Such a great place. Great coffee, great pastries and great atmosphere. The owners are AMAZING, they are very personable and great at what they do. They care about the consumers and the community and refuse to be anything short of authentic. They will literally give you the shirt off their backs and make you the meanest cup of joe you’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend to a friend and 10/10 wish everyone could enjoy this little treasure.
This hidden gem is worth seeking out. Ive been here 3 times in 2 weeks and have enjoyed each experience. This cool hangout is small, but mighty in good conversation and flavor. Definitely try the mocha. Also enjoy the onslaught of great meat smells as you enter the building. Gold shares the building to a BBQ joint.
My partner and I are sort of dirty chai connoisseurs and their Holiday in Cambodia is the best version of a dirty chai either of us have ever had.The vibes in there are great too. There are a lot of mom and pop joints out there but this one, for some reason, feels more like a mom and pop than anywhere else.You gotta try it
I love coming to this place! I bike ride here with my buddies like every other weekend, we get some delicious brew. Staff is super nice and friendly. Great back patio to talk and relax in. I wear my mask, they wear theirs, what more could you ask for in this world? The pie is delicious too!! I could go on and on. Go here for good coffee!!

Gold coffee is one of a kind. Jason and Stephanie are the owners and it’s always awesome to chat with them while you enjoy the brew. Great drink selection and good tunes. Sometimes you can bring a record and take it up to the next level. The venue they’re in is a cool spot, too. They’re surrounded by artists and bbq. Could you ask for any more?
My go to coffee shop when visiting San Antonio.1. The coffee is great. Im pretty hooked on getting a cinnamon honey latte. (Iced or hot are both great)2. The service is the best around. They always make it a point to make conversations. Meaningful conversations, not your typical ask the question youre required to ask your customer.3. The owners are typically in shop which shows you they really care about their small business.Shop Local Yall. Stick it to the man! Lol
Me and my family were worried through the whole lockdown that GOLD wouldnt make it through the lock down. We drink a lot of local coffee but this is by far our favorite! the COFFEE, not the all the stuff we add to it but the coffee itself, is SO DELICIOUS!! Staff is great, the owner or manager, not sure, recognized my husband by his drink order after not having been in over a year! So definitely 5 stars on the service! Atmosphere is great, service is fast and friendly, couldnt ask for more. Better than Starbucks any day.
After hearing the buzz about this place, I finally was able to come check it out in December and I haven’t looked back. The owners, Jason and his wife, are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and make outstanding coffee beverages. I have to go well out of my way to make it to Gold but it’s always worth it! Come them out the next time you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

Six stars if I could. First, the coffee is phenomenal and the single origin is amazing. The shop environment is welcoming, and they’ve made themselves part of the community. It’s a craft coffee spot without the pretentiousness of being one. It feels like a neighborhood coffee shop because it truly is. Get the cortado with oat milk. You’re welcome.

With a coffee slinger/dj, how could you not have an awesome experience?Had about 2 cortados and 2 lattes and they were perfect. Most people would add sweetner but here, not necessary; the coffee is so perfectly dialed in that its unnecessary (hence my 4 cups of java).The space and vibe are super chill. The tunes are dope. Speaking of, if you have vinyl, bring it; Jason is a fan and hell spin it for you while your sip on your liquid gold.

Small shop with friendly staff. Always like to support local and the only knock on the whole deal is the lack of a menu to look at prior to arrival and even on arrival. Latte was delicious and staff was helpful in making suggestions.
GOLD coffee is the best coffee shop in the city. Not only do they serve top notch coffee from Cat and Cloud, but the owners make you feel like family. They’ve cultivated and created a welcoming and loving environment for all to enjoy. Full espresso bar menu with great cold brew options. I promise you won’t be disappointed. The shop is always jamming with some fun music. They also have merch options that you’ll want to buy because they create some fun stuff from mugs to sweatshirts. What are you waiting for? Head down to Gold! I mean chocolate cherry notes from the spro should be enough.

Great energy, great customer service! I noticed with the frequent customer, the barista knew them by name and had great personal connections. I was new to this placed learned about this place from one my riders (Uber) I wasn’t treated any differently. The “London Calling” was new and fresh. I will definitely come back to try other items. I wanted to try the food options but they didn’t have them probably since today was their second anniversary and extremely busy. They move quickly so I didn’t wait very long.

Some of the best coffee in SA and absolutely the best atmosphere. Jason, the owner is a one man show making sure that coffee and conversation alike are top notch, approachable and centered around a genuinely inclusive atmosphere. No official menu means the coffee is centered around a one on one conversations, great customer service and the perfect drink to complement your day. No judgment on the sweet stuff either. Try the homemade hotcakes sauce and try not to fall in love with the aura of this place.

That kind of agility seen at Gold is the productive logical conclusion after watching previous cafes in San Antonio. Excellent execution of beverages and solid pastries. After working in coffee for two years in this city, without a doubt the best that anywhere offers in consistent customer service, coffee execution, and a space for the people there. Could nitpick and say why his macchiato is as good as his drip, is as good as his mixed berry poptart, but the cafe space hits on so many levels, speeds, and feelings. Please go. They cater to the customer and professional with pristine care.
