Good but would not say excellent.No person at this dealership went above and beyond for the sale, or provided the best customer service.Just business as usual at this dealership.The haggling on my car, that I was trading in, was a bit much.It would have been nice to just go back to the Sales Manager and get the price I wanted for the trade in versus the sales person going back and forth, seeing what they could do for me.Overall good service, decent financing department.Never felt pressure, but I already was approved for a specific amount by my bank & knew what I wanted when I walked into the dealership.
I went in to get my maintenance on my truck. Amber Guerrero was my advisor for this visit. She did wonderful! She not only took care of the oil change process, she made sure it was washed. I also inquired about the extended warranty and recommended touch up pens based on my concerns. I purchased two of them and she even showed me how to use them while providing tips and tricks for a better finish.
David Lust does a great job of keeping customers informed of status of vehicle repairs. This is very much appreciated. The work was done efficiently and at a reasonable price.
The Service Department employees were very helpful, kept us informed of prices and service dates. The Service Dpt is unbelievably clean and service happened very efficiently and quickly.
Your service representative, Amber Guerrero performed a minor miracle today when she retrieved my granddaughters air pod from under the rear seat belt well. She took 15 minutes and had to feel her way back there. Were so grateful. Amber reflects great credit on herself and your company.

Did not inspect or Ck Tire pressure after tire rotation. Now the left rear tire drop pressure even after I fill it to proper specs.Update:Went back to Cavender Buick GMC Today (Had an Appointment) 6/15/2021. This time I was informed that there was a nail on the side wall of the tire and needed to be replaced. I asked if they can inflate the tire to Specs so I can Drive it to Discount Tires as I did not want to pay Dealership prices do to the fact Im a Disabled Veteran and they do offer Military Discount. The Service Adviser said OK. So When I started thinking, Why did not the Technician (Mechanic) inspect the tire when I was there the first time? So I walked to the Bay where my 2020 GMC Terran was and talked to him and the Service Adviser. The Service Adviser stated that You could have picked up the nail when you left the Dealership. Which More Likely Than Not True. So I asked, Dont you Video the over all the condition of the vehicle and sent it to your phone? They always do when I bring in my Sierra. The answer is Yes. The Service Adviser said that forgot to send it to me offered to come to his desk and look at it. I really wasnt in the mood to take a look. Just wanted to get to Discount Tires. Thats all they do is tires. Because this was a Safety issue. Got to Discount Tires. They said it an easy Fix and the tire is in excellent condition. The tire was repaired and there was No Cost More Likely Than Not, If get a response from this review, it will be some type of Generic response that has no genuine concerns from The Cavender Buick North Team. Safety should be number 1 on the road. Did want to have a Blow Out and hurt myself and Family, or worse an innocent Driver or Pedestrian.
I took my 2003 GMC Sierra in for an issue causing my battery to drain over night. Greg treated me just as good as if I had bought a new truck from them. The methodically tried to diagnose the issue and likely fixed something in the process. Since they could not “technically” find the issue, they did not charge me a diagnostic fee. I have taken my vehicles to 4 other dealerships in town and Cavender by far has the the most honest, high quality service department.
I was in the market to buy a truck during a time when finding trucks seemed near impossible and came to the dealership not knowing what to expect. It was very much like a red carpet treatment from start to finish mixed in with The Jetsons (showing my age) upon arriving. Your service center is so modern!Your outdoor bench areas definitely need more attention though.I have been to two other known dealerships service departments trying to find true customer service. I had given up until I came to your dealer service department. Cavender knows what customer service is and shows it.

I Purchased my Sweet Looking Chevy Silverado HIGH COUNTRY ..at Cavender GMC..NORTH.. But i have to say it was the WORST and HORRIBLE experience I or anyone could ever experience at a car dealership. The customer service was REALLY BAD. The individual i met in my attempt to negotiation the truck purchase was .. RUDE .. DISRESPECTFUL.. INTIMIDATING..and with a THREATENING DEMEANOR.. I was STUNNED......The FINANCE DEPARTMENT was the WORST. Making UNAUTHORIZED FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS. Not being TRUTHFUL ..with my Contract..and Finances..HIGH INTEREST RATE..and Keeping my MILITARY DISCOUNT🇺🇸...STUNNED AGAIN..WOW...my recommendation...take your CPA..and or your ATTORNEY..before signing anything... Service great, time to complete task great but car wash was less than expected. Previous car washes were great. This time rear hatch showed missed areas, several places were wet other places dry. Just not up to previous standards. I hope standards are not changing.
This has been my dealership since 2002.Throughout that time I have always wanted to come back for all of my service and New Car needs. That is how well I like the people and the service. Second to none.
BUYER BEWARE!I bought a used truck here a few months ago. I spent years in the industry doing sales, finance, service, etc. I had a fairly pleasant experience while at the dealer but from the moment I left, its been awful. My sales person Collin, may be Top Salesman, but his inability to call me back shows hes done by the time the ink dries. Dana who is supposed to be handling my plates cant follow up with me on any of my issues either. The finance department has been asked to follow up with me several times and not a word. Im not sure what kind of shady stuff these guys are up to, but,DO NOT PURCHASE HERE!My trade in was impounded shortly after I purchased my truck still registered in my name. Called the dealer and nobody can tell me why. But the impound lot sent me the certified letter asking for money, not a new owner.I havent been able to get plates for nearly 3 months now and I continue to get brushed off by one person after another that its just taking a long time to get them. Being in the business, Ive been able to walk into the tax office and walk out with plates on the spot. In fact the brand new cargo trailer i bought from down the street sent me plates and a title in no more than 2 weeks time. So why cant they?This review comes after over a dozen phone calls with absolutely 0 follow up from ANYBODY there.Hopefully this review saves somebody else from making the mistake of spending their hard earned money with a group that puts customer service last as soon as you walk out of the finance office.
I had to wait over a month for getting my car fixed. No loaner car was available. I had something under my hood Tha looks like it was not removed. Car smells bad after driving. After receiving my car, and driving to one destination and trying to restart car, the car failed to start. I had to get towed back to the dealership. I am currently still without a car after paying over $4,000 bill. My experience with customer service was terrible. They put me on hold for extensive periods of time on 3 separate occasions when trying to inform them my car wouldn’t start. When attempting to get car towed, customer service lady initially gave me the wrong number for the towing service. This has not been a good experience at all.
Not expecting any work needed, the repairs were done in reasonably good time. I am satisfied with advisor and the work done.

No hassles, no price baiting, great finance department experience, more than fair trade in allowance, a complete and trouble free transaction - so much so that I may do another deal with them in the next couple of weeks. Today I was in contact with Andrea Davis. I was told the Truck I was interested in was available. I asked for pricing and trade valuation which other dealers have done due to Covid. Andrea stated it would be best if I came in. I took time off work and went to the dealer to only be informed that the truck was not available and likely would not be there for 3-4 weeks. I deeply disappointed in the Cavender dealership. Not only did they lie for an appointment they had not trucks to offer and put my health at risk.
I arrived for my 1200 PM appointment and was met in a few minutes to confirm my service needs. The attendant was efficient, courteous, and professional. I waited in their courtesy lounge for what I considered a reasonable time. It was clean and social distancing was maintained. The restroom was easily accessible and clean I was also pleased with the check out procedure. It was painless, quick and I was escorted to my car. I appreciate that they washed my car. I would say that my experience was a very good one and I will continue to use this location for my service needs.
I am treated with respect and dignity, when I enter the Cavander Service Department.I am made comfortable, I am offered coffee or cool water to drink. I am told my car will be ready at such and such time, and it is! Good Service sells cars, and that is why I buy my new cars from Cavender, where I am treated like royalty!
I called Katie Dodd for an appointment for an oil change and was having problems with the battery in my buick envision. I have always used Katie because she is a very capable consultant and always takes excellent care of my vehicle. I appreciate her attention to detail and friendly demeanor.

I will not give any stars because if my husband would not have had a ball on one of his tires he wouldnt have known you didnt do the tire rotation we paid for. Is this how your facility runs. Poking people in the eyes and then apologizing for not doing it? Maybe a refund would have been good on top of doing the work you guys didnt do in the beginning, more so since my husband had to go after work again initiating a late dinner and taking the time away from his family only having to go back for your company to do the work we paid for.
Pleasant dealership experience with Chris and met all vehicle maintenance repair timelines. This includes coordinating vehicle warranty repairs.The entire service department is more positive and advisors are more willing to help out waiting customers regardless of assigned advisor. I directly attribute this to Jason Thibodaux’s leadership and willingness to lead by example by doing tasks not associated with managerial duties.
MJ did great. The transaction was very smooth and easy from start to finish. I came to you all looking for an AT4 and up saled me to a Denali. I had a few vehicles I was working on (to purchase) but because of MJ I dropped them and went with HIM (not the truck).

Stayed in lobby for two hours waiting for Finance Manager. another two hours to complete paperwork. Said they would drop off car the next day due to a printer not working. Next day nothing, had to call multiple times and no response. Never give a cash down payment. Lesson Learned

Returned to the service department for the third time for a “Park Assist” issue on my 2020 GMC Sierra AT4. The Park Assist turns off after the truck is started about 90% of the time and either doesn’t work or a message appears that the Park Assist is blocked so it shuts off. The truck was at the dealership for 4 days. When I arrived to pick it up the invoice stated “no codes and couldn’t duplicate”. I was very unhappy that after 3 trips to the dealership for the same issue and keeping my truck for 4 days (no loaner vehicle provided) the only thing accomplished was a diagnostic test that didn’t “throw any codes” and road test that couldn’t duplicate. As I drove away from the dealership the same message appeared and same problem existed with the Park Assist. I had another appointment otherwise I would’ve turned around. I called and spoke to Chris Cotton that the problem still existed.
Truck was not completely filled with DEF fluid 1/8 left remaining. Truck was washed and not dried and not vacuumed. No spot free rinse, water left lots of hard water spots on a new truck. No video was provided of work accomplished on truck to provide assurance of work completed.

I got an appointment the same day I called. Mr Cotton was very professional. I was in and out of there in just about an hour, including a wash. Overall best experience ever!
Got all details of sale finalized on phone and email before showing up to dealership as to not be there more than an hour to sign paperwork and take possession of vehicle. Took four visits to finalize everything. Was there over an hour on first visit to be told there is a recall and cant sell the truck at that time. Showed up days later to finalize after recall completed and spent over two hours consisting of two visits there as no paperwork was created and no one other than the salesman knew I was coming in. The longest time, by far, I have ever spent at a dealership. Then license plates come in and was told they would not be mail. Son shows up to get plates put on and was told they were mailed to Fort Worth after being told procedure is to hold them unless customer requested to be mailed, which I didnt. The deal was completed after four visits and three hours when it should only taken less than one hour and two visits.
Horrible experience. I have tried calling 4-5 times and leaving my information to set up a service appointment. No one has called me back. I finally spoke with someone and they said I needed to have warranty on the car for them to work on it. They also wouldn’t provide me with a loaner car while my vehicle is being serviced. Very poor service. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Shame too, my family has been giving our business to Cavender for about 14 years now. 0/5 stars.
Worst service EVER!!! Had an appointment and waited 30 minutes. Salesman never showed up to meet us. We didnt even get an apology. Customer service needs lots of help. Six guys sat upfront and no one offered to help us while we waited. Go elsewhere.
Art was tremendous help as well as his manager Eddie. I will definitely be returning if I make a purchase in the future. They were very transparent. They never lied about anything to keep me interested. Very upfront. Art helped me find exactly what I wanted and he tried his best to help me get to where I needed to be number wise. Success!!If he wasn’t sure of something, he would tell me just that, but he found answers. He’s there to genuinely help you. I never felt pressured into something. He didn’t call me nonstop all day everyday.I would definitely recommend Cavender if you’re in the market for a new vehicle. Don’t waste your time with salesmen who try to convince you into something else and make you feel pressured or obligated into something you really don’t want.

Please just pass this place up. This Cavendars dealership is horrible !! Bought a truck 3 years old with 40 k paint started peeling at carwash they would not help me and warranty would not cover. It took them 5 months and 3 temp plates to get my tags and they still had the registration to the wrong county. I finally sold it and took a big lose and they took another 4 months to refund my in house warranty. From when I bought it it had a low pressure warning light on cash for tire the mechanic kept trying to say it only takes 34 psi but in fact that was the need set pressure and I drove home 100 miles when I should have had 65 psi in all tires. Maybe its me but just had a bad experience here
It is a busy place but for good reason. Lots of vehicles.Randy was handy in finding us both new and used vehicles in the price range we wanted. I had vowed to never buy new but with these prices and the quality of a Buick, just had to. Drive safe in plush quality at an affordable price.

It was a very smooth process from the time I arrived until the time I pulled off in my brand new vehicle! I booked an appointment on Wednesday and arrived Saturday morning and my salesman Farid S. was able to get me out in 3 hours no haggling no back and forth, I told him what I wanted what I was willing to pay and he got it done for me. I even had vehicle servicing set up as well. Jacob in finance not only was dressed to impress but also awesome as well.

Just like the last purchase, Adam made the process easy in a very difficult environment to buy a new vehicle in. Brought my wife’s car 2015 Yukon Denali, in for service and after spending $4K the issue was not fixed… the car is undrivable and when my wife called to see if they could tow the car to their shop. Obviously they said no… she asked if they could provide a rental… nope again… I wish I could say this is the first bad experience we’ve had with this dealership, but sadly it’s a pattern… over the years we have easily spent more than $10K in repairs, and every time I bring my car in they go above and beyond to not take any responsibility for their cars being outright dangerous… it’s sad since it’s the closest location to our house… so I give them 5 stars for location. But do yourself a favor and make the drive to Bourne, or Houston for that matter… anywhere but this location. I will say that They are also very polite when they tell you there’s nothing they can do for you except she’ll put thousands of dollars and still not fix your car… yaaaaay
For the past 3 car buying experiences I have avoided dealerships due to the pressure tactics. I decided to try one more time at Cavenders! It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Michael Domingez, Jorge Campos, and Eric Cantu handled the transaction with professionalism. There was no high pressure sales, just good advice. The experience when I arrived was also great, being greeted by name, offered a beverage and then right to business. It was a great experience and they were transparent. All good. I am happy with the service. The service advisor Jose Salinas was friendly and took my vehicle in for a state inspection. The only recommendation is you should have updated navigation maps updated for our vehicles on the GM Navigation.

I got my services completed pretty quickly. My only complaint is that when you turn my A/C on it smells. No one even mentioned it and I forgot to bring it up. I thought the dealership does a full review of the vehicle. But everyone is always nice. They have serviced my vehicle on every requirement except one single oil change.
Terrible communication and did not complete the work discussed. While there wasnt sufficient time or parts to complete one task, there was no discussion of what needed to be done for the standard maintenance. Tried multiple times to contact management and to confirm what was done/not done from consultant to no avail. Finally got auto email with what services are suggested several days later.
This was the best car purchase experience that I have had. My sales consultant, Tyree was very accommodating, honest and straight forward. The finance experience was also great. The numbers were exactly as I had discussed with Tyree. No surprises, no added expenses that I wasnt aware of. (Many dealers automatically include the cost of extended warranty)No high pressure tactics at this dealership.

I made a reservation after 5 pm on line for 7:20 am the next morning. I showed up and the service people were not expecting me. It took them until the afternoon of the next day to even give me an estimate on the work. So I did not have my car for 2 days. I have used this dealership for years, and this was a disappointment. My service advisor, Chris, was courteous and helpful.
Don’t go there to sell vehicle they totally give you less than what there vehicle is worth, no matter what the offer you low blue book even if your vehicle is immaculate.

I had issues getting in touch with a couple of dealerships, then kept getting the run around as far as timeframes. You all got me taken care of right away.
I had a thermostat repair that I came in for. Katie in the service department did an incredible job of taking care of me and my family vehicle. The repair was going to be quite expensive, but Katie helped find out that the car still was under warranty, got me a loaner because the part took a little longer to get, and STILL had the vehicle done in less then 3 days. If and when we look to purchase another vehicle, Cavender GMC will be high on the list of dealers to visit. Thanks again.
