My whole experience with Apple was amazing from the beginning, through chat, through the phone as they tried to help me to bringing it in to the store! Best customer service I’ve received in a good while! Thank you guys y’all are the best!!! 10 out of 10 stars I would recommend

I went on a Saturday evening at exactly 8 pm. A male staff approached me and asked if I needed any help. I told him “I’m buying an UNLOCKED iPhone 11 (white) right now because I’m surprising my mom.” The staff said he couldn’t help me because I went an hour before closing. And then, another male staff approached me again and same thing happened. When I was about to leave, there was a younger male staff (how I wished I remembered his name, so I can give credit) who approached me. Again, I told him what I needed and that 3rd male staff sold me an iPhone, it took about 5 mins. I had no idea why the first two unprofessional staff couldn’t sell me an iPhone. I even paid in full. Oh well.

Awesome experience.Wesley & Martin saved the day, and restored my sanity.They were 100% friendly, knowledgeable and PATIENT.I walked in with a complicated issue and walked out of there-roughly 90 minutes later- with everything set up, activated, etc.Please adjust your expectations- If you expect to visit an Apple store, appointment or not, and have everything taken care of in under 30 minutes you are delusional.

I went to apple store north star at 7:10pm.. the host put my name and told wait somebody can help me.. until I’m wait 35 minutes nobody came to help me and i ask the host, she told me wait 5 more minutes or she make appointment for me tomorrow.. i saw half employee stand and keep talking.. please told all employees gave good customer service and not waste customer time..

Awesome people! I came in without an appointment not knowing that I needed one. They were so nice and helped me anyway. And gave me a great deal on my trade in .I got a new iPad. Everyone was so friendly and it was completely quick and painless experience.

These are terrific technicians and professionals at work here. I worked with Jash who was knowledgeable, flexible and dynamic. The loss of one star is just because of how busy they always are and how long the wait time is even if you have a reservation. Every professional is masked and spends quality time with their clients.

!!!! Extremely terrible experience with individual who’s name is ERIC…. idk how he got position of team lead with such a low costumer respect….I had some trouble at genius bar and I asked the genius with whom I worked to bring me a manger so I can ask him some questions about my iPhone repair and she brought me that useless person ERIC. He wasn’t able to answer on my questions in proper manner so I asked him to call manager but he refused my request, and then I asked him at least 15 times to call me a manger but he never did…..he just said that he’s the person with whom I need to talk, and he is the highest in that store who can handle issues with costumers ( total lie ) He didn’t provide me any chance to talk to store manager. If u will meet that person ERIC, please let him know that you want to talk to another person, so you can keep your nerves.

Drove 40 miles for a Battery replacement on my iPhone. It says on the stores website that they close at 8 PM. I arrived at 7:10 PM Only for them to tell me that they weren’t taking any more appointments for the day. If you go to a restaurant and it closes at 8 PM and you arrive at 7:30 PM they still serve you. I drove along ways only to be told that they couldn’t provide service for me. Don’t waste your time with the store!

I had an appointment today at the Apple store at North star Mall. When I went in the first time today at my appointment they ran some diagnostics on my phone. They told me that my phone needed to be fixed and it would take an hour. So I walked around North star Mall while waiting on my phone and got something to eat. Shortly after that I went back to the Apple store inside North star Mall, and while I was waiting in the store since several other workers were rudeAnd said that I needed a way in the back very demanding. They came off like they were an authority figure. I was very shocked that I was treated like a prisoner inside their store. I spend a lot of money on Apple products and this was the first time I ever walked into an Apple store to be treated like dirt. When I got my device back. I filed a complaint with the manager. The manager really did nothing about it except for give me her business card and told me that I’m sorry this happened to you.I told the manager before I left I was going to buy some products a screen protector and some other stuff but after the way I was treated by the employees I told her I’m just gonna leave now. The Norstar location is a straight up not customer friendly ghetto store.

I understand the sheer volume that wants to visit their stores, but please come up with a more efficient way for me to pickup an item I purchased online that is IN STOCK.

I had a great experience at this Apple store! I came in to get my laptop inspected for some issues I was having and even though they were busy helping other customers, I did not have to wait too long before being helped and everyone was very kind.Carlos assisted me at the Genius Bar and he was fantastic! He let me explain all that was going on and then kindly walked me through what my options were. I left there a happy customer. Thank you Carlos!

Always crowded. Excellent customer service. Associates are able all your questions. They really know about all Apple products. Products are in stock and ready to take to your home. Be patient, as said its always crowded, so youre going to wait sometime before your turn. Its worth to visit this store.

The the gentleman that helped me was friendly and professional, but my phone wouldn’t upload content to iCloud and after a few minutes they basically sent me away and told me to keep trying at home and come back later to trade in my phone. I was there for over two hours. It was pretty disappointing and frustrating. I had to Al’s multiple time for a follow-up appointment. They finally agreed and set it up. I have yet to get the phone to upload all the content to the iCloud. They upgraded my storage to 2TB and it still didn’t work.

Super unorganized. If you arent raising their commission off a sale, they wont help you. We made an appointment to help with a watch we recently purchased, and we let them know we arrived, and we sat for an hour watching people coming in and out being attended to faster because they were purchasing. Scum bag staff. Dont waste your time if its anything other than a sale.

Thank you for being super kind.I had made an appointment with Best Buy’s Geek Squad at the Forum and was treated with such disrespect by BB manager and GM, I don’t think they should represent the Apple brand,You are only as good as your branding! Apple should require Best Buy to treat all Apple customers with a required amount of respect and decorum. There needs to be a quality check at that store soon!!

I will start with, I am less than pleased with this location, which i rarely visit, but when I do, it is very displeasing. I showed up to pick up a USBC to USB Adapter, which is a small item, fits in your pocket. I waited almost an hour without any indication of how long it was going to take, or any updates whatsoever. Reasoning I was given by a Manager, that goes by the name of Joe, notified me of how sorry he was and that, shouldnt happen, but yet did, and from all the previous reviews posted on various platforms, it doesnt look like I am the first displeased customer, nor do I think I will be the last. While I waited an hour, another gentleman I noticed waited less than 10 minutes, for 2 pairs of air pods, and iPad and an Mac book air, I dont get how that can be, but when asked, I was told it was a computer error, with my pick up, lucky me. I was also told, that the girl that attended me, was new, while waiting i was able to count more than 30 employees, and it just so happened that they had the new girl, by herself, handling the pick up your product, dept., so I dont understand, why on the busiest day of the year, as I was told, you have a new by herself, with a chance to make that big of a mistake, with such a little item, if anything I would make sure she help, it was, as they said very busy, so for her to be alone, and not have an experienced associate with you then that lets me know that they were not prepared, and if you know you have a busy day ahead of you, and are not adequately prepared, then if ever I see it busy there, which is almost all the time, then I shouldnt waste my time, because most then likely, the customer service will be less than desirable. Very disappointed, with my visit, and will most likely not visit this location again.

Wanted to see how well the Apple pen worked on the newest Ipad (released 09/24). Tough luck. Impossible to make it work on any of their Ipads. Only worked on the Ipad Air or Pro. The Apple guy told me it was because their Ipads in the store were not real Ipads but I shouldnt worry and buy it anyway. LOL. I got out of there fast.

Set an appointment to get a repair done on my wife’s phone (warranty issue) and after waiting 2 days to get into my appointment they turned me away and told me that it was for a sales appointment and not a service one. Said they couldn’t get me in for another 2 days, no exceptions. As an area manager for a large phone company I can’t wait to get back on Monday and push the heck out of Samsung phones. Won’t be a drop in the bucket for their sales but I’ll get some personal satisfaction from them losing a couple thousand dollars for their worst in class store service.

I’ve never had to wait to purchase a product from Apple even through 13 years living in NYC with crowded stores and tourists galore. That was until this store. I’m sorry but waiting for an hour and 15m to BUY a product for which I required only minimal interaction (it was an iPad) was a non starter. This store wasted my time - infuriating. I will not return again and recommend you just shop online. Save yourself.

My husband and I both made appointments and we arrived right on time for my appt and he was 5 mins early. We waited aout 15mins and were approached by a tech for my husbands iPhone appt. My appt was earlier but he was helped first. About 10 mins later i was finally helped. We had 2 techs interacting with us and both were very friendly, professional, and courteous. My husbands appt took forever they ran diagnostics on his phone 3 diff times, cleaned his phone, and reset it before they finally moved on to replacing the screen. I on the other hand had to have my iPad replaced after running diagnostics, so my appt was handled in 25 mins. They told us what time his phone would be ready so we left to shop and came back. We let one of the employees know when we arrived again and within 5-10 mins they had the phone ready. Overall we were at the mall a lot longer than expected, but the fact that both of our issues were resolved in the same day was a huge relief.

I got to tell you this place is a madhouse! The cops everywhere make the situation feel apprehensive like somethings going on when there really isnt. You cant really tell whos an employee and whos a customer without invading someones space. Its a pretty odd business concept that I think Im going to avoid. Looks like a lot of simulating of legal process and civil intimidation that I dont want any part of. So if you want to buy this stuff in a normal place go to Best buy and you can have normal people in a normal situation without a bunch of cops staring at you with guns like you might be doing something wrong.

It definitely states in-store shopping is not available here in google. So Im not sure when was this updated but its always better to order online or just make an appointment if youre trying to go to a popular store especially on a pandemic.I got an order to pick up in the North Star Mall which is the nearest to my place. Everything is great. Professional and timely with the Express line pickup. I have no bad reviews going to the store but i have a disappointment with Apple itself.They should try to have a different shipping system that is reliable than FedEx. Theres a lot of bad reviews with them, but if youre still using their services you should make sure they hold up to your standard of delivery date. Time is of an essence here! Their chatbots are not even helpful.

7/5/2021I was surprised that the rating for the apple store was so low since it almost has a cult following. Well today I found out. I arrive at 10:10 to day and ask a question about why my apps had not transferred. The guy said it was because the information was not transferred the way Apple would have transferred it. There were very few people in the store but he said he could not help me but I needed to make an appointment to wipe it clean, delete the apps that I had loaded which was 4 and retransfer. He was confident and besides this is the APPLE store. Of course they know what they are talking about, right? I reworked my entire day because I had an appointment at 4:30 he said. I should be happy. No fun for me.I arrived back at apple and ways told to sit on the blocks. An arrogant young man arrived and said Ms. you want to Blah Blah Blah? I matched his energy and said I requested a female. He looked at me and said OH WoW. He looked at his i pad and I asked him to repeat what he had said because I did not understand it. He started speaking to me as if I was iterate. I thought let the games begin. I used to be a secret shopper for business, managed and own my own business and i would have never tolerated this behavior. He was struggling. He proceeded to tell me that the guy who had me come back was just a person trained to triage the people and they dont always know what they are talking about. Then he told me that what i had requested was not going to do anything. He picked up my phone after i logged in and started doing things. When I asked him what he was doing, he again was condescending and said that he was trying to help me with my questions. I informed him that I could not see what he was doing because of the security screen.He handed me my phone then I asked him the list of questions I had. He said, Lay your phone down I did because I wanted to see how for he would go to treat me like I shouldnt have questioned why I was told to come back if Apple could not help me with the new transfer.So much more happened that I am appalled about but I think what these are the people that Apple hires to help people. However I will conclude with his final statement to me. Coming into the store is not for you. You would be better served by call customer service support. We can help you here.Now I say WOW! I did not get his name but he referred to it as his store. Surely apple has a record of who helped me. Shame on apple. He recommended I also contact the people who sold me the phone. We get people who buy their phones elsewhere and come in hear for us to fix it. WOW.

Even though you are vaccinated and CDC guidance doesn’t require masks the stores security detail rudely engages you without masks on and demands you mask up. Let me be clear they had mask on but under their chins as I was arriving and after. They got a big kick and a laugh turning away a customer with money to spend. I took a pair of brand new Air Pods Pro to get a second opinion since another local store told me I had fake Air Pods. Rayen not only fixed the issue, but he was nice, attentive and very polite. The appointment ran on time and I had a working set of Air Pods when I left. I would definitely recommend them over the other Apple Store in the area.

A genius downgraded my system to Mountain Lion 10.8.5, and now I can no longer use Google Chrome or Firefox. I cant even open YouTube- the page says to update my browser..... no browsers are compatible anymore though. Cant even go on websites on Safari. These are new problems from after it was at the apple store. Any ideas on what I can do to solve this without returning to the apple store? Thanks 😊

Pretty nifty store, Im not really an apple brand guy but i did come here with my sister to get her iphone repaired. The employees were very quick and efficient getting things sorted and fixed for her. They have veeeery pretty tech products and their asthetic is top notch but their price to performance ratio is abysmal sadly.

On 3/13/2021, I placed an order (W758740499), on Apple.com. During checkout I was giving two choices for the order; mail devices to home by Tuesday, or Express Pickup @ local store (Apple North Star). The item was listed as available today, so I chose Express Pickup. A logical person would assume express pickup would mean, the item would be available to the purchaser sometime today, since the order was placed at 12pm noon. So about 3:30 I head to the mall, assuming, the device would shortly be available. I stop by the Apple store with my purchase information and was greeted kindly by manager Andy. Andy stated processing usually takes a couple of hours. I educated Andy, the order was made at noon and it was 4pm at time of discussion, which is 2 x couple of hours. Andy called some corporate number and stated he was advised the order was showing still processing, but to wait on the pickup email and ask for him once I receive it and I would not have to wait in the entrance line again. Well, its now the end of day two and the store closed already. I called Apple.com regarding my purchase, and the young lady who answered the call asked what she could help with and I explained I was calling to check the status of my purchase. She advised me to hold on and the next thing I heard was the automated system asking me to enter the extension of the person I was trying to reach. I hung up and had to call back and spoke with a male customer service rep the second time, who stated they were reviewing my payment information and it should be cleared up in the morning. I inquired why would they they need to review my payment information and for what concerns? He stated, sometimes there could be slight errors that are reviewed and have to be cleared. I educated that I was in the local store the day before and if any information needed to be verified, then that would have been the best time to verify any concerns. The truth is, all of this has been a load of crock. These are operational issues and apple has demonstrated that after a year of closure, no one was intelligent enough to have a reopening plan in place. They have demonstrated a failure to timely process orders and provide standard customer service; which is the bare minimum below good customer service. We knew they lost the vision of the company when Steve Jobs died, but it appears they dont even have leadership capable of reestablishing a functional operation. Instead of fixing the problem, they chose to treat consumers as if were all ignorant fools they can side track to cover their own failures. Ive cancelled this order and truly understand now, how the android market has come this far into taking over a market once ruled by Apple.

Im not an Apple guy. As a matter of fact, I have had Samsung Galaxy phones for as long as I can remember. That being said, I went here with my girlfriend to upgrade her phone the other day, and let me just say that the staff and the manager were absolutely incredible. They stayed with us for 30-45 minutes after the store closed just to make sure that everything was perfect for her with her new phone and watch. Ive been on the fence about making the switch to iPhone just because Andriod doesnt support ForeFlight, and I use it on a regular basis when Im flying. I do have an iPad specifically for this, but it would be nice to have it on my phone as well for a backup just in case. Needless to say, when the time comes for me to upgrade, I will be back.

Worst store ever!!Do not go there, they will sell you a phone and not transfer your old phone to new one. They tell you go home and do it yourself.Another friend took her phone in because it was freezing, they reset her phone, without her permission and told her that was the only way to fix it. She lost so much information she had on her phone!!!Still another friend went in to buy a new phone and girl helping kept telling her, do you want one or not.ENOUGHThese people don’t want to work anymore, FIRE THEM and hire people who do want to work.And where the h... is manager, in the back of store sleeping!!!!

Extremely helpful and respectful staff. We waited about 5-10 minutes to get in the store since they were making sure each guest had staff dedicated to them and the store didn’t get too crowded. They also were constantly wiping down phones and device areas. We were told to stay on one side of the table while the staff stayed on the opposite side for social distancing. They had a separate line out front for online order pickup. Two security guards out front. We were there the day of the iPhone 12 pro max and mini releases.

Worst shopping experience ever. Like I needed another reason to dislike Apple. If you come to this store expect to wait HOURS. Expect to watch people who get there after you somehow get to go in front of you. They direct people less efficiently than a drunk, blindfolded Mickey Mouse. The one plus side is they will tell you Thank You once theyre finally done making you stand in 4 different lines.My Samsung is better anyway.

My iPhone was not letting me update iOS. After someone troubleshooted with me over the phone without any luck, I was given an appt to come into the store for repair the very next day. Took 10 minutes for them to download the latest iOS at no charge. I was happy to get in and out in so quickly.

Had an appointment simple phone replacement, called to make sure they had it in stock. They kept passing me on to people then after about an hour of just sitting there by myself watching other people they come to tell me they don’t have it I’ll have to come back in a week. He went absolutely above and beyond with customer service and I have never been happier with my experience at any other Apple Store. I had unique issues that needed to be solved and Martin, one of the store managers was also extremely helpful. Ok. Made appointment online to get my Mac fixed and it went smoothly. However I couldnt look at computers in store which unfavorable. Too bad cause I was looking to possibly walk out with a new one that night.

Since covid. They have tons of security guards. Which i understand this time of year. But some security guards can be rude. Dont get me wrong the staff was nice and answered our questions.

So appt at 330, horrible line, have appts but still make you wait in line...then had some guy put two other people before me ha lol, its lovely. WHY SET APPTS IF GOING TO MAKE WAIT N LINE...SHOULD TAKE UR APPTS 1ST THEN THOSE WHOM DO NOT HAVE APPTS GET N THE LINE . But Ill tell you This I did get GREAT SERVICE SO I REALLY CANT COMPLAIN ON THAT,.HELPED ME OUT ALOT WERE FRIENDLY N SMILES Behind the Mask, So thank u for being on it Customer service wise 🤩

I dropped off my MacBook Pro and was told it would take 3-5 days to replace the dead battery. It ended up taking nearly a month. When I brought up my displeasure with this to the apple representative during pickup, he went into an explanation that their repair facility was closed and that other repairs have also been taking longer. I won’t be coming back to this store again. Long wait times just to be seen, poor customer service, and an unpleasant experience overall. At least the products are top notch.
