Compared to other thrift stores Texas Thrift is by far the best. The prices may be a bit higher on some things but are still very reasonable considering the work they put in to separate and categorize everything to make shopping simpler. Im in and out in 30 minutes and always satisfied. Bought an awesome steam mop with attachments for less than $30. Love it!!

Huge store with convenient and spacious parking...visible from Interstate. Plethora of used clothing choices for the entire family at reasonable prices.

Prices are way too high in almost every area. Clothing prices are ridiculous. Housewares are over priced, and the old and ugly furniture It’s not reasonably priced. You will find better bargains on Facebook marketplace. Don’t waste your time at this thrift store or most of the other ones in this town. I don’t know who is in charge of pricing, but it isn’t consistent and it’s way too high.

The company itself deserves a 0 star! They have their workers out there in 100+ degree heat and by what I’ve seen and asked never do they provide water or any way of keeping cool. These people obviously need their jobs and no A/C or any care is ever given to them. At some of the donation stations there isn’t even a shade to stand under. It’s horrible working conditions. This company makes a lot of money but obviously CEOs are getting paid really well and the people at the bottom get scraps. Don’t be fooled by them, your donations don’t go to what they say they do. I was one that used to donate here but stopped when I started doing research on this company. -just my 2 cents.

Okay first time I stopped here everything was going good until I was checking out something didnt have a $ tag on it . So the cashier called the supervisor Scarlett. Instead of going back to the racks and checking the actual price for the item. The supervisor Scarlett decides to make any & invent the price on the top of her head for that item.. I asked her why so much. She tells me that it depends on the item and the material. I refuse the item but I felt like she was just trying to rip me off. This being a donation center from kind-hearted people. Their items are getting sold for triple the value. Case in point the supervisor Scarlett. Ill never stop here again. No thank you

I used to love shopping there, but they took the dressing rooms out! All those clothes and you cant try them on. Not going back.

Hands down my favorite thrift shop in town. I am not from San Antonio but a regular visitor. BEST prices. Great and endless selection of clothing. I always find multiple pieces for dirt cheap.

Love to go looking for goodies in here. They have a wide variety to chose from and its well organized with fair prices.

This place is massive and pretty clean! It gets points for that. I am removing a star because the quality of clothing is really sub-par. LOTS of Forever 21 type clothing, just really cheaply made. I likely will not return to this Texas Thrift.

This is always a must stop every time we go through San Antonio. We never fail to find several good deals not only for us but also extended family members. There is always An excellent selection of almost every category of household items you can think of.

Refused to sell a small plastic bug to a child that had carried it around the store the whole trip because it didn’t have a price on it and “The people that price things are gone for the day” at 4:30 in the afternoon. No dressing rooms and, if it doesn’t fit, exchange only. Nope, not shopping here again.

The biggest Texas thrift store Ive ever been to. Very clean and organized, staff was polite as well.

We love shopping here for our familys clothes. They have an amazing selection for all ages and genders. It is categorized by size and type of clothes from baby clothes to even plus sizes. We have bought brand new pieces with their original price tags and their price is at least 50% of that. We like to shop during their holiday sales and on Wednesdays for military day (30% off).

Rude… spent 2 hours and found some really cute stuff but the customer service was so bad ended up leaving with nothing.

I hve found some great furniture pieces here!

Came in 20 minutes before close, and was told 10 minutes until close. Five minutes later (and Ill add every 2 minutes after that until close) the same lady screams 15 minutes til close. We asked to purchase or hold a $60 item and were told no problem we could hold it a week. The same lady was dancing and singing and we didnt feel confident. We were then told by the manager that wasnt true and we had to make a purchase prior to the store close and take it home. Needless to say, this store and management dont know what is happening and dont care what is happening.

I shop there about once a month. I needed to buy work pants on a budget. The quality of clothes are in good to great condition. I found a few dolls that are very unique 😸 and always happy when the cashier tells me the final price.

This place is one that we will drive across town to shop at just because they seem to have a more welcoming staff and it’s more organized than the rest. The only reason it’s not a five is because their selection for men’s is very limited.

Large selection of clothes kitchen gadgets and furniture i would highly recommend going especially if you are looking to save some money very reasonably priced items and willing to negotiate.

This location is definitely larger than other locations and I have no complaints on the organization and cleanliness of this location, however, the prices are more expensive at this location. I noticed a lot of clothing that was possibly from H&M? Same brand “Divided” and most items had tags or stickers still on. The prices on these items were the same as they were when I saw them at H&M. Household goods seemed a little pricier as well.

Texas thrift is a lot like going fishing. Sometimes you get lucky, and sometimes you get skunked. Prices are thrift store ok. Sometimes they are approaching retail. Typical supply of used kitchen appliances and paraphernalia. Large selection of clothes. They usually have big sales on major holidays. Up to 50 percent off. Go early on those days.

Used to be a good place to find bargains, but now the prices are almost as high as new! $38 for a worn out duffel bag? $22 for a rusty toaster? $24 for a dented canvas print from Ross? Just greedy considering they get their inventory from FREE donations.

The line and wait time was ridiculously long, I stood there for about an hour and still might have had about another hour to go.

Bad merchandise and very high prices. They should become more accessible. Everything they have is donated.

They are constantly cleaning, the bathrooms are old but definately clean. I had trouble finding tops in my size, but I am big. There are lots of nice clothes for small women. I found some scrub pants, which is what I was looking for.
