Did not know that the University Book Store offers price matching. If a student purchases a book from the store and AMAZON has it listed as a lower price, the store will credit the AMAZON listed price. Nice to know.

I drove for over an hour just to find out they dont close at 6 pm like it says online but rather at 4 pm. It wouldve been good to know so I wouldnt have to had waisted gas.

This is my alma mater, but they need to add more items to this bookstore. There are no socks with the SB logo, nor are there any Coyote stuffed animals. It has an okay supply of clothing. Proudly graduated from this fine institution in 1986, and would love to have more items to display my pride. On this last trip, I ended up buying the same two magnets I bought the years ago. Nothing else stood out 🤔

The students make great employees; they know what the other students seek, and are proficient in lending a hand to faculty as well. The four stars is because speed can always be improved with more human contention. Stocking should happen more often either when closed, or extra staff ... Never let a customer walk around without being greeted AND asked how they can be helped.

My tia goes to the university and she works at the book store and she took me there and I was amazed, my mouth dropped. I thought it just had books,just books but This place has everything that would be in a gas station Im talking everything this place has laptops,phones,school supplies,shirts,its way better than an ordinary store.The library was awesome too it was LITERALLY 5 STORIES HIGH it was cool period.

I rent a book from them and have it sent to my address and it comes in a bad condition. It had coffee stains on the top of the book. Then when I try to return it they try to tell me that I can’t. They say “we don’t give books in this condition” and tried to tell me that it was my fault. I didn’t do anything wrong, in fact I rarely even used the textbook but because they gave me a damaged book they tried to blame me. What kind of discourse do I have in an event like this? I’m never renting from them again. This is the first time I’ve rented from them and this happens. It’s just too risky when I can be given a damaged book and then blamed for it when I did nothing wrong.

Weve been shopping around for a new laptop. We came to find the CSUSB has the best price and warranty and free accessories. Cliff assisted us. Cliff was so knowledgeable and helpful as we shopped and asked a million questions. We will be coming back to purchase the laptop asap.Thank you and we greatly appreciated your assistance🤗

Some of the prices seem a little silly. The technology department offers students some very reasonable value. The staff is generally well informed and allows for productive and helpful visits even if just for consultation on a technology product.

I love my school I really do. But the one time I decided to support my school it turn in to a bad idea. I rented a book and once it returns I couldnt. There was water damage from the previous owner. I didnt know the crasher was supposed write that down. They made me buy the book I rented because it doesnt sell these type of book. Sure it some water damage but it on the corner ( again I was not the caused ). You read the words clear. I had no problems with that why I rented in the first place. Look seriously rent online, they have no problem these of issue, I wish I did. And if you have no choice but to rent from there make sure they write down problem or else you end with a book you really dont need.

Good selection of items for students. Imagine it to be like a truckstop but without the showers lol and lots of books. A little pricey on most items. But the food is cheaper than at the vending machines.

Id say I loved it but come on.., we all know that the price of textbooks is completely outrageous. That goes double when then book you bought has no buy back value or is 1/3 the original price and gets resold next quarter for twice the buy back value. What a crock.

Need better hours of operations. Students who cant make it to the store because they work all day and cant get to the store are pretty much screwed as far as finding which specific book they need for their course.

The website advertise to buy/rent their products online and and pick up right away to skip the line. However, its been almost 5 days since I order my books and they still have not manage to get it off the shelf that I can visablly see. I understand that they get thousands of orders but perhaps they should hire seasonal workers for the first two weeks of school quaters and get a better online system.

Its a nice bookstore have everything even a quick bite if you get hungry.

As an alumni I love this place, though it is pricey. Very calm when not at beginning of each quarter.

We went there for software. The young man in the computer was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Friendly staff; the wait can be long, but theyre helpful when its your turn to checkout, and they dont rush you.

Of you go or went to the school then you want to get something to represent the yoties, but everything is expensive!!!!! Im not even exaggerating! my friends and I went yesterday to see what they had for alumni and the shirts were 30$ my friend goes to UCLA and he said that they were almost as expensive as the ones from UCLA... man what is up with schools haha

Its a bookstore on a college campus! The school gear is nice but pricey!

This place can get packed really quickly as they may not always have enough employees at the cash register. Because of this, it is horrible to have to come here during certain times of the year, so I highly recommend that you DO NOT come here to buy a scantron and other things the week of midterms, finals, or Grad Days. It is insane how long you will have to wait for that one scantron. I suggest getting all of your materials the third week of school. They do tend to run out of clothing sizes, but they usually take about a week to restock a certain size.

Not only is the book store really well organized, but the people there are so considerate in making sure that you get the help you need when looking for something.

Some workers are very rude, but the store is well put together.

Its a college book store staffed by college students. EVERYBODY that I talked to was super helpful.

Cool store... Didnt like that I had to walk there to buy a green scantron cause everywhere and campus was sold out..

Granted my price match, but the card with the money can only be used at the bookstore.

Used to like the bookstore before this. The manager lied to me over the phone and told me she would order in some more, bigger sized graduation caps and they would be there before graduation for sure. I waited an entire month until that date and called to confirm; she said they werent getting anymore caps. Im incredibly disappointed. I could have found another solution to finding a grad cap that fits during that month of waiting, instead i trusted her word and waited. now i dont have a cap for graduation. Wasted my time and ruined my last days at csusb. Learned my lesson

Not alot of school shirts/sweaters to choose from. Has a little mini mart inside so you can choose a snack before class. There is also a little amount of staff so ringing you up may take a while.

No offense the Prices there are expensive...Seriously they really need to recheck on their stocks especially the jacked off prices on textbooks.
