I cannot say enough positive words about this place and the nice team member that helped me out (I wish I had asked for his name!!). I took my car to Superior Body Shop out of desperation. Long story short, I needed a quick bumper fix and I was recommended this place through a dealership. Not only did the shop get me IMMEDIATELY helped, but they were kind enough to comp my service since it was such a quick fix. The team member that helped me very clearly wanted to help me and made it happen. I will definitely recommend this place to friends.

I do NOT recommend this place, been calling them for an entire week everyday they say the person who works on the car is not WORKING. They had my car for 3 WEEKS to change a bumper. Tomorrow morning I am coming to pick up my car along with my MONEY back.STAY AWAY and find another bodyshop who gives you what they promise

This place is not optimizing for customer satisfaction or customer return. Perhaps you dont need to if youre in the business of doing one-off insurance repair work?In my case, the repair took weeks longer than quoted, and I ended up with a sizable car rental bill because my insurance refused to pay for a rental for this long. No flexibility from SBS to meet me in the middle at least. Would not recommend and would never contract again.

Incredibly unethical place.A team member named Hani Aho met me for an estimate on some car body repair. The estimate was 6x higher than the two other estimates I received (from higher rated places on Yelp), but that was not my problem.During the estimate, he wiped an alcohol towel on my Porsche dashboard, saying it could remove adhesive from a prior owner.A week later, my leather dashboard looks messed up and awful. Clearly not meant to be wiped by alcohol.I start with a couple nice emails to Hani notifying him that the alcohol has damaged my car and whether he can address. No response.I then call and leave voicemails. Finally, a female associate calls me back (Cindy) and notes that Hani takes no accountability for the damage. I don’t know what to say, he is the one to do it. I ask to speak to the owner to discuss the lack of integrity, honesty and frankly incompetence here and learn that *Hani is the owner*.I inform them that their owner ruining my dashboard during the estimate will cost me a lot of money and I will leave them a poor review if they won’t take accountability. Cindy told me “go for it”. So here we are.As a smaller note, I received a recommendation to go here from Porsche of Redwood City. Had I read these reviews beforehand, I would never have gone here. You can’t fix an integrity problem, especially when it belongs to the owner who manages the shop. I have informed Porsche of Redwood City’s most senior manager at the Service Center about this incident and asked him to never send customers here again.

This is a nightmare. My roommate hit my car when he backward to get out of park lot. I searched online, try to find a decent bodyshop. In June, I brought my car to this bodyshop and did vehicle repair estimate. I followed the man to check the car around. He pointed the damaged rear bumper told me it has to be replace new bumper. I totally agree with him because I had other three estimate told me the same words included the estimate of Mapfre insurance. I emphasized a few times that :please fix my car before the July 15th because I want to leave CA for Texas . I set appointment to leave my car to the bodyshop on July 1st. I never never expect, they didnt fix my car on time and changed the tune in the middle of the river. On July 18th, they called me to tell me that :they only fix the old bumper to put back, but the old bumper had a few light scratch from prior, so I need to pay another more than $600 myself, insurance doesnt want to pay. After 18 days, they haven done nothing, just play this money game. They dont care about my time schedule requirement at all. I dont accept what they were saying now. Because the estimate man told me must change new bumper. If change the new bumper, how can double charge me a few light scratch on the same parts. They play kicking ball game with insurance. The insurance officer has changed the tune too, and told me: because the car is year of 2014, cant change the new parts, has to fix the old bumper. But the approve to pay $4900 to fix the bumper. There are many fake charges which I never requested instead of new bumper. My room rent contract is expired this month, I must move out of house. They wasted my time and play me around intentionally. So, I decided to take my car to another bodyshop to fix it with my insurance since they havent fix it. I sent text message to general manager to put everything back to my car, I could drive my car to find another bodyshop to fix it. I went to there to get my car yesterday. They didnt allow to take my car away, they received $2550 from Mapfre Insurance. They asked me must pay another $2400 which insurance sent the check to me. I had told them I would pay back the check after they fix my car. I refused because the car havent fix it. They asked me to leave, I wanted to have my car. They called the police. One black policeman force me to leave without my car. and twist my injured left arm and push me down to the floor, and intentionally hurt me during the action, and even gave me a citation, force me to sing, otherwise, would give me a handcuffs and put me in jail. I signed the citation by threaten and physically injury. When I pushed the door to get out, my left arm feel very painful. Because the back policeman twist my body so strongly, today my whole body feel painful and trigger out my injured, I cant move and walked normal with huge pain. There is a bruise in my left arm, some swelling in my left wrist broke skin on both hand.Chinese Community Party destroy my family. From infant to high school, I was isolated to grow up. All I got is abused from mentally to physically . Thats how I got Asperger Syndrome. I never drug, alcohol or do some crazy thing to relieve the pain and inhumanity. I always study hard and work hard and try to build new life here. I read so many master piece of western literature works when I was little and long for freedom, equality, and Gods love. But today, I am continuously abused by people here. They have a sharpen sense to take advantage of me and select people like me to abuse. The police attitude and behavior tells me that there is no hope for good people in this free country too. My time schedule is totally ruin by them now. I wrote down these words with whole body pain. I attach some pictures to let people use common sense to judge the fact. The first picture was original damage, the second one is what I got now. 5 star charge with no star service quality.

It took them SERERAL MONTHS to finish the work. My car was hit at the left door. They increased the quote twice during the work and disembled everything off the front part of my car. And they CAN NOT put things back right! My windshield wipers were not working after their work and they refused to fix it with very rude words. The WORST customer service I had ever met. Trust all the negative reviews and avoid this place!

Ive taken all my cars to Superior for the last several years. 3 weeks ago unfortunately my wife had fender bender on her dream car. Superior came through in a big way. Car was repaired back to its original state and couldnt be happier with repairs. Greg and Dale kept me and wife update weekly. Very please happy and pleased with Superior.

Do not take your car here. Hands down the WORST costumer service experience I have ever had. Not ONE TIME did I receive a proactive update about the progress of my car. They had my car for SIX WEEKS and I only ever got an update after I called/emailed NUMEROUS times.They are getting 2 stars because they did in fact repair the damage, but I will never be back, and I suggest you dont either. I have ZERO positive comments.

From start to finish my experience was excellent. Started with Chuck and Randy expediting my repair to Cindy at the front counter finishing up the whole experience. ++ when Cindy arranged for my rental to be picked up at their shop. Highly recommend

Absolutely avoid this place. If you read this and heed me, you will thank me. Lexus and AllState, please pay close attention.It took these people 3 rounds (including two long ones) to properly complete an insurance-approved job. They dont pay attention to the details clearly specified in the claim. It must be a big expense to have to re-do a shoddy job, which probably makes them feel disgruntled and they transfer that to customers, generously.They have negative (not just zero) customer service orientation. They have absolutely no qualms about literally leaving you standing in the street and simply locking up shop and going home, never mind what prior arrangements you may have made with them. You dont see that often, especially when the customer is a woman and is coming a very long distance to pick up her car.It was my mistake to have chosen to go here, knowing they were not on the insurance companys list of approved shops and I paid the price for it. I was considering adding a gratuity for the additional effort they had to put in (even if it was their own doing), but when they locked up and went off home, I obviously abandoned the thought.I had used this shop once before, with good results. They have now obviously progressed to a point where (repeat) customers simply dont matter. They have one good, competent person there, but that is just not enough to save the shop.

White glove service, a high quality work product and good communication make Superior the best shop in the peninsula, hands down. They handle Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, Land Rover and other high end vehicles and can do aluminum body work. Amazing paint shop!!

Terrible customer service, totally missed repairing a section of my car they had marked with their own repair pen, and failed to repair my car within 1 months time, causing my auto insurance to not pay for the extra days I had to use the Enterprise rental car, and they did not pay for the extra days they promised, and never returned calls from the insurance company or from me asking for updates on the repair progress.

This place is the best for any car but high end cars especially. They work well with your insurance company and do the work in a timely manner. The employees are all nice, I had several scratches on my BMW and they buffed out the scratches to make it look new all in about 2 hours. This place is the best !!!!!!

These guys were a real disappointment. So I brought my car there after some guy backed into me. It was an easy job only a small dent in my door, maybe two and a half weeks. It took nearly a month to complete, and if that wasnt enough they called the wrong insurance company. They called my insurance company, not the insurance company of the guy who hit me. So I ended up having to pay the difference while the guy who hit me paid nothing. Then when I go to go get my car its literally caked with dirt and my battery is dead, they left my car on to the point where my car was completely dead. So no I do not recommend this place.

Its the worst experience ever. My 2 weeks job turning into 3months plus, and my car is still there. Customer service its worst. They tell the car would be ready into weeks, then another 2 weeks, now its 3months and its still there.Don’t bring the car here.And i don’t think its even legal to hold someone car that long for a scratch door and a side mirror.Just don’t bring the car here.

WORST EVER!! Had my corvette painted there and hood started to oxidize because of clear coat failure and UV exposure... CLOWNS ONLY GUARANTEE PAINT FOR 5 YEARS!! Reputable shops normally guarantee for life time. 5 years only!!! DON’t DO IT!!

Trust the negative reviews. Do yourself a favor and bring your car elsewhere because it’ll take them forever to get the car done. They are outright liars and are only looking out for the money. Customer service is the worst too because the only time they reach out to you is for the money/updated price increase.

I dont even know if it deserves 1 star. The customer service was worse then any cell phone company I have dealt with. My 10 day turn around turned into 16 days because they kept ordering the wrong part and wouldnt own up to it. I also called 5 days in around to talk to someone and everyday they transferred me to someone different who told me they would call me back. They obviously never did. I had to drive down there to talk to someone and I FINALLY got my car. DONT GO HERE!

My initial experience with this body shop was very poor. Early on, I had a similar experience to some other reviewers: lack of and unclear communication, held my vehicle for weeks, I felt like I was bothering them when I called for an update, etc. Recently, however, I had to take my vehicle back because something wasnt right (related to the original accident and repair). I was lucky enough to work with Hani. He was AWESOME. Very helpful, didnt dismiss the issue, called me multiple times to discuss it, apologized for any inconvenience (this was the 3rd time taking my vehicle back) and thanked me for my business. I received my FIXED vehicle back the SAME day! Because of him, I would use Superior again. Thank you, Hani!

NEVER AGAIN. I brought my 2015 Mustang into this shop after my first accident (that was not my fault) in hopes there would be good customer service and superior autobody repair. Boy was I wrong! The only reason I brought it to this particular shop was because my father had been going there for many years and my mother recommended that it be repaired there because of the great work they do. After scheduling a date to bring my car in, a nice lady gave me a tour inside the shop where they make repairs, it looked great inside which made me believe they would do a good job. Let me inform you that this was a MINOR accident to my car and it took them over 1 month to fix the damages. I came to pick up the car and there was boxes stacked in front of it, which took them a long time to move out of the way. The gave me the car key at the office as I proceeded to go outside and check out the work they did. Everything looked fixed but they left a cup wring on my racing stripe. One of the workers left a drink on my stripe and it ruined it and will not come out. This was very disappointing. After this bs, I was settling in my car checking if my belongings are inside and everything is functional for them to give me direction to leave, mugging and yelling at me that other cars are entering the parking lot and I have to move my car. After this unprofessional experience I had for my first car repairs, I will never come back here again and let everyone I know to do the same. DO NOT GET WORK DONE HERE.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AND THEY PUT MY LIFE IN DANGERI had my 2016 Lexus GS fixed at this location from RWC Lexus recommendation. All I can say, is its the worst experience of my life and they have 3 yelp pages that are deceiving.1. It took them two months to fix my car and they never give you updates. Tricia was my POC, but I would always have to call her to get an update. Horrible service2. First time I went to pick up my car, they only detailed the part they fixed (thats nice). The interior of the car had grease stain marks from the mechanics, swirl marks on the areas they painted, and dirt under the clear coat on the hood they just painted. I showed Tricia all of this, and she didnt see the swirl marks and acted like they were not there (pictures attached), but they had to take it back to fix the bubbles/ debris on the hood.3. The second time I went back, the back passenger door that was repaired had to be repainted because it was not painted properly and the car door jams were dirty.4. Third time I went back, the car crevices had dried white polish. I was so frustrated that I took my car and they offered ot detail it the following Monday for me. I was driving my car home and all of a sudden my CAR STALLED ON THE FREEWAY DURING RUSH HOUR. I called Superior and they sent a tow truck. Seriously! How can you mess up this bad! I finally made it somewhere safe and brought the car back to the shop. It was sent to Lexus where it was reset and I picked it up.5. Fast forward six weeks the tire they replaced blew up on the freeway! I had to take it back again and they had to send it back for inspection How does a new tire side wall blow up? Luckily I made it yet again to safe location and had to call MY OWN tow truck to change the flat.This place is horrible, lacking communication, does not follow up, puts your life in danger and does not take accountability for their mistakes. I even asked them to refund my $500 insurance deductible which they would not.I would never recommend this place to anyone and would stay clear, its not worth it. Do a simple google search for Superior autobody San Carlos Yelp and you will see they have multiple Yelp pages with similar reviews.

Best auto body shop Ive encountered. For years I had gone to Coast (now Priola) and encountered Chilton a few times, but now I have found the real gem with Superior Autobody. I am beyond happy to have worked with them on my non-insurance bumper problem. I worked with Mark and his team to identify my issue and provide me options and solutions. They were mindful of my budget and kept me informed of the details and process for my car. They said it would take 3 days, but they over delivered and had it back to me in 2 days. Everyone treated me like a VIP. I would also note that the quality of the finished job was exceptionally nice. The fit, paint match, attention to trim details and finish all make my car look gorgeous, well beyond my expectations. Some may argue that its hard to look hot driving around in a late model red PT Cruiser. But after you see me rolling in my cleaned up ride, you will surely understand that Superior Auto Body made the impossible a TRUE reality for me. #dreamscometrue #reallifePTcruiserstories #ThanksSuperiorAuto
