A very wonderful experience. The store is decked out nicely. A lot of really good merchandise. Very welcoming staff, especially Devin. Not only was he very professional, but also very patient with an out of place New Yorker. Best Father’s Day gift in a long time. Very friendly, very helpful. I purchased a hoodie 3 years ago and returned it with their Beer Guarantee.Received a note that the item was discontinued and received my purchase cost minus shipping. 24 dollars. Not a replacement as advertised. They have a bullet flag hoodie, in grey, on their web site...but I was told that the Grey colors were different than my old hoodie...so I could pay an additional 20$ to receive my guaranteed replacement,I was a grunt. I liked the idea of their line. Im mailing all of my grunt style gear back to the dishonest bums.In short...the beer guarantee is bogus

We visit the store in San Antonio about once a month and always have a great experience! I went in yesterday looking for a couple of specific shirts that unfortunately were not in stock. The store manager went above and beyond to check the downstairs stock room for me. Even though I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for, I was impressed with the exemplary customer service experience!! If you have not stopped in, you are missing out!

Shirts are great when you first get them. But read the fine print of the beer gurantee its all about the wording. For being a Veteran owned company and someone who has bought multiple shirts and given them quite a bit of business they screwed me out of one shirt in the beer guarantee. They lost my three shirts when I have USPS showing the delivery in Chicago. Not very Texas friendly sad they outsourced there instead of here in San Antonio. Will buy from other stores like Nine Line instead. I will pass on to my family who also serves and other veterans I know at Ft Sam. Buyer beware......

Great quality shirts with top shelf guarantees. I will say order two sizes larger for ladies shirts. My mom is super petite and the large barely fit. If normal sized woman not sure they would fit. If was any smaller have to give to a niece.

Nice & clean store. However, for being the HQ of Grunt Style, I expect them to carry the same inventory online. I was told to check out their new store on Fort Sam but they dont have what Im looking for either. Why not have set inventory where both stores knows what each other carry.

When i went they were still setting up. They were quick to help and everyone that passd me asked how myself and my kids were doing. I ordered a shirt an they sent it out to nephew in west texas.

Awesome shop for veterans gear. Super patriotic shirts, caps, clothing, flags, and military items. Love that they have stuff for women too. Prices are right. Near the oldest VFW in Texas. Grunt Style often hosts veterans events and serves as a venue or meeting spot. Shop does what they can to help veterans and active duty military. Not too far from downtown. Last I checked, the shop is expanding its space. This place is a MUST VISIT for vets and active duty military.

Went for their social and it was alright. They do have a sense of humor.

Plenty of parking and only a short hop to the Riverwalk and the Alamo from their location. If you are going to San Antonio for fun, business or shopping, its a must stop!

Hard to describe the irony of a store that will sell T-shirts promoting liberty and personal freedom, but refuse to sell one to you unless you put on a mask.

My experience with grunt style was unfortunately one of the worst imaginable. I ordered two shirts on Black Friday. A week before Christmas I had received neither. I had to call the company for a status update and was informed my order never shipped and now one of the shirts I ordered was now out of stock! I was assured two day shipping on the shirt that was in stock. It’s now the 23rd of December. I called back today to find the shirt I wanted still had not shipped and was now also not in stock. This is unacceptable!! Customer service did NOTHING to remedy this issue. I want to support veteran business but I cannot in good faith continue as a customer. I am incredibly disappointed and saddened by the terrible handling of this issue, overselling of product and failure to deliver not one but both shirts I ordered over a month ago!

Poor customer service and repeated delays of my merchandise I ordered after I paid extra for overnight delivery. They gave me unfair treatment of blocking me from ever purchasing. I do not recommend this place. I found much better veteran owned companies such as enlisted 9, nine line, zero foxtrot to be much better choice. What a sham and they certainly do not stand on great customer satisfaction values. What a bunch of snowflakes. Thanks a lot grunt style but no thanks.

I would rate a zero star went to buy some shirts, they only sold for pencil size, small and med, as we, spouse and I, walked in, were greeted with a cold hello but other folks were greeted with a warm hello, smiles and were offered a beer. We asked for help for sizes, but were told, Dont have it and walked away. We felt like we were disrespected,spouse is a Vet and is a Officer and was treated horrible. Thank you for the cold horrible service. Wont be shopping there. They lost 2 customers.

I love Grunt Style! I order tons of stuff from them for my husband. They have the best customer service. Over Christmas they went above and beyond to make sure that I received my order on time. UPS lost my package and Grunt Style resent it out right away via 2 day air. I got my replacement package just in time! I can’t thank them enough for their swift response. Texas Original! I visited Grunt Style while on vacation. Nice unique store! Lots of different style original shirts to choose from. The staff was very friendly and the store feels really welcoming! I did buy a few shirts and also plan to visit there again in the near future. I have family that live in Texas that turned me on to this little Hidden Gem of a store! Will definitely be returning. 2nd visit and disappointment with the level of service.

Ive been buying their shirts from another store and online since 2 years ago before they opened the San Antonio store. My girlfriend and I love their shirts and now we enjoy going to their actual store. We probably have around 20 shirts between the both of us. We have had a few problems with their shirts. One shirt the stitching at the neck line undid itself but I still wear it like that. The second shirt on the first use the seam behind the left arm sleeve completely opened up. Dont know whats going on with the quality control but seems like its starting to show some growing pains and quality is start to go down. I took the second shirt back to the store but was told I could not exchange it, so a little disappointed with that. I guess Ill just sew it up myself since I cant exchange it. I hope this type of nonsense of you cant exchange the item gets fixed. I guess once I stop stomping my feet around like a little girl Ill probably be buying more shirts from them, LOL.

Customer service is a not a priority with Grunt Style now. Ive done business with this company for over 7 years and I can honestly say I will no longer. Long story short, I had issues with Club Grunt sending out monthly shirts that I DID receive some but not all. It took weeks just for a response to 3 emails I had sent. I spoke with 2 different employees and was assured they would make it right. 3 weeks have now passed again since I last recieved an email pertaining to correcting the issue and now Im being ghosted. What happened to such a once amazing company? Save your time and frustration...DONT ORDER HERE!

Great selection of items great staff

I have been buying from Grunt style since the beginning. The quality of sweatshirts has gone down. I still love that it supports veterans, but if the quality continues to drop I will have to purchase somewhere else.

My wife and I ordered shirts from this company to support a Veteran-owned business. Two of the four shirts came in with a smaller fit than desired, did a Beer Guarantee and paid $8 to return the shirts for exchange. Date delivered to GruntStyle for exchange was 12/11/2020. GruntStyle shipped via USPS the exchanged merchandise on 1/17/2021, over a month later, and gave the excuse we had to pause processing returns for a week due to needing all hands on deck in order to answer phones.My wife and I got the shirts on 01/27/2021, the Hunter Defined next size up worked (I wear L in all shirts and they usually fit me big, I had to return to go up to an XL in GruntStyles shirt), but the Large Super Patriot 2.0 Womens shirt for my wife fit her exactly like the Medium we first ordered. And she normally wears smalls or mediums in all of her shirts.I have been trying to exchange for the next size up, yet again, but GruntStyle wants me to submit another Beer Guarantee and pay another $8 to ship the shirt back to them. And wait 2 more months for the processing. That will be $16 in shipping returns for a $22 shirt, I just about doubled the price paid in freight to hope get something that actually fits her.We do not provide prepaid shipping labels.Heard this on the phone as well as by e-mail today.The shirts are nice, if you get one that fits you right. But the customer service is the absolute worst I have experienced in purchasing clothing online. I will be giving my wifes shirt away to a child who can wear it and will not be back to GruntStyle for future purchases, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Great way to help the vets

On December 21st I placed an order for a men’s shirt for my husband. I placed an order for a “throat punch” shirt with my PayPal. Immediately funds were deducted from my PayPal account. But I never received an order confirmation. Therefore by that evening I emailed their customer service in hopes that the next day I would have some sort of response with regards to having not received a order confirmation. By the next day at noon I still had no communication from the company. Therefore I chose to call them. I sat on hold for 45 minutes and was disconnected I attempted to try to call again and had the same issue. I then went on to social media to message them with their Instagram account and Facebook account. This would be December 22. I once again could get no response from anyone. By the next day on December 23 I had a comment on Facebook that was just very bleak and rude where they gave me an alternate email for their customer service. As well as the individual who messaged me back on Facebook stated that neither of my email addresses were found connected to any order. Which is not correct because I paid with my PayPal and I gave them the email that is connected with my PayPal. therefore I proceeded to email the alternate email that was given to me. The individual who emailed back a few days later claimed that they found my order that the email address was just spelt wrong. Which is again not correct because I purchased with my PayPal and everything in my account is correct as I double checked it. This individual claimed that the item was indeed in stock, and they upgraded it to second day air and I would receive shipment confirmation shortly. By January 2nd, I still have no item whatsoever but they have charged my account. So I responded back once again to the social media email that I was told to email initially to, I question them with regards to the order and the status of the shipping. I was then told that the item was no longer available and that I had the option to choose a different item or have a store credit. I expect them to ship the item to me that I was told was in stock. Or they are to credit me back my funds. I am not going to do an in-store credit or a choice of a different item. This is not my fault this is this company‘s fault. They are praying on Americans acting as though they are a military company and that they support patriotic Americans. Instead what they’re doing is taking advantage of hard-working Americans and their money right now with all of the controversy and things that are going on in the media. If they cared about the American people and they cared about the military and front line individuals this wouldn’t be going on with purchases. I am seeing all sorts of issues online that a ton of people are dealing with this stuff. I don’t even think it’s a true company in the United States I think it’s some thing in another country and they’re praying on Americans.

Customer service was horrible. I ordered a shirt and it was torn on the thread. I live in town so I just asked if I could exchange it if I stop by. They said no I have to goto their site and go through that process. Thats ridiculous. That said the clothing is alright but their customer service is piss poor.

Not a fan of new store. Bad Customer Service, and they don’t take returns or exchanges from online orders. What modern day Co. doesn’t do that. Poor selection as well. Quite disappointed.

I have several of Grunt Styles shirts. The only issues Ive had is shirts not fitting well for same sizes and one shirt with a ripped seam. In both cases, Grunt Style staff responded immediately and took care of me. Ive also taken advantage of their beer warranty and found it was quick and painless. GREAT COMPANY!!!

I Purchased 6 shirts November 17 2018; I received most of my shirt a week before christmas. I was also missing a shirt, so I called customer service and they told me my other shirt was being shipped. its already January 21 2019 I have not yet received my one shirt! Also most of the shirts look very cheap and faded you cannot even see the design on the shirts so well. So never will I be purchasing anything from this company again. This was also a gift for my boyfriend I was so disappointed expecting good quality and it wasnt!

I have been buying from Grunt Style since the beginning that being said...Grunt Style used to be really great... not so much anymore. Looking for shirts online is always a pain in the @$$. They either don’t have it in stock or not in stock for your size. Their shipping is a joke, ordered at the beginning of October, I leave for a trip tomorrow and the shirts won’t be here in time. When the shirts do come in I’ll send send back and disjoin from their “club” which is a membership fee to get an exclusive shirt you had no input on and if you don’t like it well I guess that sucks for you. All in all we had a great run grunt style, but all good things must come to an end.

Just cancelled my membership because the wife said I had too many shirts overflowing my drawer. Out of the years of buying grunt style shirts I only had one order not arrive when I thought it should. No business is 100% perfect. Everytime I called grunt style I received a logical explanation for that one order. The other orders were flawless. Thanks gruntstyle- I’ll be back in the future.

Shirts are never in stock, theres always an issue with ordering. Customer service is hit or miss. Theyre very robotic with their responses. Be warned if it says pre-order it actually means, this shirt will never be produced so dont order it. Otherwise, if you like $30.00 shirts that take 6 months to get to you, this is the place to go. I give two stars only because they are a veteran owned company.

Fortune 500 company orders over 1,000 shirts for the veterans, military spouses and supporters at the company. Customer service was extremely poor. Still continuing to drive communications and follow up on missing shirts, orders not received, changing delivery dates, etc. Not expected. Wanted to go with Staples, went with Grunt Style due to requests from veteran employees to go through a veteran owned business. Should have gone through Staples.

I don’t often leave reviews. But the service I received from Grunt Style was absolutely awesome. Back in April a friends husband was killed on duty. Shortly thereafter Grunt Style did a pre order for a commemorative shirt. I missed the boat and didn’t put in an order. Once I learned about it I reached out to Grint Style Customer Service and requested to order two of these shirts. Now I’m three months past when the pre order took place, I was prepared for a “thanks but you’re too late.” response. I didn’t get that. In fact PFC Christine not only took my order but got it shipped to me in no time flat. I’m blown away by this and will absolutely recommend them to anyone needing comfortable clothing that comes with awesome service. Thanks again for helping me out Grunt Style!
