I have used these guys for about 10 years now. They serviced our water softener and RO in my old home and when we purchased a new home they serviced that system. Now they manage our home water system and rental house system. Always on time, parts in stock, great service and council on products.

When I was shopping for a new water softener 10 years ago I stopped in to Alpha Filtronics. The attention I was given was impressive. The equipment I purchased at that time, has also been impressive. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable, as are those that work there. No over-the-top displays or gimmicks; just honest information with no sales pressure. I go in regularly to buy salt and always receive the same level of attention as I did that first time. The time is approaching to buy a new system-probably one that not only softens the water, but also purifies it for the whole house. I know where that purchase will be made!

I have been dealing with Alpha Filtronics for as long as I can remember. I am on my second water softener system only because my first one lasted so long I had to replace it because of the giant steps that had been made in efficiency and ease of use since I bought my first system. Cyrus is a gem and is willing to share as much technical information as you are willing to accept. He does not push overpriced products. He shows you the value of the different systems and what you can expect from each. I have referred Alpha Filtronics to both family and friends and to the person they bought systems (water softening and/or reverse osmosis) that met their needs with NO pressure at the point of sale.I just installed my 2nd RO. What a gorgeous system. It was so easy to install given I already had an RO system. But looking at it objectively, as a DIY guy it wouldnt have been much of a challenge as a new install. Please dont go to HomeDepot or Lowes and expect to get either a water softener or reverse osmosis system that has a user life worth considering. Even if you are looking at selling your property, cheap is still cheap.I have been given nothing other that good products at reasonable pricing for everything I have purchased at Alpha Filtronics.Thanks Cyrus

Moved into town recently and quickly realized a water softener is a must here in San Antonio. These guys were great. Family owned so they have a lot to lose if they are not great. Didnt push anything, but gave me all options and costs and gave me as much info to help me make a decision. The owner himself came out day of installation to supervise and make sure the job was well done. They followed up with me a couple of weeks later and came out to make sure everything was running properly. Came out a SECOND time a few months later to check again. Awesome people and awesome service!

We were very impressed with the experience and knowledge of the owner which helped to educate us on the entire water softener industry and pick the right unit for our home. Their communication was excellent, and the installation went smoothly. We have been enjoying our purified soft water for about a month now, and its great to be able to drink from the tap. Ive done business with Alpha Filtronics for a long time now and every time I have dealt with them they have been professional in every way. We shopped around a lot before we decided to buy a water softener and no one had more knowledge than Cyrus, who came to our home and was patient enough to explain all of the systems to us and answer all of our questions and gave us a great price on the system we wanted. Highly recommended. Weve had an AF Water Softener for more than a decade and in that time its needed service ONCE. Any time Ive called them AF has been beyond professional and kind. I send everyone who asks to them.

I went with Alpha Filtronics after a neighbor recommended them. They sell various brands of water softeners so you have options. I initially got the water softener and reverse osmosis for my drinking water, however, I changed my mind about the reverse osmosis last minute. I was not pressured to keep it, nor did Cyrus get annoyed by my last minute change. He was professional, honest, super knowlegable, and even came out to my home to do the final inspection on the installation. This kind of service is hard to find these days in any business. Cyrus and all of the staff were very kind and value their customers. I highly recommend Alpha Filtronics for your water softener needs!

I needed a part for an RO I was installing and Mr Cyrus was so pleasant and took his time to help me figure out the parts and I needed and he had them in stock. I will be coming back to them since they offer great old timer customer service. I asked him how long he’d been in the water service indicated and he’s been doing it for 40 years and 20 years at this location. I’m glad to support a local business.
