This Walmart is one of the best for a quick trip. This location can get busy but overall, I do not think I have ever seen it as busy as the others around town. This Walmart seems smaller than the average Walmart Supercenters, but they still have everything you could ever need and then some. From groceries and home items, to the pharmacy and the garden section. There is also a vision center located across from the checkout aisles. This Walmart is very well kept and clean. To conclude your shopping, they have Subway on the way out!

The door greeter needs to be trained in politeness. She was extremely rude when asking to see a receipt on the way out. I understand thats her job but no need to be rude about it!

I live out of state, I ordered from pick up for my daughter. When it was time to check in, I was having problems with my app and wasnt allowing me to check her in. I called the pick up department four times, but never got anyone to answer. I called the main store and the phone kept ringing, until someone hung up on me. Is anyone at the store working? Not everyone who calls lives in the same city and state. Finally, after almost 20 minutes, my daughter got someone to bring her her order. Not to forget to mention, but told daughter that she didnt check in. Are freaking kidding me?! Well, duh!! Which is why I was calling to check her in in the first place. 😑

Went to purchase roller skates as birthday gifts for neice and nephew. They only had skates for boys at this location. My niece was disappointed but picked another gift. 07/25/21.

They need to hire someone for the paint area. Pressed the assistance button twice and no one showed up 30 minutes. Went to ask someone and Im pretty sure the guy didnt even know where he was much less someone to help me

We were treated by the most respectful sales person. I appreciated that he explained everything in detail he also mentioned we could finance our purchase if we wanted, he proceeded with the application we were approved and that was that he picked the tires, the sales person told us it would be about an he so we waited by the time we new it he called our name and they called my husbands name and he walked us to the cashier and that was that. We greatly appreciate the salesperson that helped us he did a great job. So we say to him Than you and may you have a Wonderful and Blessed day full of Joy and Happiness. Amen

Some stock was low or out completely. Some spices, some bottled tea. Not too bad. The store is smaller which is easier to navigate. Good selection of stuff other than the low stock things in grocery. Its kept up decently and the interactions I had with workers were pleasant. Id go back to this location for sure.

If you stop here be prepared to spend more time in line waiting to pay then actually shopping. Have been to this Walmart multiple times since its the closest one to me, but it Never has more than 1 Register open. Its crazy that you can see up to 4 employees standing at the door checking receipts but none can open a Register or even help the ridiculously long self check out line .Multi Million dollar company yet you never find an employee except when your exiting the store 🤦‍♀️

Staff were nice and helpful. Greeted on the way in. Staff member helped me find what I needed by walking me to where I needed be. Very nice all around. Store looked as clean as possible too.

I have always gone to this Walmart, I am comfortable and I usually almost find what I am looking for, but there is never any available cashiers,and the self check out is always full,, and the staff working in the ladies dept are always rude when you ask them a question, one incident I had was I went to this store around 10:50pm and I was looking for some makeup items I asked an older lady who was fixing the clothes if she could help me in the makeup dept she said sure and then as we were walking she blurted out to me that thats why I should come earlier and not wait until the end of day😨 I was like excuse me!! People dont care about customer service anymore..

This store was very clean and the the employees are friendly. They always had a smile and were helpful when I couldnt find something. This particular store had some extra things the store by my house doesnt, so we drive here for the specific items we like.

My favorite location by far! The store is very well maintained along with very friendly staff and security. The pharmacy is on point with getting prescriptions out in a timely manner. Store shelves are always properly stocked. The parking lot is safe from all riff raff I see at many of the other Walmarts. Highly recommend this location!!!

This is the only Walmart neat me that always has what I need in stock. They have the friendliest door greeter ever. She makes you feel welcomed to the store. I wish I knew her name. But shes always there in the mornings.

This is the store in my neighborhood so this is the walmart I always go to. I never have a problem with the staff but it is a smaller store so they dont always have what I need. My biggest complaint is that an hour before closing the only registers open are self checkout. This wasnt posted anywhere its just been my experience lately. So if I need to get cigarettes for my husband I cant. Also if Ive gotten to the store before 10pm and Ive been shopping for awhile I dont want to take my full basket to self checkout! Maybe its because Im very pregnant but its very annoying. If this is the new policy Im not surprised but if its just this store Im disappointed. Also Im going to start going a little farther up the road to HEB now.

We had an online order ready for pickup at curbside. The moment I checked in and called I was immediately helped. The girl (whose name I ridiculously forgot to get) was super friendly and helpful. She ran our items out to us quickly even though I offered to go inside and pick it up from her. She is younger, tattoos, dark shoulder length hair, super outgoing. 😊 In my personal experience, you rarely receive genuine warm-heartedness from employees at Walmart. In this case it was great to have!

Store was clean and the staff I interacted with were friendly. Unfortunately the lawn and garden department was chaos due to the seasonal change. But not their fault, bad timing.

Was on a mission before going to work, and I was able to get everything I needed. It was mostly self check out, who I always end up arguing with. Luckily there was a nice man who put it in its place and I was able to get out in less than 30 minutes.

The Tire and oil change place, I promise they look for reasons to NOT service your vehicle. I was told 90 minutes till the oil change. I walk around the store for an hour and then i go check and they tell me they’re refusing service because they weren’t the last ones to do an oil change. ITS AN OIL CHANGE…..

This store has the basics for everyday living. If youre looking for specialty items, fat free milk instead of 2%, you may have to go to another Walmart.

Never enough checkers and only 2 of the self check lanes for a large amount of groceries. These are are only open about 50% of the time. Store is usually kind of dirty and doesnt enforce mask mandates when they are in place. Hate the make-up section because it is all locked up due to theft problems. You have to get an employee to open even for nail polish. There is never an employee to be found, so I never buy any make up or nail supplies here. This location is always understaffed in the automotive, paint, and material departments.

My guy Jessie working the desk in the auto department was an unprofessional tool. Sit him down for a week of customer service training and then keep him in the shop. The other guys in the department are great and the oil change prices are some of the best however, so if you see a small very angry looking bald dude at the counter just come back another time, the other dudes will take good care of you.

I will avoid this store location from now on. In the last five yrs if I have shopped there maybe it has been 6xs. Its an insult to me as a 67 yr old to see that all makeup, cleansers, nail polish, etc. are locked up.Why and what signal is this sending to the rest of the community in the area? Im not originally from SA, but from the Dallas/ Ft Worth area and lived in McAllen for several years also. Not once did I see cosmetics looked up and Im surprised and taken back by Walmart behavior to do this. Walmart is sending a resounding message that all the people especially minority women in the vancinty cant be trusted. The community must come as a whole and demand that this practice cease immediately.What was upsetting to me on my visit was the lack of cleaning supplies not being provided to the cashiers.I approached the cashier on lane 6 and noticed that checkout lane was filthy. The lane was wet, food particles and its appeared to have soil to top it off.I asked the cashier if she was going to clean it, her response was I dont have anything to clean with. I asked dont you think you should and do you expect to lay my groceries on that filth? Silence was her best answer. I commented dont you think that you to get some cleaning supplies? Her silence was was golden again.I told to forget and I moved over to lane 7. The cashier mumbled which I couldnt understand what she said. I asked her what did you say? Her response was I said nothing. I responded I hope you said nothing because your behavior is unbecoming to me as a customer. She responded to me youre rude.. I looked at her and said Im the customer here youre disrespectful to me and you lack customer service skills. You should always be mindful of the customer and make a pleasant shopping experience.After I checked out I addressed my concerns with Ben the front end manager with what had transpired and it would be my last visit to the location. I did question him why doesnt Walmart provide Lysols wipes to clean after customer. He replied we have other supplies and commented your cashier on 6 doesnt have anything to clean the filthy lane.We are in troubling and dangerous time that the checkout lanes between customers arent been cleaned. We have Covid 19, Delta and MU variant. Upcoming flu season, MRSA, the lack of hand washing, Staphylococcus, numerous diseases that are transmitted by body fluids. Not only is Walmart guilty, so is HEB, Target, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Drs offices who arent cleaning the chairs that patients have set on. Heres some advice when you get home remove your shoes before stepping in and remove all your clothing in the garage, or place in washer or have specific plastic bag. Bath and wash your hair which harbors a multitude of bacteria. Dont take it for granted that youre safe when you come back from an errand.Seen to many illness in the ER.Be smart, be safe for yourself, family and community.Dont shop at Walmart by the Summit it not up to stands alone with personnel.

If I could give them no stars I would. I walk in with my dog and the lady at the doors doesn’t let me. I understand “pets” aren’t allowed but she’s a service animal. I told her I had her ID with me but she didn’t even let me talk or show it to her when she said I couldn’t go in. This is unbelievable and horrible. I just needed three things, JUST THREE! I can’t go in without her because what if I need her for what she is trained? And to top it off I called because I couldn’t go in and tried to speak to the managers but I’ve been on hold for almost 40 minutes. No other Walmart has stoped me from going in with her.

This is one of the oldest stores. It is smaller than the others that I have visited, but very clean and well stocked. The store layout is very different from the majority of other Walmarts, but it made it more interesting trying to figure out where things were. The staff were very friendly and polite.

This is a smaller store. Just a step up from their Neighborhood Market. So, they have limited variety of items. If youre looking for something specific, just go to one of their larger stores and dont bother stopping here.

I like that its a smaller wal mart. I detested the fact that there was 1 cashier and about 4 attendants at the self checkout 😑 if you only have 1 or 2 items thats great. But I dont work for wal mart. I shouldnt be scanning my own things or wait about an hour maybe more because there is only 1 cashier.

I was surprised at not having to find a worker to assist me and the kindness and helpfulness of the workers. I truly appreciate the changes at my local Walmart.The reason I gave a 4 vs 5 is because they have limited their plus sizes from what they previously were.

Some of bakery is nasty its hard. I used to buy donuts for the past few months the donuts taste awful I cant describe the taste but it didnt taste soft fresh donuts like before. Something is wrong with your bakery department. I do not buy any bakery from Walmart again.

For a super Walmart its much smaller than a standard Walmart and its usually very crowded. Other than that the employees actually are very nice.

Stepped into the local Wal-Mart to grab to grab a quick meal for my Family. This was chicken that I was lucky enough to purchase. After calling and talking to management. I was told I have to bring the chicken back in to get a refund. Me not being able to bring it in till tomorrow after work. I am not going to hold uncooked chicken overnight and day. And pictures were not acceptable with the receipt tomorrow. I figured I just let it be known and show the pictures in a review. BEWARE THE CHICKEN!!!

So this was an interesting visit to say the least. The store was super unorganized. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. There was pee all over the floor in the mens bathroom.

The pharmacy was very prompt and courteous. I didnt wait long at all

Great Walmart, Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I never had any issues with anything. Its also kept very clean. Its not a huge Walmart they dont carry as much as you would find at a Super Center but for the most part its a great place to shop.

Stayed in the vehicle parking lot. The lot was clean. All the baskets were collected. Adequate lighting. My daughter shopped in a timely manner. There were several other patrons in their vehicles.
