Coxco did a great job, all around! Ive been to numerous shops in my day and some of what really stands out with Coxco is their friendly, professional, and timely service. Additionally, money was a little tight for me when I got all of my work done and their finance options really helped me out, along with the amazing transmission warranty offered (3 yrs, unlimited miles). Lastly, the amazing work is definitely worth noting! I will keep using them as my shop moving forward and highly recommend them!

Cody was great. Fixed exactly what was wrong and didnt try to fix things that werent wrong. He didnt stick it to the tourist and we appreciated it very much. We highly recommend this shop.

Horrible customer service!!! I waited a while to submit this review but it’s time. I paid over 3,000 in my engine and I am constantly bringing it back to be repaired. Now one good thing I can say if that there is warranty on the parts that are fixed but every time I bring my car back, they keep it for about 2 weeks with no estimation of when it can be ready. I have asked to peak with the owner and the guy in the front desk says he can’t give me the owners number but ask that I contact him myself??? Please tell me why type of sense does this make!!? They treat you as if oh well it’s not there fault your car broke down again. And I have to pay for them to tow my vehicle every time, even thought it’s there work that isn’t up to par. This is nightmare!!! The only way to get a response was to write this review??? Liars that’s what you are. I didn’t expect anything other than what I was told.

I brought my older Honda CRV to this shop. My transmission had been over revving for the last couple days and it finally quit on me. Rex was very helpful. They charge about 650 to take apart transmission and find out what problem is since it was internal. Rex then gave me a call and quoted about 2000 to replace some of the bad parts and basically rebuild the transmission. This 2000 included the before mentioned 650. So from all my past experiences and knowledge this was a good price. They were very helpful in showing what was wrong and from what i can tell not trying to trick you or anything. Rex seemed genuinly honest and helpful. I had a great experience. Over the last two weeks since i got the car back i havent sensed any problems.

Took my vehicle in for them to check on my transmissionand was told probably take a day to get to, which is fine but after more than two days of waiting !???No thanks !! Maybe they do good work??Couldnt wait days and days to find out !

They took good care of us recently when we took our Ford F150 to them for service. When they found metal in the pan, they called us to come see their findings. When told by Ford dealer that it was out of warranty, we agreed for them to tear the transmission down and provide estimate. The next day I discovered that the person they spoke to at Ford dealer was in error & the truck was covered under powertrain warranty. Even though they had begun to tear down the transmission, they put the transmission back together at no charge. We arranged for a tow truck to pickup the truck and take to dealer for factory warranty repairs. I offered to pay Coxco for their time and labor but the Manager said that there would be no charge!! Amazing!! Theyve serviced our other vehicles and weve always been pleased! We highly recommend them!

Thank you to Cody and the rest of the guys at Coxco for getting me back on the road. I kept hearing a ticking sound in my engine. I thought it was a problem with my engine knocking almost like my engine was going out. They towed my car in from Southtown because I didn’t feel comfortable about driving it up there. About a couple hours later they let me know there was in issue with my timing belt. Thankfully it wasn’t nothing major. Really happy with the communication and quality of everything. Thanks again!

Great service at a reasonable rate!

I took our vehicle in to be checked out due to having problems with the transmission. I had already taken a transmission to Coxco once before about 10 - years ago and till this day, I have not had any problems with it.This time around they had new owners but the service was still exellant.Our vehicle was thouroughly checked and when they were done with their inspection of our vehicle, it was discovered that not only did the transmission have problems but, the radiator was bad causing the transmission to have problems and, the wireing harness from the coil was burned out due to making contact with the exhuast manifold causingthe coil pack to short out and also burn a main fuse to the coil pack.It was also discovered that the front wheel hub asembly was bad among other minor issues that were very professionally addressed to me.I was given a very reasonable quote to do all of the repairs and I was very pleased with service they provided. I am pleased to say that Cody and their mechanic Rex were very helpful in both working with me on the priceand on the service they gave me.I will always highly recommend this place of business to all of my family and friends and to anyone that asks me for a place to get their vehicle inspected properly and given a reasonable quote.THEY ARE VERY RESPECTFUL AND PROFESSIONAL.THANK YOU FOR THE EXCELLANT SERVICE.

This past December I took my vehicle to Coxco to get my transmission fixed and got it back within a week. I knew it was too good to be true because while driving on the highway, with my son in the backseat, my gas pedal felt loose and began to lose speed drastically! I called a tow and took it to another shop and the other shop had to fix my clutch rings . So it makes me wonder if Coxco really did research On my car to help me drive safely .

I was having transmission issues with my 1999 4x4 Durango. There was noise coming from under the truck when moving. I went by Coxco transmissions because they were on my way to work to get it looked at. Rex was extremely helpful and found that it was a U-joint coming apart. I was thinking that the transmission would have to come out. They had me up and running by lunch time for very little money. Thank you Cody and Rex.

Excellent customer service ! Best experience quick service. The were very thorough and went over everything ... and let’s face it Transmissions are expensive but way better then buying a new car especially when you love your car. They do a lot of stuff at not charge to diagnosis it and will only charge you when all the work is completed.

I brought in my truck due to transmission issues and was told they would do a free inspection of my trans to see what the issue was and told it would be about 30 mins so I went to the Sonic next to the shop, when I returned they had my transmission completely torn apart and told me I needed my transmission completely rebuilt and was told it could be complete in 3 days and for a price 2500 or less so I agreed to this and proceeded to the other side of Texas where I live and the next day I got a phone call from the child working the front desk and told that it would be 5100, and when I told him thats not what I agreed to and that I would get it fixed somewhere else he started getting very hostile and said I had to pay them over 900 in labor or get it fixed by them or they would keep my truck. So I had very little choice but to let them fix it then it took them over two weeks to complete and asked for a parts list due to the extremely high price and where the parts were from and for one part alone they charged 2300 and when I called the same place they perchused the part from was told it cost 1500. But they held my truck hostage at that price until paid so I paid them and got my truck back and it looked horrible it was dirty there was a blown sub woofer and when I looked at the milage compared to the milage on the receipt it showed that someone drove 150 miles on the truck with out my consent. After a week the truck started doing the same thing it did originally and I brought it back they looked at it and 10 minds later said they fixed it so I left and three days later the same issue happened again. I truly believe they did nothing but reset the computer Everytime and then charged me over 50000 for it they are the biggest scam I have ever encountered. Horrible service and lies. Dont get scammed by them go anywhere else.

Fast repairs I’m happy with the price and how professional they where

So far it’s one star service. They have had my truck for over two weeks. Around 17 days. They told me it would be three days at the most.On the 19 of March they should have officially started work. “ Oli” told me that it should be done the 21st ( Saturday), the latest would be Monday ( the 23rd).Monday I called to check on things and they told me they were waiting on a part.Tuesday I called and I was told the same thing. Both times I was assured it would arrive by end of day. Wednesday I was told that there was a delay in the trucks and it would not arrive till Friday. That’s Friday the 27th of March. On Friday I was told that the part arrived damaged and would have to be sent back. And I was told Tuesday (the 31st) work would be complete. On Tuesday I called. I was put on hold and then they hung up. This happened twice till I threatened to go down there. They told me Oli was with a customer and would return my call. Oli called me back later on to tell me that the part was delivered to the wrong address and my truck wouldn’t be ready till Friday. This of course is ridiculous and Oli started to become belligerent and sarcastic trying to talk over me. When things cooled down Oli told me that he might have my truck ready Thursday and he would call me Wednesday to let me know. I didn’t here from him Wednesday or Thursday. Today is Friday. It is 1300. Afternoon already. As of right now I have not heard back from them.DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!! The other reviews are probably fake. These guys are not cheap. You are paying dealership prices without the dealership professionalism. I can’t speak to the quality of their work yet as I still do not have my truck. But I can tell you that I’ve already spoken to another mechanic to double check their work. Because I do not trust them.

No transmission place is good theyll talk you into a good deal then come up with the fine print dont let them tell you theyll work with you,, when you are told they wont charge for diagnosed check its bull and when they say well let you think about it dont think quickly pick your vehicle and go.... there going to charge you storage fee I loss my car to these guys wanted to charge half of what the repair was for storage no thanks next time try Lalos or some other junkyard you get better results

Horrible service, they will steal from you!!!! dude at the front gave us ridiculous price for transmission repair. Was probably better off getting a new one with the price he gave us. Found out he gave exact same price to two other people so I doubt there were three different customers with the same exact transmission issues! Also missing a charger from my car, business must not be so good if they’re out here stealing chargers. Avoid yourself the scam and don’t go here!

I was told I needed a new transmission so I took it to them for a free check up and it turned out it was my CV Axel and speed sensors. It’s been driving great since and it saved me thousands in un-need it I will continue to take it to them.

I paid 900 to get my transmission done somewhere else and it didn’t even last a week, so when I brought it to coxco the treated me very well, they checked my truck for free and then quoted me for the labor. Yes I’m paying 3 times than before but I’m taking a 5 yr warranty after so many bad experiences I’m glad I come to coxco just wish I hadn’t gone the cheap way

I brought in a 1997 Ford F350 with 300,000 miles on it, hard shifting, and the overdrive light flashing. For those who dont know, the OD light flashing is the equivalent of the check engine light, only for your transmission. I had it towed in (they paid for it!). I got an answer the same day it was towed in, which was your transmission is worn out, and must be either rebuilt or replaced.. Danny (the owner) was very kind to me, and walked me through it, and even showed me my transmission, and the worn out guts. I gave him a down payment, and turned them loose.They got it done in about 3 days. In addition to rebuilding the transmission, they;1. replaced the serpentine belt2. replaced the tensioner3. replaced the mechanical fuel pump4. replaced the fuel hoses.And they did those 4 things at -cost-. only charged me for parts.In short, I am a very happy customer.Total cost was 3,056.45. Granted, thats a lot of money, but given the work done, I cant really complain.

Just noticed they took my iPhone charger. My wife called ask asked them about it and Oli said, “ma’am, no one here gets paid enough to afford an iPhone”.

Where do I begin? Well on May 9, 2016 I decided to take my 2000 Lexus ES to their shop since my second gear took longer than normal to shift when the transmission was cold. All other 3 gears of the 4 speed transmission were fine. I visited the shop and spoke with a Rudy. I explained after the car warmed up and pass the C on the thermostat, the second gear shifted fine. They charged me $590 to take out the transmission to see what the issue was. Rudy later told me that the second gear was sticking and he suggested to rebuilt the transmission. I asked why cant they just replace the second gear? Rudy said they cant do that, it needs to be rebuilt. So as transmission specialist I believed them, they gave me a repair estimate around 2k! Since the transmission was already out I gave them the ok to start repairs. A week later I called Rudy to see if my car was ready; however, a man by the name of Ronny who claimed to be the manager said he had no Rudy working for him. I told him that was impossible, since Ive been working with Rudy. Ronny seemed real cold over the phone and for a manager, he had horrible people skills. The next day a man by the name of Dominic called and said my car was done. I paid the man for the service, asking what happen to Rudy? Dominic did not answer my question, I was thinking no big deal... I got into my car to leave, with my engine slightly warm unable to determine if the second gear repairs were completed or not. The next morning as Im going to work I take off at normal speeds and notice that the second gear was still sticking, it was as if nothing was ever done! I took the car back the next day Dominic said they would look at the issue. Several days later he called me and said the throttle cable was adjusted. After work I went by their shop to pick up my car, I asked Dominic to jump in for a test drive since the engine was cold....Once again that second gear was sticking. Dominic did not have an answer and said that is the way it is....As a side note Dominic is a nice guy, as a director in my profession Ronny should take a lesson or two from Dominic....However, a week later after sleepless nights of feeling like a sucker, I went to the shop again in person and spoke with Ronny (June 6th/Monday), I explained my anger and frustration stating that I feel as if I was taken advantage of. He asked for me to drop off the car again, refusing to make eye contact with me. I CANT DO THIS ANY MORE! I dont want to be taking my car to them on a weekly bases! I want what I paid for! I plan to file a complaint with the BBB to get some of my money back so I can repair my Lexus properly. If Im unable to resolve the matter, I will be addressing the matter through a civil complaint with the justice of the peace to get some of my money back to I can have an authorize shop truly repair my second gear. IM WRITING THIS REVIEW OUT OF TRUTH AND NOT ANGER, PLEASE USE CAUTION WITH THIS SHOP.

They picked up the car for free and it was to be checked only for an estimate. When we went the next day to pick up the car, we were being charged $550 to put all parts back in if we were not having the repair done with coxco, the other option is apply for credit to have work done for $2,500 .Never during our conversations was this told to us. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THEM . As we were leaving another customer was very upset about the same thing. WHERE IS YOUR INTEGRITY ! WORD OF MOUTH GOS FAR .THIS IS NOT THE END OF IT,THEY WILL BE INVESTIGATED .
