I had a GREAT experience with Christopher today at this location. He was extremely helpful and personable. There were a few ridiculous customers before me that he handled with complete grace and then repeatedly apologized for their behavior that had nothing to do with him at all. Overall, amazing experience with the whole staff!
This little spot had a lot of inventory inside and outside. both staff members were very helpful and quick to help me get on my way. The Bearded guy inside was a super Jolly Fellow (i know his name is Mike, Mark or maybe even John, could have been Rico Suave with that beard, but Im horrible with names..sorry but all i know is that he made the experience way easier. Explained TERMS & CONDITIONS plainly to make it easier & feel better about buying insurance, which was a wise choice. Plenty to choose from, boxes, plastic wrap, even HITCH OPTIONS FOR HAULING TRAILERS. I thought I would get a super super deal at Walmart but looking at the prices after I bought from Walmart I could have saved a few bucks just buying directly from U-Haul for the trailer hitch ball. They have a great selection by the way. People like these guys are what Id like if i owned a franchise.
I stopped by 2 days in a row, bad service, i was told only online reservations were being accepted even though they had plenty of trailers available to rent.
Horrible experience. Ive used uhaul for every move over the last 20 years. This was by far my worst experience. My credit card kept getting charged with different amounts, which locked my card due to fraud protection. The moving helpers I booked thru the website never showed up, but I was still charged. Trying to get a hold of customer service was at least an hour wait each time we tried calling. I would NOT recommend this location to anyone.
MY TRUCK HAD STOLEN PLATES!On July 30, 2019 I rented my U-Haul pick up truck at 11:39 AM at this location. U-Haul called me at 3:31 PM to notify me that the truck I had driven off the lot had plates that were marked stolen and this was a U-Haul internal issue. By this time I already had a state trooper waiting at my U-Haul pick up truck! The officer notified me he ran the plates and they were in fact marked as STOLEN! I was then escorted to back to the U-Haul lot by the officer so the situation could be handled. Unfortunately, no more information was given to me at the office except theyd, put on the wrong plate by mistake.Please, to anyone reading DO NOT USE THESE TRUCKS! I could have been pulled over and taken into custody because I was unknowingly driving a U-Haul truck with STOLEN plates! And U-Haul only notified me 4 hours after the truck was in my possession! And unfortunately, due to lack of information I have no idea if this incident is isolated to this facility or if this is all of U-Haul as a whole. All I can say is that this event was extremely unpleasant and could have happened to anyone else with a worse outcome! This company needs to be held accountable!
Avoid this place if you can. I ordered a hitch online and was given an appointment for day of. As I was on my way, I got a call telling me they didnt have the parts and would order and scheduled me for a week away. Fine, no big deal. Then when I was on my way to the following appointment, I was running late and I called them, only to be told the parts were still not there but no one called me to tell me. I took time off of work to go. So the following appointment I show up and the part is still not there. I took time off work AGAIN. No one called to communicate this yet again. The person I dealt with called their parts place(?), not too sure as he wasnt the most friendly or communicative person on their staff. They told him they werent shipping until May. So, he ordered the hitch overnight from elsewhere and said that it should arrive by Wednesday at the latest. I call Uhaul Wednesday and I get an operator, she was super helpful and I told her what had been going on, she was super apologetic about my experience and told me a manager would call me to discuss the hitch. Never got a call back. Today is Thursday so I call them again and just decide to cancel and the same guy I dealt with answered the phone because I could tell by his giving no F!*!s attitude it was him. He didnt apologize or even say the hitch had arrived, he just gave me the refund and that was it. Worst customer service in town and they basically just dont care. I dont know if this is a franchise but maaaaan I would not want that person running my business. Also, no one was wearing any masks that was working there. So if youre immunocompromised or just trying to avoid contact with humans that are being irresponsible when it comes to covid, STEER CLEAR.
Had a reservation for a truck and two dollies. Went in to pick up my rental and the guy working at the counter could hardly be bothered to look up from his chicken strips to look up my reservation. He saw my order and said 9-foot van, right? I confirmed and said, Yes, with two dollies, to which he said, Oh, we dont have any dollies at this location. I wouldnt trust that guy to know his right arm from his left is the impression I got. Horrible customer service, completely unprofessional, and just bad. Please spend your money elsewhere.
Seth is a great employee, honest and a good attitude, owners are very lucky to have a employee like him, I dont know him personally but Ive dealt with some really bad employees at other uhaul locations. Thankyou! Keep up the good work!
Customer attendant wouldnt open the door until 10 minutes after our reservation. Wouldnt even acknowledge we existed.
Let me tell you something... this place has the smallest parking lot in the world. Hard to get into. Hard to get out of. They could park some trucks in the back so customers could actually park somewhere. They got like 4 parking spots. (Okay so maybe 5, but no more than that). Street parking is hard to come by because its on the access road and Cavender toyota has cars parked EVERYWHERE. They should make the entrance the back of this building. It would really help. Other than that they alright, but cant go in and ask questions or even pick up stuff cause there is nowhere to park and they NEVER answer the phone. Ever.
Just had a hitch installed this morning. Overall, I was very satisfied with their service. I dealt with Seth who was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. They got the job done within 30 min. as promised! I highly recommend this place for hitch installation!

9 am pickup time and have been in line for 40 minutes already, they have 1 person working on a Sunday which is a busy moving day. This is ridiculous. Where is management or the owner helping out this morning?
This store charged me twice once when I returned the truck and a second time a month later with an additional charge attached for late payment. There was no indication of a second charge no receipt emailed to me, just a charge of over a hundred dollars taken out of my bank account. The store doesn’t answer the phone no matter how many times you call. If I could give less than 1 star I would.
This location has all your hitch/truck rental/propane needs! The manager is very knowledgeable and professional. He doesn’t get the recognition he deserves.

I was having problems last night at U haul ingram when i drop the truck yesterday 12/22/2017 after i finish using the truck and i was mistakenly left my car key on the truck. I don’t have a truck key because i already put on the key drop box and i don’t have any chance to get the truck key to open the truck door and get my car key. I was call to the road side assistance U haul and they seems don’t want to help me and they referring me to others towing company to pay them and get my key from truck.. So this kind of unfair because they need to have some to solve this kind of issue if so any person can have any mistake they might left wallet or driver license or car key so they have to have emergency assistance to help this kind a issue i hope any want can understand my feelings so u haul must have emergency assistance like this! everywhere in united states u haul...!!
Such awesome service. So refreshing after all the terrible service we received originally at the San Pedro location. Definitely come to this location instead. Its worth it! !
Ive used this location 3 times in the last couple of months to rent 1 open trailer and 2 closed trailers. The service was excellent all 3 times, and since the same person wasnt there each time it means they are all probably great. I will need to rent trailers again and I will go to this location.
This place has horrible customer service and the employees are the reason why. I came in to rent a van, as soon as I walk in the guy walksaftwr he sees me, thanks. Then I’m filling out my information and he asks for my specific apartment #. I was like why do you need that? He said in case we need to mail you something. I was like okay well I don’t want anything I’m thr mail. His response was then well I, not giving you a van. Are you kidding me? I gave you the physical address, it’s not like I’m parking the uhaul inside my apartment why do you need that. Then I call and make a reservation online and go to pick it up, the guy recognizes my name apparently and says yeah we need your apartment number, it’s an$45,000.00 truck. I’m like okay well where is that policy? Can I see it I’m writing that my address requires a specific apartment number? Of course he can’t find it so he tells me to go to corporate and same thing, refuses to give me a van, I don’t want the creep guys that work there knowing exactly where I live, this is a shady part of town. Kyle was the person who refused the first time and laughed, like he thought I was joking and then the managers name was Mark Fiere(or something similar) who of course couldn’t find the policy.
Rented at u-haul next to CAVANDER TOYOTA 410/ bandera came back and droped off a car hauler at its right time even 15min before closeing and the tall guy with long hair was so rude and has no clue of customer service....This immature jerk walked out the door and said am close and walked out and left the location. To top it off he didt help un hook the trailer wich was defected cues it wouldt release from my truck hitch ball....after many attempts it finally released....suck when you pay to have to use this equipment and after a long day of work and moveing you have to put up with over grown jerks that act like a 5yr old and has no customer service skills....kids that think they run the show just cues they sit behind the counter and rent equipment out and play with a impact guns and putting hitch balls....maybe he should grow some and get a real job or he must like metal balls
Its uhaul, if there is a line it is going to take a while. My single time using this location we got the truck in 15 minutes from arriving (no line and had reservation) and drop off took 10 min (one group in front). Manager was the nicest at a uhaul I have ever used.
I called in to ask for booking for a uhaul the sale person who answered the phone at 9:10 am was very rude starting tell me Ill have to be on a waiting listing because its the 1st and ppl are moving but I wanted it for Saturday,he continues.. nothing would be available without me even mention to him about why I was renting the truck .And also he added all uhaul in the area would tell me the same thing . So I called Uhaul on6400 Ingram to see, she was fast,and delightful, took my info . Booked me for Saturday 9am without any problems Thanks for her..This store gave me a bad impression on the Company .You only need one bad apple I guess.

Never rented Uhaul before but Im more then sure when your set your rental to be ready by 7am someone should be at the location to give you the keys I didnt leave the yard till 8am also when I brought my truck back they ended up having me wait another hour since one guys was the only one helping ppl get going so idk what the hell is up but first taste of this place was not good. If your moving out the day of and are on a time limit like I was look else where trust me.
Rented Sunday afternoon brought back Sunday evening. I was called several times Monday-while at work so unable to answer but figured it was that my refund was ready.. After work made my way there to pick up my deposit refund and Im told my truck isnt there...WHAT?!? According to the GM someone has been stealing uhaul trucks so now I have to wait a whole day for footage of my return to be verfied. I just moved spent 2grand + uhaul fees... with only a quarter tank of gas left and zero $ to my name till Wed. as I relied on my dep. refund to hold me up on gas...The inconvenience is unreal. I know My problems are not theirs but show some customer service not even corporate could inform me of the video verification time/process. Im just a full time employee/mom/ student on a budget-show some customer service...geeez after all its uhauls after hr return process that is shady as hell you literally throw your key in a huge hole in the window...I shouldve gone with my gut on how sketchy that all was...DONT RETURN YOUR TRUCK AT NIGHT! This uhaul location also seems understaffed with only the GM working at the time.If issue is resolved quicker I will gladly update my review.
They are ridiculously slow. Took us 45mins just to return the Dang van. Horrible!!! Hire more ppl seems under staffed. They need to give the guy who was working today a raise. He was all alone on a Saturday even though he was super busy he had great customer service attitude very friendly.
