I purchased a 2017 Silverado about 13 months ago, everything was good except when I went to try and fix a problem I had with my HMI (human module interface). The lady I spoke to in the service department gave me a price for labor and parts after I paid 139.75 for an inspection. But for the parts she charged me $150.00 more than what I found it for online on the GM website, which I saw after I left. While I was there I asked her if I could buy it online myself, she said yes, and when/if you buy it I can help you with the labor price which I felt sounded a bit shady. I dont feel she or the service department was being completely honest with me and would like to get this issue resolved.

Everything was done in a timely fashion.Everyone was polite. I would highly recommend San Benito Gilmans for work to be done on my cars.

When I had problems with my local dealer sending the necessary documentation to the Warranty provider, Premier, he made phone calls to Premier on my behalf expressing to them the necessity of expediting their review of the claim. I can’t say enough about his professionalism and consideration of my situation. Also, the work was done in a very timely manner and I had no issues on the trip home. Kudos to everyone at Gilman.

The staff friendliness was awesome, and the service was quick. I believe the only glitch that I noticed was the internal communications within the department. As I left I noticed my sticker for my next oil change was noted on miles I had already surpassed. So I contacted the service department and I returned to the dealership so it can be fixed. It was a simple human error with no major effects. Overall the service and staff were great.

Excellent service. Timely matter

When I got there, there were 2 trucks if not more ahead of me. And then I was told it would be a couple of hours, which makes no sense. Why set appointments if it does not expedite the process. I could go to walmart the same way. Almost nothing the website said happened. I initially selected the 59$ option to get the 27 point inspection . But was told it would be the same with the oil change, but I dont really know if that was the case. The guy who drove the shuttle seemed to have a chip on his shoulder, was confrontational in our conversation, but still remained professional. Just seemed a bit passive aggressive. When I called to see if my car was done 2 hours later, they told me the shuttle was in Port Isabel, which the website said, 10 mile radius, and shuttle runs every 45 mins. Luckily the service manager picked me up, not a talkative or charming guy. Do as the website says, or dont do post it on your site. The coffee pot had a pot full of water instead of coffee. I am gonna go one more time, to see if the service changed. Maybe it was one of those days... for everybody.

Service advisor was good, only complaints were didnt reset oil life expectancy back to 100%, and left glove box apart after checking cabin air filter, had to figure it out myself and fix!!!

Bad experience, wouldn’t disclose car fax until all paperwork was signed, had to cancel sale. Manager Shane very rude and claimed an accident repair was “ok” and I didn’t know cars like he did

My car was towed to the dealership after breaking down on the road. I received excellent service from the OnStar representative, the tow truck driver, and the service representative. Everyone was kind and courteous. I felt comfortable with the information I was given at every step of the way. Great efforts were made to explain everything in detail so I could make an informed decision about my service choices.

We switched from Toyota to Chevy. Let me tell you I love my Tahoe but I recently had to take it in for some service. Well let me tell you that the customer service I expected was not there. Till this day I couldnt get an exact date my vehicle would be ready. He kept saying today today. Well it was 4 days with no vehicle I could have gotten a rental if only he wouldnt keep saying today. Well I learned my lesson either get a rental or maybe try a different service center.
