Chris and Danny were extremely helpful with all the questions we had in regards to the acquisition of a new Jeep Gladiator. The dealership took really good care of my husband and I all throughout the process and it went super easy and smooth. We decided to get the bedliner spray and the side steps done at their service center and we are completely satisfied because Scott was able to get it done for us all in one day.
I had broke down on I-37 and had it towed to San Antonio so they could fix it because it was under warranty. I was passing through town on business and told them that I would have to rent a car go out of town and come back through since I live 5 hours away in Brownsville. Mr. Sivil in the maintenance department was the one that helped me from beginning to end and did a wonderful job even following up and making sure that I could get bumped up due to the fact that I was from out of town and did not leave me there even though if he had left me alone I would have been there for more than 2 weeks without my vehicle due to the backlog of people waiting to be fixed. It was fixed perfectly and truck runs good as new I am very happy thank you Mr Sivil and all the maintenance department!

Never answer phones. They forget to call about updates on cars. Expensive. And no payment plans or credit applications. Like other dealers.
BECAREFUL WITH THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT. They will add extra charges/warranties without your knowledge and try to disguise them as something else. They dont give you copies of what you sign for a reason. Be smart.

I can not say enough good things about this dealership and it’s staff. Me and my family just purchased a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee and took a road trip to San Antonio. When getting ready to head back home 4 hrs away the NEW vehicle left us stranded away from home. Service staff Larry and Ray Crawford went above and beyond to help me and my family be comfortable during this ordeal . I am forever grateful for these 2 gentleman for their compassion and professionalism. These 2 guys deserve all the success and accolades in the world for their actions.

My husband bought a car here roughly 2 years ago. When he bought the car, he bought a 3 year warranty. If we cancelled before the 3 years were up, we would be refunded the prorated amount. After one year (last October), my husband decided to cancel the warranty. Lonestar emailed him a form to fill out and sign. He signed it and returned to them and got an email confirmation from the finance manager that he received the form and a check would be mailed to TD Finance and it would go toward paying down the loan. After several weeks passed, my husband called TD Finance, and they had not received a check from Lonestar. My husband calls Lonestar and they tell him they never cancelled the warranty. They apologized and said they do have email correspondence showing where my husband sent the form in and the finance department received it. They said they would fix the issue and mail the check to TD finance. WELLLL...fast forward almost one whole year and TD finance has still not received the check. Lonestar owes us a couple thousand dollars. My husband has called and called only to be sent to voicemail by the managers/staff at Lonestar. We do have texts/emails between my husband and Lonestar confirming the receipt of the cancelled warranty, and multiple conversations regarding the mistake on Lonestars part, and a promise from them that the check was being mailed to TD finance. I know we will eventually get our refund one way or the other, but this is absolutely ridiculous, unprofessional, and illegal.

Super low inventory. I would not consider going here looking for a new car. The building is also not labeled inside or outside properly. Normally there are visible signs outside and inside but not here. Wheres the parts department? Youd know where to go if there were signs posted. Kinda looks like they are going out of business or something. I think I may have seen 2 salesmen looking like dogs at the pound wanting to get adopted.The black gentleman in the service department was really nice and was very helpful. Unfortunately I forgot to get his name. Other than that one encounter the chances of me going to this location in the future are slim to never.
Waited a long time (45-50 minutes) for mechanic to program keyfob for vehicle... but once the vehicle was in the bay... took only 5-8 minutes. Then charged more than $150 for labor 🧐😳😲 payment for OVERHEAD cuz I know that mechanic doesnt get paid by the minute!
So my Husband waited over a month to get his truck that never came in.. last week he gets a phone call from the sales person that there was a truck that had come in and if he wanted to buy that one. My husband decided to go view it and decides to purchase it.. 1st they took offThe MSRP sticker that shows price and what details come on the truck.supposedly the truck listed for 63k but after of course paying TTL my husbandDidn’t realize until after he was home and reviewed all the signed paperwork that they charged him 3k for a Dealership service fee which we called other dealers and they don’t charge that fee . So before purchasing from this Dealership which I don’t recommend make sure they disclose all this information because they forgot to disclose that pricey information and you will be paying for something that you should not be charged for.
What’s your limit for waiting on hold for the service department? Five or ten minutes? My limit is 10 minutes. They have had my company truck for three weeks and I’m still waiting for an actual call back to tell me when they’ll have it done. This is my work truck, so I’m very interested in getting it back. But all I’ve been getting is being placed on hold or leaving several voice mails which have never been returned.Very poor customer service.Still waiting on a call with an update. Called today and talked to another service supervisor, he said he would let my service supervisor know… And still waiting!!!It’s now been a almost a week since I first posted this and still no contact from the service department… And still waiting for some one to care!!! Absolutely the worst service department.I will never step foot in this dealership again. They have caused damage to two of my vehicles now. They have poor communication skills, are apathetic at a management level, charged diagnostic fees with out performing an inspection, outright lied to me and put my wife in I in danger of being stranded. I am outraged. I should be able to take my vehicles to a dealership and trust that they are paid enough to do a job well and correctly. Be aware, I have 1 2021 Jeep Gladiator Ecodiesel, stay away, has been nothing but problems, this time it has been there for 10 days and it has not even been checked yet,that is on the dealer, it spent more than 50 days straight at this dealer for a failed fuel pump,Now for the manufacturer, we are in the process of a lawsuit (Lemon Law Case), I signed a release letter(release from the Lawsuit) because the Jeep was fixed and they offered a settlement for the down time, We signed it but now are getting thru the process of nulling such release because it has not been fixed and it has been back at the dealer Twice more for same issues, people be aware, this Jeep has been at a shop more than half the time I have owned it, Jeep does not want to buy it back, they cant fix it right, please be aware and if you see my jeep on social media you will notice it, we are getting it body wrap with a Lemon theme and taking it all over the place for people to see, 60k vehicle and it cant stay on the road because its reliabilty is non existent, I will update this review with the TikTok account dedicated to this jeep in the next few days after the vynil wrap gets installed
Had a recall on my Dart. From the moment I called them to the time I got my car back was less than 2 hours. Larry was a pleasure. Great service all around. The other dealership in town wanted to possibly keep my car overnight with no guarantees on when I would get it back. I will be checking with Lone Star first from now on!
I called this place looking for the parts department and receptionist was very welcoming. I was then transferred to parts and Buddy was amazing. I was not sure what the part was called but he went out of his way to narrow down the search and found the part I was looking for. Was having trouble with the ABS system on my 18 Ram 3500, stopped at a dealership in Seguin and they had opening on August 4th. Called Lonestar and spoke with Ray Crawford and explained that the truck was my livelihood. He checked on part availability and said he could get it done tomorrow, it might be all day for repairs. Went next morning and was done before noon. Although it was about 30 plus miles from my home it was well worth the trip, MY HATS OFF TO THE LONESTAR SERVICE TEAM AND THE MECHANICS. My truck had been in service for a month due to a transmission problem under warranty. After a month of complete runaround and lies I get a call and they its fixed????? So I come frome FLORIDA and get a mile away and its running on 6 cylinders. Now I have to stay at a hotel for 2 days to Monday when the mechanic they should by working at McDonalds comes in I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY EX WIFE. STAY AWAY
Very shady business practices. Do not trust the finance department. When we asked direct questions about our sales contract they lied straight to our face about the pricing and will not give you a copy of your contract paperwork. It took us 3 weeks after the purchase of the vehicle to obtain ours.
I paid my 2020 Dodge Charger off in full within 3 months. I cancelled my gap insurance cause i don’t need it no more. When I cancelled it they said the refund would be 30 days. Well that time came up. I call they said 4-6 weeks. Now they say 10-12 weeks. I wonder what will be said next. Finance there is a joke.Update 4 months have gone by and still have not received my refund from the dealer for my gap insurance.
Probably one of the worst dodges in san antonio....the manager would not even sell me the car they had for at least $33,000 which is the total price announced...the manager literally went to the back for like 20 minutes supposedly working on a good price and came back and said its $38,000 if i wanted the car....thats ridiculous....i recommend to anyone to go to any other dodge in san antonio they have offers that are good and stay with the price announced and actually work with you

Well it started out good but then went south real fast watch out for the salesman WILLIS CARWISE. He lied to me about how my loan had been approved. He even said that I was approved through 2 different companies and all he was waiting for was the numbers like the payment and how he would be calling me back in 5 minutes then that turned into hours and then come to find out after having to deal with Greg that everything that I was told from Willis was not correct. I was never approved with 2 companies well at least to Greg’s knowledge I was only approved through one company but now they wanted at least 3000 down. Beware go else where for your deals.
Replaced my cabin air filter backwards and left filter panel improperly secured. Also damaged sound panels under dash. Charged 65.00. For this terrible service. Drove jeep 7000 miles before discovering AC system. Disfuction. Sivol Black. Assited me
After a misunderstanding the store’s general manager made things right. Personally reached out to my wife and I. Priced a Dodge Charger at a good deal. Stated he will refund the amount that I put down on my car as well as provide tints and a free oil change. Gave me the choice to have a vehicle without miles on it. If you have any problems make sure you let the gm know. He is willing to work with you. Salesman Timothy is a good guy.

A guy who claims to be a manager began to talk back to me, but in my opinion there he’s just an employee and I’m a customer, therefore well customer service is expected. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!I took my Jeep for service to replace a visor, when I picked up the Jeep I had a foot long crack on my windshield.The employee said he documented a windshield crack upon arrival, then said he did not document any windshield damage.I then spoke to the Ray Crawford, the Service Manager, and he basically told me it was impossible that my Jeep windshield was cracked on-site.I then contacted the General Manager, and have not had one response.It’s unacceptable to go in for a minor visor fix and return with a foot long crack on your windshield!

Worse place ever I went to get a oil change on my 300 and when I left my car started knocking so pulled over my car had no Oil so I checked the filter to see if they at least changed that and no they didn’t so I had to walk to the store to get oil so I can drive it back told the guys and Service and they had the nerves to tell me there mechanics would never leave it with out oil and they all change there filter they made it seem like I went took out the oil and put a dirty filter in my car like do you know how stupid that sound just admit it your mechanics are wack

The sales team is great it’s the awful service you get from the service department that is really the worst from any other service departments in San Antonio. “The team” of service fails to inform customers any updates of their vehicle, or their other teams in case customers call in to get some kind of information on their vehicle even after a week you still know nothing about how much longer you will be without your vehicle or even the the slightest idea of what it is they are doing to it. Would not recommend it to anyone period.

Went there for an oil change and the tried to sell me the farm. said your air intake filter is super dirty after I had cleaned it a few weeks ago and my radiator fluid needs changed but I had another dealer replace the radiator and flush the system about a month ago and somewhere theres an oil leak.but my driveway says different not a drop il take the oil change without the bull blow smoke up someone elses butt

While sitting in the lobby the salesperson(s) made sure you had a comfortable experience. Everyone is very professional and polite! Keep up it! Service staff communications were outstanding in every way! We were from out of town when our transmission failed in our 2016 Jeep. Our extended warranty through Autonation denied to cover the repair because it had a lift. Meanwhile this C19 virus took a hold of the nation. After leaving our Jeep at the dealership for three weeks and having been presented many possible solutions we decided to pick it up with a trailer. Can you believe the service manager and his guys helped us laid the Jeep in the trailer? They sure did! Man I wish I had bought neon them I bet I wouldn’t be fighting over warranty coverage. Theses are good people so give em a chance to earn your business

Service Rep Civil was great! He kept me posted on my vehicle and reached out to me before performing additional diagnostics for my Chrysler 300S. Took it in for several issues/recalls and all items were performed as requested. Civil even reached out to me after I had picked up my vehicle because he saw me but was busy with a customer at the time and wanted to ensure all was well with my vehicle. I would highly recommend Civil when you need your vehicle serviced at Lone Star Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.

When you first walked in everyone greets you. They had music playing and I love music also, Darryl C. was amazing he helped me and worked with me. By the end of all deciding I drove off with a Brand new car.
Unfortunately I was not able to reach a deal at this dealership which I was really bummed about. Even though we werent able to reach a deal I wanted to thank Cesar for being such a professional salesman! He was extremely knowledgeable and just a cool guy to spend time with.
Let me preface this by saying that my frustrations are purely towards the finance department and no one else. These people let us believe that we were driving off the lot free and clear with an approval for our vehicle. Why would you allow someone to think that they were approved for their vehicle, drive it around as if it were theirs, only to tell them they actually were not approved (we couldve been approved but did not want to lie in order to do that)? It would have been fine to just get rejected but they had to humiliate us first in an effort to make a sale. They actually lost out because now this vehicle cant be sold as new anymore. So upset and frustrated with this location because it had been a great experience up until this happened.

I have been to different dealerships on my car search and this by far was the worst experience I have had. I had an appointment and I get there no one knew I was coming. They immediately tried to have me fill out a credit app. I hadn’t even seen or test drove the vehicle. After pushing back advising them that I didn’t want to do that until I had driven the vehicle, they finally ask what vehicle I was interested in. Now keep this in mind, I had expressed interest in the Jeep Wrangler and gave them the details prior to me coming. When I went to other dealerships, they already knew my name, the vehicle I was interested in and it was out front ready for me to test drive. Sad to say this didn’t happen here. We finally test drive and then they tell me the car was more than what was shown on their website. We go inside and talk numbers and I complete the application. They come back with numbers that weren’t even related to the vehicle. There is so much more to this but It would make this review longer than it already is. I was very disappointed in the professionalism, customer service, integrity and service of this dealership. I wouldn’t recommend this location.
Who is the man who will risk his neck for his brother man? XAVIER!! Just kidding. But in all reality, he is phenomenal. On top of being extremely professional, he was more than accommodating in helping me and my family with prices, options, and trims. I’m addition to that, he even got the vehicle we wanted from another location. He always remained in contact with me and answered any questions I may have had. When we arrived at the dealership (multiple times, for multiple vehicles) he always greeted us promptly at the front with the vehicles of interest pulled up and ready for a test drive. There was never a “wait” or hold time as he had done all his research beforehand. If you want a hassle free and fun experience, Xavier at Lone Star is the way to go!

I found them to be a fair and friendly dealer. The day I went was a major traffic day. So things moved a bit slower for everyone involved but they communicated the whole time. The financials were simple as I came with financing but they looked to be working with all types of situations. They try and make deals happen.I worked with Darryl Coleman who did a great job. I am providing my unpleasant experience with this company to help other customers if they decided to deal with them. In 07/13/2020, I was searching for a truck in the RBFCU bank website and found a suitable one in Lone Star Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership in San Antonio, it was a FORD F-150 (stock # L00848A), I checked their website and I send them an email to confirm the availability of the vehicle for purchase. Few hours later, I received an email response from “Julie”, Internet Sales Assistant, confirmed that the car is available and told me that somebody will be calling me next morning to arrange the purchase. Early in 07/14/2020, I received a phone call from a sales associate called “Johnathan Parker”, he confirmed that the car is available. I told him that I am from Austin, TX and I will be able to drive to San Antonio (90 miles away) to purchase the car the same day at 5 pm (after my work), as I can arrive there by 7 pm the same day. He said this will be great as they close at 9 pm and they will hold the truck for me. Exactly at 5:15 pm, I sent him a text message confirming that I am driving to San Antonio and the trip will take me 2 hours to arrive there by 7 pm, he replied back confirming recipient of my text and asked me to text him when I arrive the dealership at 7 pm. However, I was so tired from work and the temperature was around 106 F, I drove to san Antonio and arrive the dealership exactly at 7 pm, I texted Johnathan as planned, and he asked me to get inside and ask for his manager “Rudy”. I reached the front desk and asked for “Rudy”, after few minutes another representative came to see me (not Rudy), I told him that I am here on time to purchase the truck and I told him that everything was arranged with Jonathan. His response was like one of the most surprise I would ever face in my life, he simply said “The truck was sold”. I said what? I do not know how I was able to keep my quietness after all this long trip and after all these emails, phone calls and text messages, they simply lied to me. At this point my blood pressure went to the roof and he brought his manager and tried to say excuses that I did not even remember or listened to. I just told them that I cannot trust a bunch of liars and buy anything from them even for few dollars not for almost $20K. As I teach my kids, any one lies about a thing, he will lie about everything. I took my car and traveled back to Austin for 2 more hours, and I am not actually sure how I was able to do that while I was so upset and feel disrespected. Please stay away from those Liars as much as you can.
After going to two different Jeep service centers and was told I needed to leave my car for 5-7 days, I decided to try Lone Star Dealership. I was totally in awe at my experience with Sivol Black who is a Service Advisor there. This gentleman took the time to explain that my issue was indeed not an issue however just a simple standard feature that I was not aware of and how it worked. Service Center need people like Mr. Black that show professionalism and look out for the customer. When I do have an issue, I will call on Mr. Black only and I can rest assure my trust will be on him to handle my vehicle and its needs.

I should have known going back here I was going to get sub par customer service. This is the second (and last) time I will use this dealership for anything. 1st incident I took my wifes jeep in because it would not start as was giving all sorts of codes. I was told it would be 5 days until they could diagnose it. Okay fine. Well, day 6 trolls around and no phone call so I call them and they still have not gotten to it but was reassured I would get a phone call to update me. It never came. Day 9 and I physically had to go in to get an answer and it was just a simple battery replacement. The 2nd and most recent time I took my Ram 1500 in because I suspected the water pump or coolant system had failed since it decided to dump all its coolant on the highway. I dropped it off and was told it would be a few hours to diagnose. Great! I was contacted a few hours later (11:45am) and given the quote to fix it and that they had the parts already there and they would get started on it and call me when its finished. 6pm rolls around and no phone call. So I show up this morning right when they open at 7am and they tell me they havent even started on it. Why was I not told this the day prior? Do they think I dont need my vehicle to go to work? It is not out of the question to assume I would get a phone call regarding my vehicle considering they were going to keep it over night. I will no longer do business with this dealership.
The women at the front desk was extremely rude. Told me I had to stand six feet away from the dest but I couldn’t hear her with music blasting on a speaker behind me. I Asked when I would be able to talk to someone and she just threw her hands up and shrugged her shoulders and said “I don’t know”. I just came in to sign some papers and have been waiting for over and hour. There are 4 financial guys here and not one has been able to see me. Worst car dealership I’ve ever been to! Save your time and go to Brown or any other place.
I’m here currently waiting on a simple State Inspection on my Grand Cherokee and it’s literally taking over 1.5 hours and I have yet to receive my vehicle. The service advisor is a polite fellow but everywhere I’ve ever taken my cars for this it’s no more than a 10 minute affair. Very disappointed at the lack of urgency on such a simple task.
I took my truck to a different shop and nothing was fixed maybe even worse. I met a smiling and friendly face at the service desk named Sivol Black. He assured me everything would be taking care of in a professional and timely manner and it was exactly that. My truck runs like new. Good looking out 💪🏼

We took our Jeep Wrangler to the service center as it’s been just shutting completely off at random. Well they told us it would take 24-48 hrs to diagnose. It took them 4 days and all to tell us they couldn’t find the problem. They then still charged us the fee to diagnose it and couldn’t give us an answer. Do not take your vehicle to the service center. Worst service ever!

I am giving 5 stars for our salesman, Xavier Hernandez!!! He was polite, patient and personable. He answered my calls and texts within a reasonable time. Xavier dedicated his time to us for the most part of 3 days and never looked frustrated. He was great with us and got our family in vehicles that fit our needs. Tyler in finance was also great!!!

Very bad experience !!! Salesman was shady and disrespectful. Took my vehicle in for trade which I owned and KBB valued at 21,000 to 23,000 trade in. Salesman low balled me offering 14,000 and said they don’t honor KBB. So he asked how much I was looking to get, I told him 19,000 and he kept pushing for 18,500. I told him ok but he wrote 18,000 on the paper and walked away. He never really tried to get to the numbers I wanted and was pushing for higher payments. When I kept saying no he replied is it cause you can’t afford the payments or just don’t want the payment. I told him it didn’t matter the answer is still no and asked for my keys back which he took a while to give back. Before I left I told him if he ever got the vehicle I wanted at my price to let me know, instead he ignored me and said hi to a co worker as an excuse to walk away. Very disappointing and disrespectful.
