Have been coming to this Japanese store since they were one of the only places to get Japanese groceries in San Antonio. Having lived in Japan for many years, its always great to get some of traditional Japanese groceries and snacks. Service is always great. Wide range of groceries, snacks, and candies. Its not the largest store, but they have all the staples and all the popular items you would expect. Prices are very reasonable, especially for being imports. Good customer service, good selections, and good prices.

Solid grocery store converting all the Japanese grocery essentials. They carry all forms sauce, many varieties of short and medium grain rices (I had trouble finding long grain), curries, and noodles. Their snack section also carries a few fun items to try. Be sure to keep your eye out when you drive up because theyre a bit tough to see from the street.

Such kind employees and a great array of high quality items to choose from. I had the most wonderful shopping experience here. Please come check out this charming shop!

Small but efficient, had everything we needed and some.Prices not bad either! We even found some items cheaper here than at the bigger stores in the area.

The place was amazing, prices were cheaper then most markets, I love the authenticity it holds.

A lot of different products. Couldnt read most of the labels. My daughter wanted to come here and she definitely was excited about everything. A little bit of a lot of things. Everything seemed to be reasonably priced. I will be returning in the near future.

We love this place, the kids love to try the different snacks and sweets. Prices are very reasonable, we were looking for Narutomaki and they had it in stock.

I love this place! Staff is always friendly, selection is a little limited but great for the size of the store, and products are never expired. Between here and Minnano, I tend to come here more often (although both are great). It would be nice to see a bigger selection of Japanese kitchen items.

Good selection of foods, great prices, they even has some sake and Japanese beer. Most importantly they have sweet red bean paste cakes in the shape of fish.

Delightful little hole-in-the-wall kinda place. Their selection isnt as big as other stores Ive been to, but its a very pleasant little shop. The cashier has also been very friendly both times Ive visited.

This place might look run down and small, but they do have a nice selection. The staff is friendly too. The sushi is fresh a reasonably priced.

A small, older Japanese shop in SA. Stocked with mostly practical items from Japan and a slightly larger selection of dried/canned/frozen items than the only other Japanese market I know of in town. Prices are middling, higher than other Asian shops, but lower than the other Japanese store near Medical Center.

Well, this place has a good selection of foodstuffs and dishware. Has some damn good ramen noodles too.

I go here regularly for the dried seaweed (kombu and dried salads that are quite nice once rehydrated), dried bonito, many varieties of miso, the red pepper mix, and the frozen gyoza are spot on for in-home cooking. If you have any questions the cute Japanese girl will help you.They also have some sashimi grade fish and octopus, pickled products, deserts and dressings, sauces, pretty much anything you need to make sushi and other Japanese food at home.
