I was hired to work here for a 90 day temp to hire position that only lasted one day. It is my opinion that this place does not promote diversity. I arrived at 6:45 am and stood waiting until 7:10 am while multiple employees walked passed me as if I was nothing before I was offered a seat while they prepared me for safety orientation. I completed my shift during my transit home I got a call from the staffing company who informed me that the company did not want me to come back because I “disappeared several times” I reach out to the company which no one was able to give me a valid reason as to why I was removed from my assignment. This place judge me based off my skin color and my dread locks and lied to the staffing company about my performance which directly affects my work status with them. I would not recommend this place to anyone of color. I will be contacting the BBB also.
In the midst of this quarantine, I forgot my mask and ANDY was so awesome. He came out to get my card, gathered my order and hand delivered all to my car. I really appreciated him going above and beyond. Great customer service!
I typically do not like writing negative reviews on anyone’s business considering I myself am a small business owner. Me experience with this business was one that made me not come back until something is done. I’ve been in this storefront numerous times and every time I have seen a similar pattern... I will not disclose my company name but I will share my experiences. I drive 30-45 minutes to San Antonio to pick up materials and place orders at this store. However, every time I have been in there showroom I have noticed the 2 gentleman in the front with glasses always cussing out loud or at each other with customers present. I myself have been in there when this is occurring. The gentleman at the very first chair has been on YouTube several times when I’ve walked in and always signals me “that one of these gentlemen will help me” referencing to the other people at the counter. I also dislike the fact that I have to commute to the back office to pick up or place a small rental order. I’ve sent my employees to pick up orders before and they are not at all huge orders but I’ve received complaints from my employees about the clerk helping them with rental orders. Rude & irritated mood is the feedback I’ve received a couple of times already. Again, I extremely am against leaving negative reviews but I as myself I strive for customer satisfaction and return business. And these individuals I’ve mentioned above are doing the complete opposite to this business. FIX IT!-A concerned ex customer.
The young gentleman in the front desk by the name of Rigo is very helpful! We were in there last week looking for some material for a DIY home project and he was able to help us, explain to us, and even printed out paperwork for the product he sold us. Definitely recommend him if you’re in need of anything.. professional, patient, and understanding of our situations.
