This is the best place for pools and everything you need for a pool. The environment inside the store is always great. They answer everything question and take time to explain everything even when they are busy and the store is packed. I never feel rushed when asking about chemicals and how to use them. Brian and Richard are the best!

We made the order for our pool mid may they gave us a install date for the beginning of August they are almost 2 weeks late on our install we just called the installers and told us it would be at least another week late, but yet they can give us an exact date. Is this what you are talking about? Would really appreciate if Roger would just give us a date 😡😡😡

When I initially was looking to get an above ground pool I reached out to several companies. They all told me my yard was not big enough. A-Tex was the only company that asked me for a survey, said it would be tight but suggested having Roger do a site visit to make sure. JoAnn was so responsive, detailed, knowledgeable, friendly, and understanding. Im not sure she ever sleeps as she would often respond to my emails late at night. I am so thankful how easy she made the process.Shortly before installation, Richard went over exactly how to take care of the pool complete with demonstration in the store. He convinced me to upgrade to an Oxygen pool system. I am so glad he took the time to give me that option. Its amazing! Now every time I go into the store to have my water tested, he always greets me with a smile and his sarcasm (which I love). And yes, they test your water for free and tell you exactly what to do in order to correct it if needed.My installation got pushed back about a month due to weather but that was very understandable considering all the rain we have gotten this year. Roger was very good at keeping me updated though. He even ordered the sand for me.Roger agreed to let me not be there for install since it had gotten pushed back and he had done a site survey before. This is not usual and not preferred but due to the size of my yard there was really only 1 option. He asked me to draw a diagram as to where the pool was going to go. It looked like a 2 year old drew it but I guess he was able to figure it out. Just kidding, he called me as soon as he got to my home and we went over the plan.I went home on my lunch break to check out the progress. I was greeted by Roger, Mike, and Alex. They were all super friendly and hard working. Even better, they were installing the pool right where I wanted. It was super hot out and I think they even got rained on a few times but they got the job done shortly after I got home from work. After they were finished with the installation, they stayed and chatted with my friends and I for awhile which made me feel even more like a part of the A-Tex family.Thank you so much JoAnn, Richard, Roger, Mike, Alex, and the rest of the A-Tex family. I couldnt be happier and I highly recommend this small family owned business. They are simply amazing!

We had a great experience! This was the 4th place we went to for purchasing a hot tub and we are glad we made it to A-Tex because it was the best hot tub for the price we wanted to spend, compared to all other locations (by far). Also, they didnt try to up-sale us with add ons and accessories. We will definitely be coming back when its time to get a pool table!

AMAZING at everything they do!We are filling our pool in as I type... and it was NOT an easy job!I emailed an inquiry when I first came across their website and I immediately got a response with pool types, prices, brochures and directions as what to do next.We went into ATEX and the pool purchase is quick and right to the point which is great. Pick your size depth... walk around and look at pools etc.The waiting list is long for pool installation and I asked Bryan if they had anyone else they could recommend as I was anxious to put in our pool. He said they only trust their crew and now I know why!This is we’re the real gem of ATEX came in for us!THEIR INSTALLATION CREW!!!!❤️❤️❤️Our backyard in on a pretty big slope and I brought drawings and measurements of the backyard because I felt like it would be a tricky install. Bryan assured me it would be fine, but I don’t think he truly understood the scope of the job. I didn’t know much about pool installs so I just went with it. He believed from the pictures it would be a pretty easy install. They are super super busy because of their awesomeness:) he said there would be no need for someone to come out before hand to make sure my idea would work.Joe and his crew came out on the EXACT day they were scheduled. My daughter was having a birthday party and we were so excited to get the pool installed before and Joe knew about the party and wanted to get it done for it as well. He looked at the job and new it was going to be difficult. He got started with the original plan, but after about an hour and a half of work he realized it would be too dangerous. Instead of giving up he suggested a new plan (the only possible plan in his mind) that ended up being even more work in the end for him, but much safer for the grounds of the pool as well as him on his bobcat!Long story short.... we went in thinking one idea showing measurements and pictures at purchase time and came out with a pool in a totally different spot and way different than we first imagined. Joe and his crew were positive and friendly and accommodating the whole three days it took to put in the pool. They took maybe one real break to eat lunch one day, but other than that worked and were very friendly to not only me, but to each other as well.So thank you ATEX for my beautiful pool, but most important THANK YOU to Joe and the wonderful crew you sent out to do the work!!!

I am so glad that I made the switch to purchase our pool from Atex! We had originally purchased from a local competitor but had several issues with communication and availability so we cancelled. Joann was very responsive and helped us choose the correct pool and provide an installation date the same day. Installation is further out than I hoped but in the long run, I know I made the right decision by choosing Atex. USA made and family owned! I cannot wait until we get our pool!

A-Tex had the pools but sold out of them. Above ground choices with a size for big yards. Greeted and got to see the pool we wanted and pricing too.

After weeks of shopping for a pool, we finally decided on one and who to go to. Bryan was very helpful and answered all of our questions. 1st time buying a hard frame, always just bought an Intex, which held up 3yrs but SNOWMAGEDDON messed up our liner. Intex Pools are now up in price so we spent a bit more on a hard frame, and they are doing the installing. Its gonna take a bit because they are very busy with everyone buying pools. This is Texas its HOT!! Understandable. The price was right, he itemized everything, what we are getting and paying for. What they are doing and what we have to do. Everything in plain sight no small print or hidden fees. Never pushed any Ole sales pitch on us. Our appt. Date cant get here fast enough. We cant wait! Thanks Bryan!

They NEVER make you feel like you are on this new adventure alone. Joann was AMAZING, extremely transparent and always shared special tips and documents that made the entire process seamless. The extra added seminar to familiarize you with your purchased product and the ability to have your water tested and diagnosed immediately is a great add. We purchased our pool last year July 2019. From the moment we walked into the store until we walked out the customer service we received was awesome! It was our first pool purchase and Joann was wonderful! She answered all of our questions and we never felt rushed or pressured to buy. A year later we have not had any problems or complaints about our pool. We even trusted A-Tex to give us a referral to a company to have a pool deck built. Called to ask for information about their pools on Monday they had several, called Wednesday same week and the guy that answered the phone said they were sold out. I asked when will you be getting more in he said March of next year, tried to thank him for his time then he just hung up. Not sure if he is the owner but glad his business is doing so well to afford to be rude to future customers.

It’s been almost a month having our pool and we couldn’t be happier. I can count on one hand the days we haven’t been in it and that was cause of weather. Service after purchase is still phenomenal. They were the only company that actually took the time to help us during this pandemic. From the beginning to the install by Roger and his team things have been great. Highly recommend.

A good family pool company with high knowledge of pools. Access to company may be hindered due to the demand. We bought the 30 foot pool and with all the bells and whistles and it has been a great investment. Only advice I would give is to participate and watch the installation carefully. If you are unsure or have questions bring them up at the time.

Outstanding customer service and knowledgeable in work. I was having trouble getting my pump to suction the water. I was thinking I was going to need a new pump. I explained to the salesperson what was happening and he suggested I check the hoses for leaks and I purchased some hoses but were too short. I when back on Monday and another salesmen Rocky helped me and also made other recommendation still not pushing for me to purchase a pump. I appreciate that the salesman’s took the time to help the customer and it reflects that A-Tex Above Ground Pool is highly recommended for your pool needs. Thank you

We were shopping for a pool this summer, we had originally gone to another store and put a small deposit down because our kids were super excited about getting a pool this summer. But we did a few more research and came to see A-Tex and their prices. After doing our research it turned out A-Tex had much better prices, so we decided to switch companies and purchase with A-Tex, we went in late in the day while they were closing, and we were not rushed at all, they stayed to finish our transaction after store hours. We really appreciated the service we received from A-Tex and their staff. We were by far blown away from start to finish. We purchased our pool and 6 days later it was installed with no issues. Such a smooth transaction! As small business owners ourselves, we really felt that A-Tex really out did themselves with their service. We are so glad to be able to support small businesses vs corporate companies, that only care about making money. Jake was great and very respectful, and his wife was very nice also. They even threw in some freebies for our purchase. We were blown away by that. I am glad we made the decision to purchase with A-Tex.PS. At the beginning I was happy with my purchase and I was explained that the pool had 5 years warranty including the liner. 2 years later it started leaking and went to the store to ask about the warranty and they said it only covered the seam. So I ask if they can go look at it and in response they said I have to take it off and bring it myself. Not what I wanted to hear from a customer standpoint but it is what it is so now I will have to be reading the blueprints for everything I purchase.

Jake is absolutely fabulous. Several times I have gone in the store with problems ranging from how do I clear my pool from being green brown to helping with my pump. He takes the time to listen and help without spending a fortune. I have been an ATex customer for over 20 years and will continue in the future. Mrs Baker

Brian at A-Tex Pools and Spas was very informative, professional and courteous throughout the process of buying our spa from them. Along with a very reasonable price, they expeditiously handled and delivered the spa and included plenty of supplies. Highly recommend A-Tex if you want a spa, as we checked with other dealers in San Antonio and they were not as informative, professional, or reasonably priced.

New above pool ground owner! No clue what supplies I needed and these guys hooked me up. Explaining what. needed to be done to maintain safe/clean water levels. We really appreciated that! Will be back!

I bought a supply hose for my above ground pool it did not last a year it broke and caused me to lose over 1000 gallons of water which caused my pool to shift they have cheap products and a lot of their pricing is not labeled too expensive I bought a better hose at Leslie‘s pool supply and I now by my chemicals at In The Swim online ..Atex is too pricey For the type of products that you receive customer service is great of course but that’s all I can say positive.Message to owner: why carry different quality level hoses, why not just carry the best for your customers regardless instead of those cheap china made ones. i asked your staff for the correct hose for my pool and that is what he gave me, a cheaply made hose .

Nearly two months of waiting for a pool and even after they told us it would be on the next truck, they told us two days later they wouldnt know if its on the truck or not. Do fabulous communication there. Then we get the pool with a dvd instead of a paper manual. And on the dvd it needs you to select the pool type you got, well good for us that the one we got isnt on the list to select a manual. Love how they also didnt bother to explain any of this to us.

The service associate was very professional and helpful. He was also very informative, told us things we didnt know about pool maintenance. Didnt try and sale us things we didnt need. While we were there a customer came in he greeted her by name. He also gave us a military discount, my husband is a disabled veteran, he thanked him for his service . I saw the smile and gratitude exchanged between the two men. Very good service.

This place was the God sent of all pool places. I had been working on fixing up my pool for over a week. I wanted to do all the work myself (because i am stubborn female that way.) The employees where immediately able to help me, even though one was trying to enjoy his lunch break. The place had everything we needed and they didnt try to push off anything i didnt need. We originally bought our above ground pool from them 20 years ago. The service has been just as great as it was on day one. It didnt change after we bought our pool. They are always ready to help with any problems/issues with your pool.

My in laws bought a pool from here last year, and these guys had so much patience and really helped every step of the way in their purchase. This is their second pool from here and the first lasted a little over ten years. For sure we will be back for a third when this one has its final run in ten or so years! Thank you guys muchos!

Pump stopped working. Called A-Tex and talked to Brian. He said bring it on in, can probably just fix it. I bring in. He takes it back to his shop. 10 minutes later he calls me back, shows me it was a faulty cord, which he replaced, pump running like new again. $19. Had working pump reconnected back to my pool within 45 minutes of me removing it. Wish I could give 6 stars out of 5. Could have said, yep, its dead, buy this new one. Nope, he repaired, back in business in literally minutes. New A-tex customer for life.
