Great shop! So I have never dealt with a paint or body shop from a vehicle accident before but I must say if I ever need to I will be coming back here. Shop management is knowledgeable and accommodating talked me though the process and stayed on top of things to make sure my vehicle was taken care of right. They didnt cut corners but didnt take their time either. They knew my name and vehicle when I called to inquire on status and even washed my Nissan Rogue when I came to pick it up. They offered rental services arrangements but I didnt need it although the offer was appreciated. They were busy when I called AND when I stopped by in person but never put out the vibe that your time and business wasnt appreciated. If you need to have your vehicle taken care of check these guys out!
I recently had my truck repaired there. Its a small local repair shop but very effective and friendly. I turned in my truck on a Monday and was ready for pick up on a Thursday, needless to say repair time was quick and efficient. They were very customer friendly; the manager was great at explaining the whole repair process, very informative with the insurance appraisal, a great host offering coffee, and even called enterprise multiple times to come pick me up for my rental car. They were very understanding with the payment as well; I had to pay a $400 deductible, but didnt have my check book when I went to pay; they still let me pick my truck and pay the next day, since their credit card machine charged a ~3.5% per every $100. Overall I had a very satisfying repair shop experience getting my truck repaired there, especially in comparison to when I took my truck to get repaired at the over-booked, fast pace and not so friendly Caliber Collision repair shop on Culebra and 410.
I went in for an estimate and worked with Allen. Not only was he really educated on cars, he was also incredibly helpful with me. He went above and beyond. I really appreciated everything. Thank you!!
I dont understand the few bad reviews at all. JM and his crew at Texas Body & Paint are topnotch. Honest as the day is long and have done excellent work on my Corvette. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a good experience. But note that they are busy. Thats what comes with being good and the positive word-of-mouth that comes with it. Definitely check them out.
I wish all businesses were as nice and courteous as TX P&B are. They kept me informed the whole process thru, and well as treating me with respect. Im on my way back for a second round with them.
My son got his car fixed there. They did a fantastic job, very reasonable price. I recommend them highly.
I dealt with this shop twice so far. In both cases JM, the owner, was so incredibly kind and professional. The second time he even called me up a week or so after the work was done on my car to tell me he had to refund me for a part the shop discovered they didnt use! So I have nothing but praise for this shop and the great workers and JM. Im not swimming in gold, and price wise, high quality of work, they really helped me out! Even though I live on the other side of town, Ill definitely be back!
We had a front end collision with my 2002 Toyota Celica in 2015. This place was recommended by a friend and he had made repairs previously when my neighbor backed into the rear of my car, so I took it back there again. I should have seen the red flag when the owner immediately offered to buy my car. The reason its taken me so long to write a review is that Im only now seeing the worst repercussions of my experience with him.Back when he was doing the work he had trouble finding used/after market parts for my car. He ended up buying another Celica to use for parts. Red flag! When I got my car back it was missing the floor mats (He had to buy me new ones.); there was a hole in my console where they had removed a cap and another cap was missing from the dash (The interior of my car was not involved at all in the wreck! I wonder if these parts ended up in the other Celica.); a part for the seat belts was missing; the clock no longer worked; the driver side visor mirror was broken; the passenger side window switch was missing; the hydraulics no longer worked to hold the hatch open; the check engine light has never gone out despite multiple visits to the dealership. Soon after the repairs were finished I took the car to the dealership and they told me that under the hood they found multiple wires cut/damaged, not plugged in or plugged in incorrectly. I never wrote a review and just chalked all of this up to bad luck. The reason Im writing a review now is that I recently took my vehicle to the dealership for problems with the brakes and the ac. To my surprise, they told me the vehicle had the wrong front brakes and the wrong compressor. They both were parts not meant for/inappropriately installed in my vehicle. No one else has worked on it but the dealership and Texas Paint and Body. Draw your own conclusions. I had to give one star in order to post this, but...No stars!
They always do right by me. The work is above par and they help me with my deductible. Ive taken my own vehicles there every time theyve needed work and Ive referred many friends. 👍🏽
JM (owner) has helped me out a ton and I am grateful for his business. Hes professional, knowledgeable and friendly. His mechanic Enoc is excellent and always got things done quick and efficiently.
Three estimates and they beat everyone by $100+. Great work. Communication definitely needs to be better but for the money we were impressed. Solid recommendation to use for body work.
Great paint and body shop. I was completely impressed with this facility and their customer service. In fact, if given the choice I would come here before going to any chain body shop in SAN Antonio. JM (owner) went above and beyond what was required repairing my daughters car. The bumper was fixed perfectly AND they buffed out the paint imperfections on the car which were completely unrelated to the original work. These folks are great and treat you right. Thanks JM
There customer service sucks! The painters attitude and approach was very negative from the get go and wouldnt give me the time of day. I would rather take my car to a dealership and pay more knowing that Im receiving better service.
Honest quote. Safe place for your vehicle they park them inside
I had to give them 1 star just to rate it -10 stars in my book!By far the worst experience of my life! They had to pay for me to have a rental TWO other times (each time for a week) after I got my car back the first time because it looked horrible. Nothing was matching up on both of my passenger doors and so they ended up just moving my hood over and making that crooked, to match up the passengers side of my car. They put 4 dents in the front of my hood that JM said he had touched up. AKA dabbed some gray paint in the holes and called it a day. I finally told them to just leave it because I was so stressed out by the whole thing, and I knew by the THIRD time that they would NEVER fix it right! I would NEVER recommend them to do anything for me again. Sure they matched price of the paint and body shopped I WISH I would have went to, but caused me so much stress that I would have rather paid the other company $100+ more to do it!
Only place Ill take my vehicles for damage repair. The manager, J.M. treats every customer as a person, not just a cash source. Guides through every step of the repair process, work is performed in a timely manner, and in the three times Ive been there, each bill has been lower than the original estimate. Very highly recommend the team at TP&B!
