We found CD sam’s about 2 months ago. It is on the second floor of Wonderland Mall among these little flea market like shops. It is a small store, but filled with amazing rare items!! Just yesterday, my son found a rare record by Jon Anderson called Olías of Sunhollow from 1976. It was a reissue specially made for Record Day. Only 1200 made in the world!! It had a price tag of $44.99, but since the owner saw that we wanted it so much, he let us buy it for only $20!!! And he has always charged lower than the price tag says on other items.We are now lifelong CD Sam customers!!!

Great place for all things vinyl, posters, shirts, and more. They offer a wide selection including my personal favorites bands/artists from 1970s-early 2000s. As well as current artists and bands.

CD Sam is probaly the nicest, friendliest record store owner in town. He always does his best to talk to all of the customers. If you let him know what your intrested in, he will do his best to see if it is in stock or order it. Check the stores hours before you head over, he is only open on the weekends. He carries more of the popular new releases, but there is also a section worth digging through. The store is in a convenient location inside the old crossroads mall. You can catch a movie at the Bijou or get a pizza from goombas.

Always a pleasure swinging by here! The dude is rock solid to his Vinyl family. Cant say customers because he definitely goes beyond your typical customer service. Thank you for keeping the tracks alive in SA.

This place was pretty cool, they had tons of vinyl and the prices werent outrageous. I only wish that maybe one day they can get a bigger store and better displays. The staff was friendly and let you browse without issue.

Great selection of CDs here, but of course, needs more death metal. Also, this place desperately needs more reggaetón and Latin pop CDs.

Excellent Black Friday sale today. Very well organized. Everyone was required to wear a mask and they limited entry to five people at a time and 10 minutes shopping so everyone had a fair shot. Plan on going back when I can spend more time and money. Lol.

This place is fantastic I always spend money when I’m here. The owner is friendly and greatly knowledgeable in music of different genres. With the new expansion there is a lot more room now. If you love music be prepared to spend some time going through all the crates of vinyl. Feel free to ask them to play an album as you are looking, Sam is so accommodating. Definitely my favorite album store in San Antonio.

CD Sam always has great selection and prices. The owner is also very helpful and attentive to all his customers.

The guy working here is really nice and funny but he did make me climb on a unsteady chair to get a patch down because none of us could reach it. Maybe they should keep a ladder around just in case. The store was clean, purchase was fast and a lot of the records, VHS and artwork are decent prices. They also have a nice rewards program where if you buy 5 things you get something for free or you could get a good discount off certain records. The record variety isnt that huge but you could still find some nice items.

I’ve been coming to this record store for a while now. Ever since the first day, Sam is so welcoming and very polite. He has a great selection from Vinyl, cassettes, 45s, CDs, DVDs, VHS and more. He also gives discounts almost every single time and gives you stamps on his card he gives you when you purchase something. Awesome store and owner.

Admittedly a small shop. However, I found a very good and diverse selection there. Both new and old records available. Very friendly and helpful salesman. I will most definitely be shopping here again and highly recommend it.

This is a vinyl records repository deluxe!Records, the things that go round, kind of like a CD, but different. Edison invented the things. Not just Analog, but Mechanical in nature! Worth the visit if only to see vintage in action! Yes, they have a record player. Enjoy!

Occasionally he has something worthwhile, but everything is VERY OVERPRICED. Has some cool pop culture stuff for sale, that’s about it. NO 45’s...everything this guy has you can find elsewhere for a fraction

CD Sam is a great place to find CDs, DVDs, BluRay and Vinal. His prices are very reasonable, and the quality of his merchandise is fantastic. He checks every DVD going out and will clean any that need it and does scratch repair.

This is such a great place for anybody who wants a physical copy of music and media whether it be cassette, vinyl, cd, dvd, and even blu-ray. I went there for my birthday, and i found everything that i was looking for including too fast for love, jailbreak, bark at the moon, and get lucky, but they also have other genres like tejano, pop, and rap as well, this is a great place and i cant wait to come again!

Ive called for 2 days now, each at different times, had my mom and 2 of my friend also call on different occasions JUST to ask one damn question and EVERY SINGLE TIME I called it went to voicemail. Very disappointing. Ill take my friends and my business elsewhere.
