My husband and I came in today to get our noses pierced🤗 Amber was so great & sweet about everything! She answered all questions, and explained the after care/process so thoroughly. I was worried about getting my septum done in general, but she was super helpful before, during, and after! 10/10 get your piercings done by amber 🥰 Definitely would not mind either getting a tattoo from this place. Originally went to Inception tattoos to get my Smiley pierced the girl who ended up piercing my Medusa was amazing very informative told me that I could not get my smile pierced because I didnt have enough skin Im grateful for that because I didnt want it to mess up she did a great job informing me of everything that I needed to do to take care of it she made me feel comfortable and wanted me to love it and I do and its healing great

I called the shop at 4:42pm to schedule an appointment on my girlfriends behalf for her birthday. Her friends were to bring her to the shop as a surprise. I was looking for something quick and simple. The woman on the phone expressed that the shop did custom tats and required consultations. She explained that so long as the tattoo was simple enough for the artist to draw and complete within the hour she could book the appointment without the need of a consultation. So I scheduled for artist Rooster at 7:00 p.m.When my girlfriend and her friends arrived no one in the shop was aware that they had an appointment. They claimed that Rooster and other shop members were extremely rude and condescending. They subsequently left the shop.I called the shop to see what the mix-up was and the woman who answered the phone was also rude and condescending. She did not allow an opportunity for me to fully communicate the details on how I made the appointment and only emphasized that the artist did not do that type of artwork and the shops policy as the basis for which the group was turned away. She did not address the underlying issue which was that someone did in fact book the appointment. I thanked her for the information and hung up.To add insult to injury the woman called me back about 5 minutes later and began to express that she offered the group another artist to complete the work at a shop minimum of $100 each. She said that the group refused to pay and so its their fault that they did not receive a tattoo.Later my girlfriend did confirm that another artist was offered but that it was not the cost that turned them away. They decided to seek a different shop because of the poor service and negativity that they experienced.Im sure the shop does great work and I hope that they improve their internal communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills. Theres no reason to speak down at potential customers because of confusion, confusion that you generated in the first place. If the company doesnt engage in certain types of work and has certain requirements that should have been communicated in the first place and the appointment should have never been accepted. The woman who booked the appointment never stepped up to confirm and clarify her role in the confusion. No accountability. No apology, nothing. The atmosphere over the phone was as if we were beside ourselves to even think that the shop did flash tattoos. Like it was beneath them. I cant imagine what my girlfriend and her friends experienced in person.Luckily they were able to find a shop with much better service and my girlfriend was still able to enjoy her birthday.

I arrived on my birthday with 3 friends to get a simple tattoo and the service was horrible. We were booked by a woman at the shop beforehand and when we arrived, the Tattoo artist, Rooster said he didnt have us in his list. He had poor customer service. We had to figure out what went wrong when it was their job to figure out why they had made a booking and didnt record it or communicate amongst themselves. My friend then explained to Mr. Rooster what the tattoo was and he rudely said he only does sleeves, or intricate work, but the person who booked us did not say this when we explained beforehand. Rooster rudely said another artist would have to do it. Finally there were two artists available who handled us like it was a chore they didnt want to do. We decided to take out service to another tattoo shop where customer service is a priority and egos are not so inflated.

I recently got some work done here by Enkayia. I also got my first piece done by him and both times went by great. I really appreciate the time he takes to make sure everything is clean and sanitized properly. Will definitely be returning again

I went in as a walk in to see if i could get a black band tattoo on my wrist/forearm. They got to me immediately, and helped me out. Kind, professional, and fast too! Enkayia was my artist, and i definitely recommend his work! Super satisfied.

I was researching places to get a tattoo in honor of my wife, who passed away unexpectedly last year. I checked out a couple of other highly rated places, one near my home and another one near my work but for some reason, decided to visit Inception. I met Rooster outside and told him what I wanted to get. I got an appointment for the next day and he did a fabulous job. I am more than happy with my tattoo. Rooster is a man who is very gracious and kind and I was blessed to have found him. He helped to turn a day I had been dreading into a day of celebration. I love Inception Tattoos. I only go here for any tattoos or piercings. They are always informative and make sure you know what youre getting. They give honest recommendations for and against things which I love since this is something permanent you are doing to your body. If someone says something went wrong from this shop it was probably that individuals fault.

(14 OCT 19). I’ve gone here like 4 times since I’ve lived here and they’ve always been pretty cool. They’re very accommodating, they have been super professional and the work comes out really cool. They don’t just do exact pictures though so if you want an exact copy of something they don’t like to do that. Also last time we checked they didn’t have a piercer (that was back in July). They’ve never done anything to disappoint me however so I gotta give them 5 stars.

Absolutely amazing! I had a consultation with Stephanie in regards to reworking a preexisting tattoo. Flushing it out, and adding to it. She took my ideas, and elaborated on them in a way only a true artist could. I was so excited after speaking with her. My excitement was well founded. Stephanies enthusiasm, skill, and overall artistry is truly astounding. Watching her work, applying colors with such a painterly technique was a pleasure to behold. The end result = stunning. Why anyone would go to another shop, I dont know. Some of the top-rated shops I visited before going to Inception made me feel degraded and as if they didnt want me there, so..... I left. Inception wasnt too busy to make me and a friend feel welcome and like our ideas were good. The work that Matt did on my calf was incredible and all that I could ask for. Same goes for Lunchbox and the tattoo she did for my friend. Awesome job guys, keep up the good work and great atmosphere. People, yall would be crazy to go anywhere else.

Vanessa did a fantastic job taking care of our sweet girl. Initially we went in for a consult and she explained the process and showed our baby girl all of the tools she would be using. She was very responsive through email with all of my husbands questions. When we came back to get our daughters ears pierced she put on a movie to help distract her and gave her time between each ear to calm down. There were very few tears as youll notice from the pic taken right after. Our older daughter had hers done at the mall and this was a much better experience!!! Additionally I am a surgical tech and I really appreciated how clean everything was and that sterilized tools were used.

My sister and I flew into town to see our father, and meet each other for the first time. We wanted to mark the occasion with a new piece. A sisters tattoo. We had an appointment at South Paw but the artist did not seem interested in our story, nor working with us.. (which is how we found Steph)! She is fabulous! She did an amazing job... I plan on having a few more pieces done before I head back to SC... I highly recommend Steph, or any of the artists that I seen at Inception! 5 stars forsure!!!

My wife and I were washing clothes next door and went over to the shop to see what they had, when we walked in we first noticed the prices on the wall, then a lady came up looking stressed or mad and asked if she could help us, I asked about the pricing on the wall that said 150 per hour and she said yes and that they have been there for 10 years very rudely like we shouldnt have even been there. Not once did she smile or treat us nicely! Bad customer service. i asked her if someone could quote me on some shading on my back and she just stared at me, i said can you look at it and give me a price, she then said yes. She quoted me $200-$250 dollars and I thanked her then walked out. Fist time and last time we will ever go there. I have a lot of friends that still need work along with myself and we will keep looking elsewhere. Horrible first experience.
