Doing some research before moving out to San Antonio. Though smaller than their competitor, they carry a different line of products, such as electronic rice cookers, kitchen-specific refrigerator, and a line of water purifier and air filter service(?). They have all of the essential Korean spices and specialty food imported from Korea as well as locally made.

I drove almost 20 miles to visit this grocery store. It was great as suggested by the reviews. Everything is neat and tidy, the price is more competitive than the other Korean grocery store. I wish it is closer to where I live, so I could shop there more often. Nevertheless I will come back again.By the way, they sell authentic Korean snacks and desserts. The red bean rice cake as fantastics.

Cashier offten tend to not giving you proper receipt. you are not able to know what items you are charged or over charged. the receipt didnt display a list of items, purchased, instead, only shows the amount of total. I asked for it, but ower/cashier insisted its the right receipt. What kind of receipt wouldnt have item list?!?! IRS state this is receipt and deposit fraud, which we all should report to IRS online. ask cashier, if you are getting modified receipt from this store. ASK FOR YOUR RIGHT. THEY HAVE TO PAY TAX AS MUCH AS YOU HAVE TO.

Update:Based on my experience, Masks are an absolute must or they will ask you to leave, even children. (Strictly stated as an FYI)The hot drinks vending machine in the restaurant is a nice addition. We have only been able to dine in once since covid but all is still good. Still clean, still delicious, and still closed on Sundays.Worth the trip every time. Plus the store now sells some American soda.Previous review:The food is amazing ! Usually not too crowded and the portions are family sized so take a friend. Also the rice is free if you dine in. Bring a drink with you or you can buy Korean soda from the market. They only serve water in the restaurant.

This store has pretty much everything you need for cooking Asian food and specifically Korean food. They also have a lot of other products besides for the house. I really nice surprise is the restaurant thats inside. That restaurant is probably the best Korean restaurant in all of San Antonio with great food.

Really enjoyed the selection! Amazing variety! The noodles, seaweed, kimchi, tofu and so much more! Very neat concise place to shop!! Excellent korean market. It also has a small diner inside with good meals. We travel from the Medina County line to shop here. It is worth the drive. Adashi (아저씨) is always a gentleman and a welcoming person.

Its hard to rate the store but Ill try. Its not a huge store and Ive tried to find other Korean Stores in the San Antonio area and I couldnt find any like H-Mart, Ranch 99 etc.For this store particularly, you wont find many things as compared to huge stores but they have a few fruits, veggies and other shelved items. Its kept very clean and well organized. Location wise...its somewhere off of I410 &I35.4 star rating is just because they dont carry fresh meat, a few frozen meats thats all.

It is smallest of all korean/asian market however, I prefer quality over quantity. They sell handmade kimchi that is better than other stores that are shipped in. More traditional. It is truly mom and pop store and lovely.

Very small place to shop. Happy they had banchan sides but didnt taste very good. Bummed. Small section of frozen meat. Overall, they have what you need to cook up your Korean bbq at home.

We always like coming here and being able to find all that we need. They always have a big selection on items. The only reason for only 4 stars was that the Gorae hot stand was closed. We were soo looking forward to trying them, maybe next time.

A decent sized store with various Asian products, snacks, food, and treats. They are well stocked and are more than welcome to get items that might be in their back stock room.I like the fact that they make their own kimchi dishes(very fresh!) and other food items such as kimbop, steamed corn, and other tasty side items.They also have a small restaurant in the corner for various Korean dishes with rice, noodles, meat, seafood, etc. My mother enjoys a few of their dishes since she says its close to what she ate when she was in South Korea.

They have everything you need for your Korean meal,and more. The store has lots of oriental items as well. They are also very friendly and helpful.

Have been coming here since I started cooking korean recipes. I find all my ingredients and then some. There is also a cafe inside much larger since they moved into their new location. The staff is vert friendly and always help me when I have questions. I always grab some kimbab when the cafe is open. They always taste delicious. Tonight they had stemmed buns available, wish I had bought more than one.

I came for the ramen 🍜, I left with the rest of the store. This the largest selection of South Korean products that I’ve seen (in SATX) to date. I was surprised to see they even carry a small selection clothing— retail and traditional!

It was a very unpleasant experience in their small restaurant inside the store. The older lady who took my order was so unkind and rude. I already paid for my meal but I just left. I couldnt eat there. It was so negative vib. They need to be a little more kind to customers. It was very upsetting experience and I wouldnt go there avain.

There are a lot of Asian markets within 10 min of my house. This is probably the smallest one. Small doesnt mean bad, as they still carry items that are hard to find. For example, milk bread is something my family loves. Also, their fresh produce, still has a lot to offer even though its small.These are just 2 examples, add in a friendly, inviting, helpful staff, I would say dont pass this little store by!

I really like this place! They have five kinds of every item! Also, as I get more adventurous with my Korean cooking, they also have cooking accoutrements. Fresh kimchi is amazing. Also, $.99 beauty moisturizing face masks.AND! Everyone is friendly and its not intimidating for me, even though Im not a regular customer nor speak Korean!

This is my GO TO for Korean groceries. They always have prepared Kim chi of several types. They also always carry fresh Korean lettuce, fabulous garlic that has already been broken down from the bulb in large sacks you can to purchase any amount you need. Korean groceries are abundant and extensive, including sauces, vinegars, noodles, refrigerated meats and vegetables. At one end of the store is an area where you can select cooking items, dinner ware, bamboo cooking items, and a myriad other items. The store has a kitchen manned by Korean cooks. The food is truly authentic and delicious. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful store to everyone.

Though small and cramped, Korean Market offers a great selection of Korean foods and goods with generally great prices. There is also a small kitchen that, like most Korean restaurants, is a bit pricey, but in this case maybe not worth it depending on what you get. I ordered a beef bulgogi dish that felt like it was 50% onions, 30% other vegetables, and the rest meat. While the meat was good, the abundance of onions overpowered everything.

Great place to shop and kinda hidden from the main road and also has a restaurant to eat at which is a big plus for me.

I was at the Korean Market at Fairdale Street, San Antonio for take out. Ive been coming here for awhile and this place has not disappoint me. The place is clean and the foods are great. This is my sons favorite place to get Kalbi and my daughters favorite, Pork Stir Fry. So, if youre craving some Korean food or if youre in the area, visit this place. You will not be disappointed.

Abnormally busy, but that makes me happy. Everything I needed/wanted: great conversation with locals, picked up fresh kimbap along with seaweed for sushi, and my monthly groceries ...it looks like the restaurant is open for pickup.In case you are the type that cares, everyone, including customers, were wearing a mask, they wiped the counter between each transaction, and there was plenty of social distancing even though the the store was busy.

I bought the seafood party soup from this place 3 days ago and it was delicious.

Love love love this market. The restaurant inside is definitely a favorite. No table service, kinda a help yourself type of spot. Love the comfort and at home feel. Produce is good, and I love the assortment of premade pickles and sides. This place also has great kitchen ware and simple home good products that you cant easily find in your typical American market. Appreciate this place so much.

Great variety of items in the store. Prices are very competitive with other Asian stores. Not only can you buy food or snacks theres also nice household items as well. I love that you can buy the pickled side dishes and it tastes actually fresh. Inside is a little restaurant and I love eating there! Its self serve so be sure to clean up after yourselves.
