My rear bumper was damaged and needed to be replaced. Fast estimate, started work quickly, did excellent work, accommodated my schedule by finishing sooner than expected, reasonable pricing, and dealt with the insurance company when they tried to force after market parts. Great experience…would definitely use again. And Erica is awesome to work with!

After my trusted friend in the automotive industry referred me to Alamo Collision Center, I read the reviews. Immediately, I realized that there must be TWO Alamo Centers. Alamo Collision Center, not only by recommendation, but in my experience with them demonstrates that they do not and would not provide the poor service described in some of the comments. In fact, in some of the bad reviews, the named people do not work at Alamo Collision Center - they work at the other place.At 4 pm on a Thursday, when I took my Tacoma to Alamo for repair, Erica immediately reviewed the damage and gave me an estimate. Within the hour, we had made arrangements with the insurance company and an appointment for my truck.The attention to detail, the respect for my concerns and the exactness of follow through is the hallmark of their work, a reflection of their expertise.I highly recommend that anyone who wants excellent, fast service, to visit Alamo Collision Center. You will not be disappointed.Whomever put the poor reviews online should, in good conscious, retract their statements then attribute the terrible reviews to the larger company that is responsible.

Took my wife’s Ford Focus to get the front end repaired. I was told it would be ready by a certain time so I show up just so they tell me it’s not ready. I went back a total of 3-4x just to have issues fixed and in the end they still weren’t fixed. I was just tired of dealing with them by that time. Fast forward a few months getting it repaired at another shop and they tell me the headlights are not the same. Should be LED lights, the hood latch is not right which is why the hood doesn’t close right. The chrome grill wasn’t even to a focus, they just “made it fit.” Very unsatisfactory results. I would not recommend them at all.

Went in for an estimate one day and then next was in with my car for the work to get done! I had went to so many different places but everyone was trying to cheat me for more money and parts I didn’t need. This was a very professional team everyone was very informative and helpful! Great experience! Staff was friendly, and quick to get things done. They helped with my insurance claim, and since they had already done a quote, it was that much faster. They also knew my vehicle was all I had, so Victor had some of the guys come in on the weekend to finish it up, so that I could get it back by Monday. My car looked amazing! Alamo Collision was recommended to me by my mechanic. Alamo did a great job on my owner-paid Chevy suburban repair. It was a 7 crease in the rear drivers side quarter panel that stretched to the wheel well. Alamo made the repair in three days, which I wasnt expecting with the drizzly weather we were experiencing in San Antonio. The vehicle was appraised at CarMax shortly after the repair and no damage was noted by the appraiser (I did tell the checkin guy about it, but told him it was repaired). The work was completed quickly, the final price matched the original quote, the quote was less expensive than another big body shop, and you cant tell that a repair was made. Definitely will return for future work when needed.

Would not recommend, while the customer service is good the quality of work is not. They reccomended to the insurance company that my truck be fixed when it should have totalled. My truck is still not right, tail lights issues, used cheap chrome bumper I can bend with my hand. Reused pads and license plate lights which constantly fall out because they dont fit right in cheap bumper. One tire is balding on edge because something is misaligned even though truck drives straight. They used rivets to attach gas tank fill tube to body and is now starting to come loose. Took it ba back to get lights fixed, when I picked up the truck after they fixed them, they fell out again on the way home. Decided to cut my losses and never let this place touch my truck again.

I have taken many of my vehicles here and I am never disappointed . I would highly recommend them to anyone ! Some parts from my truck were stolen and sadly I was left with the pain of coming up with $500 for a deductible. I trusted Alamo with my repairs and im extremely happy that I did! Not only did they repair my vehicle QUICKLY but they CUT MY DEDUCTIBLE in HALF! Being that it is the holiday season, Alamo Collision was the biggest blessing to me and my family! Definitely a lifetime customer!

Called them on a Monday morning trying to set up a Thursday or Friday drop-off. Gave them all the info on my vehicle, which they had serviced before. Knew it might take a while to get the part so I was trying to give them time. Person who answered said someone would call me back. Tuesday late I called after no response, asked why no one had gotten back. Was told it was a hard part to get. Yeah, I know, which is why I called early. Was then told abruptly by someone else that they wouldnt help me. Fine if its hard to get, but good customer service would dictate earlier than 36 hours for a response when a time line was expressly conveyed.

Victor was very professional and did all he could to try and help me. He was able to get my vehicle towed the very same day and always had time to answer all my questions. Their staff is very efficient and friendly as well as the owners. If you ever need any work done on your vehicle I highly recommend this shop!

The owners do not just have you speak to someone to assess the damages and provide you an estimate, they personally speak to you and walk you through step by step as to what repairs they will be doing to your car. Its a hassle free experience. My most recent experience was with my sons car. He was hit on the back passenger door. We took his car in on a Friday and they advised that it will be ready the following Thursday, which it was and not to mention this was during the holidays. My son was so impressed with their work, he wanted an estimate to get all of the little dings repaired and his entire car repainted. However, I was very impressed with how neat, clean, and blended the paint was done at Alamo collision. Like nothing ever happened. Highly recommend!

Okay to start they told me it’ll be about a week to fix my car so I figured I take it here plus half my deductible. My cars now been there 2 weeks and in total it’ll be 2 and a half weeks of being there just for a paint job. They kept pushing my date back to receive my car back. I’ll update this depending on what my car looks like when I get it back. So far I’m extremely un happy. Received my car back and the paint wasn’t even dried correctly you can see dripping paint that dried and missing parts inside my vehicle. I don’t recommend them.ANOTHER UPDATE: my car is missing the emblems the door guards, my led lights aren’t working and what I’ve stated above. Horrible service.

DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CAR. I was in a substantial accident, and my car was towed to Alamo Collision Center. After having my vehicle for over a month, they gave it back to me only for me to find that it was not at all repaired. The air conditioning wasn’t working, the passenger door won’t open, and the bumper was misaligned. After taking it somewhere else to have the AC fixed, I was told that all of the clips on the bumper Alamo Collision placed on my car were broken, and they had actually glued pieces together and left all of the wires disconnected. Their work was done so haphazardly that they also voided the warranty on some parts.I spoke with the owner Victor several times, and I have never dealt with a business that has such little regard for their customers. He refused to take responsibility for any of it, and all of these repairs ended up being an expense to me.I don’t normally write reviews, but I don’t want this happening to anyone else. Again, please take your vehicle anywhere else!!

I was missing some paint on the right side of my front bumper so I decided to take my tacoma to this guys. Once they gave me the truck back noticed the whole front end was not properly in place. I asked them what happened and they said that it was already that way when they took it apart. I have pictures of the truck with the hit before the repair and everything was still in place. Once I turned the truck on, I was getting the message that the sensor for the lane departure and front collision system was not working. Again, I asked what happened and they said I needed to take it to the dealer for “reprogramming”. When I go to the dealer they said that if it was working before and everything is connected right it should work now, the dealer wanted to charge me 150 dlls just for diagnosing the issue. I get home and checked the issue and it turned out to be a disconnected cable on the sensor, simple solution, but still Alamo guys didnt do their job correctly. I also notice my left fog light missing (it was their when I picked up the truck) so I checked and both fog lights where missing screws, one fell off and the other was barely hanging in there. HORRIBLE JOB BY THIS GUYS. Do not waste your money here.

Absolutely terrible experience fixing my girlfriends car. Quoted low on a car with quite a bit of damage so the insurance company would not total it, then did an awful job fixing it. Took 2 months instead of the 12 business days they quoted. The hood was misaligned after they bent it back (even though they quoted to do a full replacement) and we picked the car up with missing parts. We recently took it to a trusted body shop in Houston, and they could not believe how cheaply the car was fixed.Im sure they can fix your fender for cheap, but DO NOT trust these guys with a car that has serious damage.

They are ethical and speedy. Got me out in flat 20 mins with a minimal charge. Everyone is super friendly and they all communicate very well.

If I could give this place 20 Stars I would.....This is the 2nd time I have had a car here and the first time i got my land rover fixed it was like brand new when I got it back so I was very impressed but this time I had another booboo but I did not have full coverage on my honda and It was not drivable so I had it towed there thinking I was not gonna be able to get it to looking like it did and have missing parts just because it was gonna be paid out of pocket and I did not have all the money to repair the car the right way....But Victor saved my life literally....he went out of his way to help me keep the cost down on parts that he could get aftermarket so my car would not look like a piece of junk when i got it back....When i got my car back it looked even better then before and he even painted what I could not afford to do so my self out of the kindness of his heart! Not to mention the price he gave me was beyond fair for paying out of pocket and now I have a nice car to drive again that I desperately needed! I will be forever grateful to victor and his friendly staff at this shop. I recommend that everyone visits this shop before going anywhere else, its family owned and operated and these people defiantly deserve your business!

Got an estimate last month- $3200Went in today to schedule a fix and they had their PBR team look at the car- estimate went up to $5000Was not willing to do business with me if I wanted it to be a cash pay. Only willing to work on my car if I reported to insurance (last month they were perfectly okay with cash pay- even willing to give me a discount!)This companies owner, victor, is definitely a scammer. This guy has to be taking advantage of insurance companies. What a joke this business is.BEWARE!

One of the best experiences I have ever had with a body shop. These guys do outstanding paint & body work, and are very reasonable with their prices.

Well first off they dont always do half off or more has they say. I had $1000 deductible but they only took $350 off. Second they told me it would be done Wednesday. Wednesday came. We need one more day Thursday came it will be done in the morning Friday morning came. It will be done this evening it was finally done and they only took off $30 which only paid for my rental for the extra 2 days. I lost out on so much money because they kept promising me days so I would plan stuff with my truck since they claimed it would be done. But I had to keep cancelling and rescheduling due to not promised days. All in all they dont take half off and they dont tell you the right days.

Subpar work. Scamming insurance company. Not impressed.

My car was rear ended, so all I needed was a simple bumper replacement. I chose to take my car to this place since they said the insurance would cover the sensor malfunction--which was lie. The paralegal from the law office said that the neighboring car rental place would cover the one day required to replace the bumper. I found that the rental place wouldnt rent a car to me and I had to take a shuttle bus to get to the rental car place which was miles away. The following day, the insurance adjuster named Donny Glover called me victoriously declaring that the manager named Victor found a part which was cheaper. It ended up that the cheaper part took over a week to come in, the insurance company only covered one day of the car rental, and my settlement didnt even pay for the gas and rental car expenses incurred. In addition, the spine and rehab chiropractor said I probably had brain damage from using this mechanic since I wouldnt get much of a settlement since the cheaper price of the car repair works in tandem with the healthcare expense. Finally, the car bumper has a tear in it and one of the brake lights dont work when the running lights are on as a result of the shoddy workmanship of the mechanic.

I would give them no stars but had to just for my review..Ugly service done and the 3 month wait with it being painted veary ugly with paint drops falling dry, my door not closing as well..2017 car Im not happy with there work...I had to puch them to hurry up 3 months with out a car I wonder if I left it how long would they take 6 months or more probably...Given me all these run arounds..

This place is terrible! Dont bring your car here. Half ass work, the bare minimum. You would be better off taking it across the border in Mexico. If you value your car.....STAY AWAY.
