From the first phone call, the professionalism and friendliness was wonderful after experiencing the complete opposite at a different dealership. I spoke with Mike in the Service department and he was helpful and professional. I was able to drop off my vehicle the evening before my scheduled appointment and after the work was completed one day sooner, the pick-up and checkout was smooth and easy. Everyone I spoke with at Ancira Kia on Bandera made me feel welcome and valued considering this was my first time at this location. I will definitely continue taking my vehicle here for service and will purchase my next vehicle from them. Thank you Ancira KIA!!

Everyone at Ancira are the friendliest people you would want to meet. I’m on my 2nd Kia Soul since 2012 from this dealer. They have an excellent service department. The salesperson we spoke to was very polite. I let him know I was there to look at the KIA Soul they had advertised online. He thought that all the Souls had been sold, but he was going to check. He was able to locate one that was having its window tinted. So we waited. Honestly my son did the negotiating with him. But Peter always made sure to look at me and confer with me too. I really appreciated that. We went through several negotiations and he listen to us. I was happy with the service and the price. Also the finance department was great. She showed us all the options we had. She was also very nice and very courteous. She gave us a great service and a great interest rate! I was very happy with her too.

I had the best experience with my sales representative, Kelly Murray. She went above and beyond to help me. No pressure and let me pick the vehicles I wanted! Annette was my finance person and she was a delight as well! She made sure I was comfortable with the terms of my loan and made sure I got the best deal. I highly recommend them both! I bought my vehicle here almost two years ago and have continued to go back for regular maintenance. The sales agents were not pushy when I bought my car and let me test a few vehicles out to confirm the style I wanted. The maintenance department has always taken good care of my vehicle and prior to the pandemic even offered complimentary car washes. Sometimes it may take a while get a simple oil change done but they’ll do their best to ensure you’re taken care of. Overall, I will continue to bring my vehicle here for maintenance and when I purchase my next vehicle, I will definitely start here.

I recently came to the store to shop for a reliable vehicle.I was met by a interesting sales staff, ambitious bunch ( Ill give em that)However I was met by the usual mentality that I couldnt drive their top trim vehicle due to Its fast and over 30K okay, lets think this out an average vehicle from Mercedes,Porsche or Audi and even Lexus start at 30k-40k, now I can go to any of those dealerships and test drive most vehicles today. Why in this blue and green earth, is a Kia Stinger any different ? Its slightly ridiculous when you see that mentality that as a buyer, I can only test drive cheap or expendable vehicles either way I took my money elsewhere.Their Vending machine did have a good selection of beverages and snacks. Thats why I gave 3 stars.

I no longer take my car here for service. I scheduled an appointment and told the young lady who kept trying to push unnecessary “dealer recommended” services on me, that I only wanted the scheduled maintenance on my car and that I needed a vehicle inspection. When I arrived to pick up my car, the female had allowed service I had not requested to be completed on my car (over $500 of extra charges). They had also not completed my vehicle inspection. No one offered to take the unrequested service off my invoice and I paid for it because I had just had spinal surgery and was in pain. I was just ready to go home. My Twin sister called to complain on my behalf and they were rude and dismissive towards her. She was told a manager would call her but that never occurred. This is not how other Kia service departments I have used conduct business. I was very disappointed with them.

When they finally want to do their job, they don’t do it right. Had to go to the manager the last 3 times i visited just to ensure the job would get done right. Staff will give you the run around and will lie directly to your face. I asked for a manger one time and the rude front office girl said he left and 5 mins later he came out his office. I have more instances of this type of behavior but way too long to type so basically It’s like pulling teeth to get questions answered or anything done and on top of all that they are RUDE about it. It’s the front end employees that ruin this place. Techs are cool tho

Everyone there is very nice, professional and helpful.I left my vehicle the day before cause I had a 7am appointment the next day For a recall. They provided me with a ride home and the next day by 300pm my vehicle was ready. They also vaccumed my mats and washed my wjndows. Of course there was no charge since it was a recall.

We bought a van they shouldnt have listed at the time because it needed so much work. They told us they detailed it not once but twice which was a lie because the first thing we had to do upon taking possession was get it detailed and it was so disgusting it was an extra $500 we werent planning on spending after purchasing a vehicle. There kept being delays on when we could pick up which made us have to rental a vehicle for a week and then they loaned us a vehicle which smelled like wet dog and had a broken window. To make up for the inconvenience of taking three weeks to get is the vehicle they gave us passes to Splashtown, but not enough for our whole family. I love my van now, but wouldnt recommend Ancira Kia used cars to anyone.

I wanted to wait a couple of months before I took the time to write a review. My engine was worked on and I wanted to make sure there were no issues with the servicing. 2 months after the fact and everything is working like a dream, they replaced my entire engine! Needless to say, the service and overall experience I had with this place was incredible. From point A to Z, the customer service was above and beyond the standard of what a good business should have. Adnan took care of me through the entire process and the rest of the team was extremely pleasant to deal with as well. They covered my broken window when it was raining, shook my hand when I dropped the car off after hours, and were informative and polite throughout the entire process. I cant thank Adnan and his team enough for their help. Also shoutout to the mechanic for doing an impeccable job! I will definitely be purchasing my next car from Ancira Kia, they made a long term customer out of me.

If you are looking for A+ customer service, go ask for Dalton or JP in sales and Mitch in finance. They worked tirelessly for me when I went to purchase my car. At first I was having a few issues with the previous car I had... nothing mechanical, it was just to small for my daily needs. I went in a talked with Phillip and then told me to discuss what I needed with Max. I told Max I needed a roomier vehicle and didnt want to feel smushed in my car. I have 4 other people are normally with me that needs to fit comfortably. He listened to what I wanted and showed me a couple of vehicles. I bounced back and forth and told him which one I liked but wasnt sure if it would be affordable..He helped me get the car. He listened to what I wanted,answered all my questions directly and with no bs answers,he treated both me and my daughter with alot of respect. When making an appointment for an oil change MAKE SURE you ask how long the wait will be so that you can decide whether you want to wait or drop off the vehicle. I had a 9:00 am appt. and am just being told it will take 2 hours before they get to it. If I wouldve been told that when I made my appointment I couldve made arrangements to have someone follow me so I could drop off the car, instead Im stuck here...inconveniently ...having to wait. The service person that informed me about the 2 hour wait had a smirk on his face and seemed to care less when I expressed my dissatisfaction. So much for customer service! MR. ****WARNING****** Be careful with ANCIRA KIA!!! My husband and I were looking for a car and sent in our information online to find out about one we were interested in. We got a call from the Internet sales representative MARY ARELLANO. Soon after I found that she had started text messaging my husband and they were having an affair!!! This woman used the company’s private information for her personal use. This means she has my home address and when he tried to end things with her, she continued to call and call and harassed him. I don’t even feel comfortable in my home knowing that she has access to all our personal information now. THINK TWICE ABOUT THIS BEFORE YOU ENTER ANY INFORMATION INTO THIS COMPANY WEBSITE!! We just wanted to get a new car and now we no longer have a family. I’m sure this woman has done this before and if she is still employed by this company, the company obviously doesn’t care much about their customers. I got a 2020 Kia Rio from drivetime, the car had 30,000Miles. Had it for about two weeks and the transmission was bad. At least that’s what they said. They’ve had the car for almost two months with no rental and won’t let me trade it. I’m becoming furious. Why Am i paying $430 a month for a car i don’t have. I’m looking at the reviews and there’s a lot of 5 star ratings. I’ll rate them one. I don’t recommend this dealership to ANYONE. I shouldn’t be forced to pay for a car that’s practically a lemon. I’ll be filling a complaint with the state attorney general and the bbb. I’ll be calling Monday to let them know.

We have a 2018 Kia Soul, it stopped running on the freeway and my fiancé almost got hit several times. The car was taken to Acira Kia and were told we new a NEW ENGINE .We contacted Kia directly asking for help because there was no reason for the car to need a new engine with only 68,000 miles. Kia told us we would have an answer in 72 hours, the nothing for a week. We called every few days, on hold for over 2 hours to be told, we dont know. And Kia never called us as promised.( we are secondary owners of the car so Kia only offers a 60,000 mile warranty not the 100,000 for original owners) - Gee I wonder why?I called Ancira asking for help. They called me back the next day and told me they couldnt do anything since there is no recall. Well I already knew that. But they didnt care and then told me it would cost $11,500 to repair!!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING MESo I took the Kia Soul to a local mechanic that my friend trusts. The timing went bad and it cost me $900 to repair, not the $11,5000 Ancira wanted.I will never buy a KIA again nor anything from the Ancira group. I dont believe they are trustworthy based on my experience.

After quite a bit of research I decided I wanted to purchase k5, so I stopped by Ancira with my preaproval letter in hand. Not one staff member even acknowledged me or my family. I looked at several vehicles outside, then even went inside to look at the showroom k5, and again... not one person said a word to us. Saw a group of salesman and what appeared to be a manager congregating around a golf cart, but they were apparently too busy conversing to try and make an easy sale.

I wish that I was able to provide a zero star option for this one, but unfortunately 1-star is the least I am able to give. My family and I are originally from Lubbock, TX and recently moved here to San Antonio. Lubbock is where I purchased my Wife’s new 2021 Kia Sorento and it was time for her first oil change. After searching and looking at different dealership options Ancira Kia located at 6139 Bandera rd. is where I landed. This particular location isn’t one of convenience for me, but made this choice because Ancira has a GMC dealership, and I own a GMC Sierra and their location in Boerne treated me right.The process to get something as simple as an oil change wasn’t easy from the beginning. When I placed my first call I was told that the earliest available appointment would be about a week and a half. I proceeded to let the young lady know that I would need to check my schedule and call back. She did mention that If I decided to come in as a walk-in the wait would be about 3-4 hours.I called back the next day and went ahead and scheduled and like before the first available was a little longer, which I had to understand, because I waited. Before I continue please allow me to preface that both times I called, the customer service agents that I spoke to were less than pleasant and quite honestly seemed like they were having a bad day or just don’t enjoy their jobs.So, upon confirming my appt. via text and in the interim of waiting I received notification of a recall in the mail. This prompted me to make a 3rd call and advise the dealership of the recall with hopes that this could be corrected at the time of my oil change appointment or at the very least looked at. I was then greeted with yet another grumpy girl, who I ended up hanging up on, calling back hoping to get someone different which I did and transferred me to the writers’ counter. This guy explained that they would take a look at it and if they could fix they would, otherwise they would have to look at another appointment date for which I understood.Today is the day and I showed up about 30 minutes prior to my 11am time knowing that they would have to gather my information for the system and add to the discussion of the recall and oil change. I waited a few minutes in my car in the service bay drive thru waiting to be greeted and quickly found out this wasn’t Lubbock, TX or Ancira GMC. Upon entering the establishment I was greeted and quickly spoke to Placido. We walked outside to my vehicle and he gathered information, as I again mention the recall and an additional issue with the Apple Car play. He indicated, as I was told before that they would try to get my recall fixed, but the Apple Car Play may need to require another appointment. Ok, that’s fine.He then directs me inside and shows me the area for which I would wait while I’m getting my oil changed. While I’m getting settled in Placido comes back and says to me that the wait for my Oil change would be 1-1/2 to 2 hours. “WHAT; YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME?…FOR AN OIL CHANGE? What’s the point in making an appointment, for which I received the response, appoitments only guarantee the service, not the time it takes. Who has time to wait 2 hours? At this point I am beyond upset. I immediately asked to speak to the General Manager, the answer, “He is in a meeting”. What about the Service Manager, “He is in a meeting too”. Wow, I hope they are discussing the lengthy lead time, horrible customer service and lack of urgency.Good luck to any who attempt a visit to ANCIRA KIA Serivce. I should have trusted my instincts from jump and the first rude call. First impressions are a lasting impression.

I just took my vehicle for a massive recall that KIA motors is running due to engine issues on 2013 Kia Optimas. My engine went out. But after speaking with Ernan tge service manager he advised me that they would take care of me and get my vehicle repaired ASAP. That made me feel at ease.

Time for new car shopping. Went to look at the cars in Anciras show room. At first glance the elevated section of Bandera makes their location appear cut off, but the cut under was no more than 50 feet further than I would have driven. The dealership building looks a bit small.. Several of the models could only be seen around outside in front or back, due I would guess to lack of floor space. Ill be reviewing all the dealerships I will be going to over the next couple months, first on my impression of the physical plant, then back to add the sales side.

Awesome Service Department For My KIA for Last Ten Years! I have a 2011 Kia Optima EX with 124,000 miles. Javier Gomez and his awesome service department has taken care of all my Sérvice & recall repairs since I bought my KIA at Ancira ten years ago. I would not take my KIA to another other service departments ever, including when we live in New Braunfels for 3 years and Timberwood Park now

I do not recommend this dealer. Sales personnel refused to sell a car without Accessories. You can get the same car at least $1,000 cheaper somewhere else in town. In this case, they wanted $395 for window tint, wheel locks for $229, and some other stuff not everyone wants. These are dealer added and not required by Kia. I was told my the sales person the manager also refused to sell a car without accessories.

Waiting 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation and that is with an appointment. Terrible service. Rude associates. I suggest World Car Kia for anything you need for your Kia... I have have bought 2 Kia vehicles from this location.. have done 95% of my vehicle service for the last 10 years but going forward I will be using world car kia... and hopefully have better service experiences. To be fair the sales reps are good... and 10 years ago the service department was top notch... but in recent years the service has sucked. Loyalty to this business kept me coming back but that ends today. Read the customer reviews... thay speak for themselves.

Okay I rarely write reviews, but I really just couldn’t NOT for Ancira. I only bought my car from them (a stunning 2021 Kia Soul who now goes by the name Ziggy for the late David Bowie) a few weeks ago but already I am so impressed by their service and dedication to their customers. David, who sold me my car was patient and kind, taking my needs into consideration as well as my budget. Mitch in finances was like that protective older brother who wants to make sure you’re getting the best options to protect yourself but not break your bank, and Chris in Parts helped me out of a huge pickle of my own making. I lost my passenger side mat while cleaning my car for the first time because I’m a dingus and left it on top of my car, and Chris found me a mat in less than a day and put my nerves at ease. Honestly, this team rules and I’m so glad I went with them to purchase my new car from. I always feel like I have someone to call no matter what issues I run into and it’s a fantastic feeling. Highly recommend this dealership!

Me and my wife were ready to buy a vehicle, my wire talk with sells agent and she told him that she was ready to buy and we were ready to give the money and one of the sales person make us drive from Austin to San Antonio and in the middle of our way to SA he call back and say that the vehicle was sold to someone else. very very disappointed

Dont buy a car here unless you want them to slip an extra $3,000 service plan into your paperwork. I declined firmly at least 20 times. Instead of listening to me they took advantage of an inexperienced car buying. Ended up paying $13,700 for a car listed at $7,998.Save yourself time and money and stay away from this place.
