The oat milk latte was one of the worst we ever tried. The best part of this place is not the coffee drinks but the outside patio. I still think that Merit (Local) is the one of best when it comes to non-dairy milk coffee latte.

Super friendly staff, interesting menu, delicious coffee, and light breakfast snacks (pastries, etc.). If you want a refreshing local break from chain coffee shops, this is your spot.

Every time I go to San Antonio, Texas I have to go to summer moon best dam ice coffee and hot chocolate milkshake I have ever had.

I have been going to this summer moon since they opened and this is by far the best coffee shop I have ever been to!! The Coffee is amazing and 2nd to none but the staff is why I love this place so much! I worked customer service for a big insurance company for over 8 years and the qualities that these Baristas have are top level in customer service. Sofia being one of them she remembers my name every time just by my order!! It’s the little extra things that really make a customers experience and that’s something I get every time so thank y’all very much!!!

I only dropped in for a to-go order. I liked to vibes and atmosphere. Will dine in one day to get a full experience.

My wife and I saw this place about a month ago and just had time this last weekend to stop by. My wife had a dirty chai and I had A moon milk latte. In my opinion this is how espresso should taste. We will definitely be returning very soon.

Summer moon is hands down my favorite place to grab a coffee in town. The staff at every location in San Antonio that Ive been to have been incredibly sweet even when super busy. This is a good study spot also, as the wifi is very fast. I could not recommend this place enough! ps the iced mocha moon w oatmilk is my go-to, so yummy!

I can honestly say the half moon iced latte is hands down the best iced coffee I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried them all. I have to drink decaf but most places either don’t do decaf espresso or when they do, it tastes like watered down, weak coffee. Not here! The coffee was strong, their cream was actually creamy and the half moon wasn’t too bitter or too sweet. Definitely recommend! I can finally say I’ve found something better than Starbucks which is always hit or miss on getting the right drink or having it made right. I paid $5 for a 20 ounce which is perfectly reasonable. Other places charge close to $8 to make a super delish drink like this. My new iced coffee spot for sure.

Great hand-crafted coffee with their signature Summer Moon sweet cream. I like my coffee semi-sweet so they advised half Summer Moon cream and half mocha sauce, and its perfect. I also love the idea that the coffee is wood fire roasted and not electrically roasted.

Their coffee is so good! They roast their coffee beans over and open flame. I do love their lattes (I order the 1/4 moon..if I want it sweeter I go up to 1/2 moon or summer moon per the moon milk) and they help if you have any questions. Their MOON milk is to die for. (7 secret ingredients sweet cream ) I buy my moon milk to make my coffee at home. Recommended!

We came here this morning for the first time. They gave us some recommendations since we are new. I got the 1/4 moon milk and hubbs got it as a 1/2 since he likes it sweeter. They were both deeeeeelicious! The girls working were definitely busy but everyone we talked to was very patient. well be back :)

Love, love, love! Their wood/fired roasted coffee seems to be less acidic than other roasters in the area (Cough SBucks, dough Meritt CC) and that is right up my alley. Everyone that works here is so so friendly. The pastries/kolaches they bring in are delish. The moon milk is so delicious and original. Definitely stop at Summer Moon if you are reading this review to decide.I’d recommend a ‘007 (espresso + moon milk) or a Blue Moon (moon milk latte with lavender syrup).

*This review is for my fellow decaf peeps!*The coffee is amazing, I’ll say that. However.. the girl at the drive thru on 6/5 around 4:45pm was incredibly snotty and rude. I ordered my drink as *half decaf* with an extra shot of *decaf* (as I do almost every morning) bc I’m extremely sensitive to caffeine. It gives me terrible physical symptoms and I’ve been instructed by a doctor to have very little caffeine, hence the decaf. I got through half of my drink before my heart started racing like crazy so I threw it away but it was already too late.. the symptoms lasted for HOURS. I can always tell when coffee is fully caffeinated. It’s safe to assume all of the shots were caffeinated as I’ve NEVER had this reaction any other time I’ve gotten coffee from here. When people ask for DECAF, there is a legit reason for it, and sometimes it’s medically related. Maybe if this girl hadn’t been so snotty and miserable, she would have heard *decaf*. Never again. Hoping this never happens to anyone else.

Love the smokey flavor of the wood fired coffee! Velvet blaze is definitely my favorite, and if you like cold coffee try the moon expresso milkshake.

I just found this play a little over a week ago and have already been back 3 times even though the location is COMPLETELY out of my way. The staff is extremely friendly, and are happy to answer any questions you have about their coffee. When I went to Summer Moon the first time, they offered to let me taste their moon milk, which is one of the special things they do here and it was FANTASTIC. I typically dont like my coffee too sweet, but the Summer Moon Latte was the PERFECT amount of sweetness. I have since tried the Half-Moon Latte (AMAZING if you dont want something as sweet as their Summer Moon), and the Winter Moon, which is the iced Summer Moon Latte. All were fantastic and I highly recommend!

Very good, easy to drink coffee. Id recommend this place for a good pick-me-up when the day starts to get to you.

The Coffee is one of the best I have ever had, but we are going to have to give 3 stars today because each time I come by I am asked if I want to leave a TIP making me and others uncomfortable. As a long time server in the day, you dont ask for tips they are earned, especially if you are not getting server pay, that it is typically 50% of the minimum wage, hence why its so important to get tips. I hope that Summer Moon management sees this post, because though I will continue to buy the coffee because its that good, I will give updates of the continued uncomfortable situation they put people in.

A friend took me here today, hes a big fan and now I know why. We got the summermoon coffee I believe, he got hot and I got mine cold. Ill definitely be comming back.

My family loves the coffee and Vegan food items at Summer Moon. But I MUST say we were recently very disappointed to see the staff not wearing masks or gloves. In times like this it is not worth the risk to our health to visit an establishment that doesn’t see the importance in protecting their staff or customers. Please do better 🙏🏼

I gave this store 3 stars because of two things, the workers and the layout.If you’re looking for a summer moon with summer moon drinks then this will be a great choice. They make all the drinks (pretty) well. However, the workers at 6 in the morning were obviously a little tired, which is understandable, but they didn’t flash a smile or go above and beyond anything. The layout as well is a little strange, the espresso machine is obviously too high which will decrease the overall effectiveness of the workers. 3 of the chairs at the middle table is also too short for anyone to sit comfortably. There’s also no menu at the back of the bar area, just paper menus.

So glad I visited this coffee shop! The baristas were absolutely awesome and took the time to explain to me and one other first time visitor the details of the menu, our choices and made recommendations based on preferences. Pro tip: anything on the menu with the word Moon Milk you have to try! It is the sweetest and creamiest addition to any beverage whether hot or cold that it would almost be rude to not even try. Fortunately for me, I live in the apartments adjacent and me and my family will be making this our regular chill spot. Kudos to the founders for finding the perfect, soothing treat for its customers.

This is the best coffee Ive ever tried, and I jump at every chance to try them all! They make an in house creamer called moon milk, a buttery- sweet creamer. Delicious. Good place to study. You should come check it out!

This place was amazing. I was having a meeting here and it was perfect. No loud music, we didnt have to raise our voices to talk to one another. It was really great.

The staff was totally helpful, courteous and extremely friendly. It was my first time at Summer Moon and I was helped through the menu. I will most definitely be coming back. I have converted from Starbucks to Summer Moon, and bringing my friends with me. The hot summer moon was suggested and was exactly what I needed, with an extra dose of espresso of course

I don’t like overly sweet coffee so the 1/4 moon latte was perfect for me. Very tasty and no burnt coffee grounds after-taste like Starbucks. Will be back when I’m in the area!

Sandwiches are delicious. Staff are nice however, we repeated our order twice and the rep still got the order wrong. Nevermind, my husband ate it without complaint and enjoyed it. The restroom is DISGUSTING! Paper all over the floor, wet spots throughout! Youd think since the traffic is minimal die to covid, they could keep up with the maintenance.

Summermoon is my all-time favorite for coffee. I usually order the 1/2 moon or 1/2 wintermoon. They also have gluten free & vegan options for pastries. The baristas are really friendly and the location is fairly quiet which makes it a great place to study!

Had the 12 oz drip with 1/4 moon milk and it was delicious! They let me sample the seasonal as well and equally good.
