Stopped in here while on vacation to pick-up some “local” bourbons. The gentleman working that evening was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out several items. Finally got around to trying them and he was spot on. Great suggestions and good prices as well.

Never felt so horrible. Went in for the 1st time. I asked for help to reach a bottle from the top since Im only 5ft. tall. The guy working asked me if I was tall enough to drink and if I was skipping school. Cant believe this guy. I felt like I was back in elementary being bullied and been made fun off. Never will I step foot in this store again. To bad I cant give him a 0 🌟. Enter at own risk at this liqour store!!!

Guy wouldnt sell me anything because I am Mexican. I had money. I was going to pay! Never again would I set foot in his store! The nerve of some people to judge based on race. Smh.In response, I didnt say Mexicans. I said me. Because I am mexican. Why that day you chose to discriminate against me, I dont know and dont really care. Never setting foot in you store again. Liquors on Main was the closest liquor store to our hotel during a visit to San Antonio. I was impressed with the cleanliness and selection. Prices were good for location and the Owner was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stop by again when visiting.

Good location good reviews but wouldn’t sell us anything because he thought we were slurring our speech. I’m not even close to being over served and being someone who has worked in an industry where beer is served and people get cut off I can tell u that he needs to be educated. Some people just talk a certain way. No one in my party is drunk but he assumed they were based on how we are speaking. Trust me when I say, he needs to learn the difference between slurred speech or an intoxicated individual and someone’s accent or the way they speak. I’m just sayin.

Was nearby and needed some miniature bottles for my bouquets that I make for birthday gifts/ anniversaries and decided to stop by. It was quick and easy to get in and out of the area. The store was clean and sales person was helpful and friendly. Very convenient.

The owner of this place is down-to-earth. He will be the only one you see behind the register and has a pretty good memory.Maybe Ive visited too many times, but he remembers I work downtown and gives me a small neighborhood discount. I love savings! Conveniently placed and better prices than Pig Liquors and the one near Coyote Ugly on Commerce.

I travel a lot with work and always try to support the local merchant trying to make a difference. I got a chance to speak with this small but very well stocked liquor store owner. Abe was great and even gave me some tips. I watched him deal with the locals and it was apparent to me he is more interested in serving the community then selling them something they won’t like just to make a buck. When I visited the store the owner had only been open for 3 days, so he was working hard to get things up and running. Despite this, the owner was polite and helpful. Most importantly his prices are below what you would normally pay in a liquor store in the scenic downtown of a major city. There are plenty of “tourist-targeting” stores in the area. However, this is your best bet if you just want straight forward, no frills liquor store.

Reasonable prices, especially for the area, with a great selection and outstanding customer service. Not only was I greeted as I entered, but the shop owner took the time to help me find a spirit fitting my preference in my price range with his own recommendation. Just found this store right across from the bus I take to get home, so will definitely be frequenting from time to time for a quick spirit. Thank you and best of luck toward your new business!

Over Christmas holidays I visited this store as I was staying down the street at a hotel. The guy at this store followed me or was always asking if I needed anything as I was making selections. At the time there was a white couple which being a small store I could hear him asking them for assistance and not in the same tone as he did me and not following throughout the store. Last time I shop here this did not sit well with me.

The owner is friendly and super nice. Just an honest guy trying to make a living. The alcohol is very reasonably priced. Love this store and will always shop here.

My husband was shopping for a party event and my husband felt uncomfortable as he was buying .The owner kept looking as if he was going to steal. My husband looked at the bottle picked it up but put it back on the shelf . When he turned to another aisle he asked the owner if he had any bottles of gin. Owner automatically asked him what did he do with the bottle he grabbed that he never saw him put it back. What kind of question is this first of all. When my husband is still shopping around . My husband was surprised by the situation. He was there to buy in a big bundle but did not know what to get . The Owner was not friendly at all for the way he directed that question to him as he was still shopping assuming he was stealing in my opinion. Don’t buy here! Never in my life has he felt discriminated the way he was .

Visited San Antonio last weekend and forgot the tequila. Found L on M near my hotel so I walked over and picked some up. I bought a bottle of Cabo Wabo and it cost about $1 more than I’ve seen it at the giant places. TOTALLY worth it since I didn’t have to navigate downtown San Antonio traffic to get there. Guy working there was very friendly and helpful.

Guy was quick and efficient during closing following all liquor store guidelines even if it caused a confrontation there were about three of them that got a bit rowdy because of ID not matching card etc and thats the only reason why I dont write all 5 stars thats because of the customers has nothing to do with staff

Went here to get a high end bottle of Crown XR. The man behind the desk was very courteous and knowledgeable. Actually tried to steer me to a bottle half the price with same quality. I ended up getting the Crown XR anyways bc it was for a wedding, but great customer service and good prices.

Terrible experience here. The guy at the counter sooo condescending, relax dude it’s just beer, acting as if I was gonna steal, talking down to me, made me super uncomfortable. If you’re so worried or are scared of anyone that comes in that’s not white, because you definitely treated me differently then just get a guard, if you can afford one, you give horrible customer service.With certainty I WILL not come back.
