Went in hopes to find an issue that other places did not have. They thought they didnt have it so was going to order it for me...luckily though they found the issue their last copy!!!The woman there was so nice and helpful she was probably the one of the friendliest people I have met working at a comic shop in a while! I will be going back!

This place has the most inventory of comics and figurines out of any store in San Antonio that Ive seen with the possible selection of heroes and fantasies. Its definitely worth a stop of youre into anime/manga/comics/etc. Nice staff as well.

Great little hole in the wall cor comic books. They even sell a selection of figures from different media.The staff are super friendly and easy to have conversations with.Gonna definitely take my comic book friends there when I get the chance.

The store has a really good selection of collectibles, and pretty fair prices. Unfortunately the comic back issue section was just an absolute unorganized mess that made it very difficult to look through everything.Id like to go back, and hopefully then itll be a little more organized.

Best kept secret in San Antonio collectibles. You can get old and new comics, Funko Pops, Marvel and DC comics and novels. Just an amazing place for anyone who buys collectibles. Every item is in amazing shape and you can spend hours there and never finish a quarter of the shops items. Too many comics for sale and its near 410.

Have a million comics but they dont order independent books. The store is a mess if you dont like clutter or have ocd stay away

Very cool comic book and statue shop. It overflows with figures, statues, and comics. If your a collector you will love the atmosphere this place gives off. The best prices around for collectibles in San Antonio hands down. They will not charge you 15 or 10 over the going rate for an item. Will be coming here a lot more often. Im so glad I found this little gem. Thank you GDC for a offering such a good service and putting the customers first.

The guy that works there knows what he’s doing. He’s friendly, answers questions without attitude, goes out of his way to help you look for an issue, all around this guy gots class. I will definitely be shopping here too!

Awesome store...Great inventory of comics, Funko and figures.. Employees were a great help and very knowledgeable. They even have a $5 Funko wall...I cant say enough good things about this gem

Great place tons of comics, for somebody like me the hunt and finding rare gems is always worth the trip. Staff is always friendly just a cool place.

Amazing selection and variety of comics and more! Major downside is the lack of space for all the comics inside the space. Area can become quite cramped at times. Employees are friendly and professional; nice stop for any collector.

Discovered this place a few weeks ago when I moved in to the area. First visit was pleasant enough - although they werent enforcing social distancing protocol at all, even making light of current events in conversation. But man, they do have an aweome selection of stuff.Went again today with the intention of buying a figure I saw my previous visit.Showed up, picked out the figure and was ready to buy. Was told to wait while they gathered online orders I assume? Not too sure.Either way I was pretty much ignored for 10 minutes or so before leaving.Got in my car and ordered the same item off Amazon for about $6 bucks less and it will be here Thursday.I know times are scary and everyone needs to be careful so when someone makes the effort to venture out to try and support a local business then please dont ignore them.

The owner is super friendly and has a good staff behind him. Also, their location is great since there aren’t too many comic/toy shops in the area. Definitely worth stopping by.

First time I walked into the store. The owner Robert was cool and welcomed me to his store. He had the comic that I had been looking for all week. I definitely will be back. I was impressed on how organized the store is.

My boyfriend loves this place (I get dragged here often). It’s tiny and the owner has A LOT of comics and POPS. He’s extremely helpful if you need to find something and answers all questions you may have, like when the next shipment for POPS is coming in. It’s cool if you’re looking for a place to collect or just to pick up a gift for your nerdy friends :)

This is a great location as their overall product selection is huge! I am not one to visit comic book stores, but I spent over an hour just looking at their items. The staff here are extremely helpful and possess a great deal of knowledge. Great location for gifts for those friends who love comic books and super heroes.

A collectors shop for sure. Big space crammed with comics and collectibles, clearly other collectors scour the shelves regularly but there is still order to the chaos lite. Prices are solid and selection is great. Good mix of vintage, classic, and recent toys and comics. Great POP! Funko spread. And employee was extremely knowledgeable.

Awesome Hidden hole in the wall collecters shop major variety in pops statues and figures. Even the some really hard to find ones. Only Downside I see is the place is small and cramped. They have tons of toys. Old and new. Boxed and loose. Action figures, Model kits, statues, pops, comics. This place is packed with so much stuff and they are priced to sell. Great prices. Will definitely come back.

Gravity Damage is awesome! Not a lot of space in the store but they pack in the merchandise. But the best part is the customer service. They will greet you by name and do their best to meet whatever your needs are. They offer free subscriptions and board+bag everything. Sometimes they dont quite order enough books on release so make sure you get in early on Wednesdays or else you risk not getting some books. Or start a subscription and they take care of the rest.

They dont inflate the cost of back issues that are less than a year old, they dont charge for bag and board, and they hook you up with self sealing bags. I enjoy giving them my money over the other comic shops.

The selection here is great. The staff was very helpful in helping me find what I was looking for and providing information on future releases.

Cool place..lots of fun

I had visit other Comic stores in San Antonio. And by far this is my favorite. The staff is courteous and friendly. Place is clean even tho is a bit cramp due to all the items they have in stock. Still, is organize, and is just a awesome store.

Great place. Well stocked. The owner is a great guy. Sets up subscriptions and bags and boards everything. New spot in town for your comic fix. Great service, good location on Babcock and Huebner. Always a good crowd. No gaming room either. I do not like going to a comic shop and finding a D&D spot running the majority of the space, as with most places. Very clean, and great prices. Owner will text you individually when your orders come in. Definitely the comic source for San Antonio.

Really great space, everything new & perfectly organized. Was expecting sorta thrift store experience but everything is boxed, neatly sorted and high quality figures no toys.

This is an awesome store, packed full of comics, Pops!, action figures, statues, and a lot of very nice collectibles! I priced checked some of their statues and the pricing is very reasonable compared to other outlets such as Amazon. If youre a collector you should definitely give this place a shot. The staff is very friendly also.

Really cool place. Perfect for nerds, its awesome and got a ton of stuff, from collectibles to comic books. But if youre looking for RPG stuff, like for Dungeons and Dragons, look elsewhere. You wont regret a trip to this place, regardless.

Solid store with tons of options. Back issues were organized and there were an abundance of graded books. Will definitely visit again.

Highly recommend Gravity for comics and figures as well as overall customer service. Theyre a solid contribution to the Culture. I personally have a sub box and they always take care of me.

I literally come here at least once a week. This is one of my favorite places to be. They have a huge variety of everything and the owner is always super nice and friendly.

I was curious about the new store and was diappointed to find that when I got there the owner was locking up. But when I asked him a question about the store he opened it back up and gave me a tour, answered my questions, and then gave me a free copy of the new walking dead. Very cool.The place looks great and was packed with stuff. Ill be back.

Nice selection however this store is very disorganized when regarding comic books. They definitely need to get the ball rolling as many comic books are getting bent and damaged. Therefore making it not very appealing to purchase as anyone in the comic book collector knows that condition is king.

Great selection of tabletop and board games in particular. Good selection of comics. 6 private gaming rooms. They were friendly and helpful.

Excellent inventory from back issues to recent books. One example of is I was able to go back from issue 9 of a book (old man Hawkeye) to issue 2. They have too much inventory sometimes and you cant look thru the back issues.

I am an old school comic geek going back to waiting each month for Secret Wars to come out and I have seen a lot of good and bad comic stores. Gravity Damage is great. Good and diverse selection as well as friendly without being weird or pretentious. If you have been to a lot of comic stores you know what I mean. Also great storage supplies to preserve your treasures. I have been out of the comic circles for years and Gravity Damage has pulled me back in.

First off, I have to say Mr. Bill is an excellent owner, and his customer service is amazing. He remembers everyones names and is super helpful with all of our obscure questions( and is very patient with situating personal orders and requests)In regards to the building itself, the layout is packed from floor to ceiling with awesome collectibles and has pretty much anything you could want. All the comic titles are well organised and in great condition. He also bags and boards new titles at no extra cost to the customer. Gravity damage is by far my favorite and most reliable comic shop in San Antonio.

This was my first time visiting gravity damage and I enjoyed every minute of it. They had a wide variety of comic books and pops and all other kinds of cool stuff

This is the best comic shop in San Antonio. Their pop prices are amazing. Rhwy have alot of chases too and the price is very good and fair. Very clean and organize. Definitely recommend!!!!

Great place, great prices, great product. My only concern is the employees are a bit on the older side and while they are totally competent, may not relay visually what the stores is all about.
