Stay away from this shop! i was installing a mini-split unit, and needed A flashing panel. they didnt know what i was talking about despite showing them a picture. they ordered something for me, but it was NOT what i needed. at the time of purchase, they did not tell me that i could NOT return it. level of knowledge sucks, customer service sucks! go here at your own risk.
This is an excellent supply house. Fast, friendly and well informed personnel. Very clean and good location. Fair prices also. Thanks Johnstone for all your help and good products.
Great store. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help. Fair pricing and all the parts have a warranty unlike online retailers.
These guys really know how to take care of their customers!
They are very helpful
Horrible customer service, especially from guy named John, works there.Im an hvac contractor, thats been in the hvac industry for 30+ years. I know many contractors. RE Michaels is the place to go. Never Johnstone.
Great service and Jon knows his stuff!!
DIYers beware: Johnstone only sells to people who are in the club. I went to this place for a blower run capacitor, a part that one can buy on Amazon for about $10. I just needed it stat as we have a rental and their A/C was down. The people seemed nice at first but the change of tone when one of the guys behind the counter learned I wasnt with a company was like Day & Night (pun intended.) He gave me a slip of paper (they had a stack of these next to the register) directing me to Macs Electronics(!), whom they apparently use as a middleman for retail sales. He said that they have to protect the trade (I guess that means they want to force DIYers to pay one of their member companies $150 for a service call for a problem theyve already diagnosed, plus pay for a ridiculously marked-up part - or make someone drive across town to Macs for a marked-up part, wasting even more time and money.)Fortunately for my situation, there was an HVAC technician in the parking lot who had overheard the exchange in the store and offered to sell me a new capacitor he had in his truck for $5! Crisis averted, and we were able to effect our needed repairs. Many thanks to that guy.Caveat emptor to those looking for local parts: Get the items you think may go bad (capacitors, contactors, etc.) on Amazon and keep them around just in case! If you need them in short order around here youre out of luck.
These guys know there stuff. Hands down no comparison they are all over it.
Unfortunately they didnt have the copper air gap I needed other than that great place!!!
John on register gave me a really bad service.no more business with them.....
They close the store before closing hours!!!😞
Great service
