Mixed review. In person they are very nice and helpful. However when calling over the phone to confirm details of service, nobody can answer any questions.. they say theyll have someone call back that can answer the questions but never call back... had to follow up with them on several occasions just to confirm a few minor details of an estimate.
Had to have my hood resprayed multiple times and on the side where the fender was replaced the door squeaks when opening and closing. You shouldn’t have to have your hood resprayed three times ever, they rushed it and tried to tell me the work was complete when clearly their patchy paintwork was visible. 2/5 because at least it eventually was fixed, albeit a week after the date promised and multiple trips back and forth for the resprays.
I chose Caliber after reviewing 3 different body shops for a bumper fix and headlight replacement. I focused on a few key factors in moving forward with Caliber: (1) Price-point, the other body shops werent even close to Calibers estimate in terms of cost-savings; (2) welcoming environment and professionalism and expediting of the fix, they noted the could do a sufficient turnaround time, and performed(!); and, (3) Cherie Ochoa [I have rarely been more impressed with someone who communicates in an effective and kind manner.I call them for recommendations on non-body shop related issues because Cherie is so nice.Please take a hard look, and at least call Cherie before you decide elsewhere.
My insurance had me take my car to Caliber. Im glad they did. The service was great. And John took time to update me about my car.I hope I never have another accident. But if I do I know I will be calling John. Thank you so much the car looks great.

Caliber collision is the best, there work is perfect and there policy are the best everytime I think about a collision repair I think of caliber

If you are thinking of taking your car here, its probably because youve had an unpleasant experience, you have my sympathies. If you dont want to add to that unpleasant experience, take your car elsewhere. I didnt get my car back until a full 18 days after it was promised. When I finally got my car back, there were obvious things that were wrong, which necessitated two more visits. Makes me wonder about the quality of the work done on the not so obvious things...
Profesional and very responsive. The whole process was smooth with no hiccups. Very good work as well, I didnt see any paint drip marks, couldnt tell it was ever in an accident.
This company has got the worst Customer Service I have ever encountered. First they say one Advisor is covering my vehicle then I get an email; that a different one is assigned. NEITHER of them have ever reached out to confirm my order. Neither of them called to say the parts are in and bring in your vehicle. I have to call just to try and get an update on when completion will occur let alone when the parts were arriving.. They have had my vehicle 4 days and I have heard NOTHING from them

Didnt return my calls to fix my car, then said I have to get another estimate because the one I had from a different office of theirs wasnt accurate. Two weeks bs from this company.
I have taken my cars to Coast Auto Body in San Carlos for many years and the service was always wonderful. Did the shop close after Elmer passed away? How sad. Did it move or just close down? I need a new body shop of this caliber. Any suggestions?
The will smooth you into using their services, but they do terrible and shady work. I tend to sue this company for their shady work.
