1st let me say that the sales rep and receptionist are professional and knowledgeable. However the whole solar process has been a nightmare. We ordered a new roof and solar panels in March of 2021. It is now August and I still dont have an operational solar system. Speir dropped the ball on scheduling and installing the panels within their own time frame. They didnt completely hook up my panels and had to be called repeatedly to finish the job. On top of that they had to refile our CPS inspection pushing our progress by another 6 to 8 weeks. I have had to make 1 payment and most likely another on a system that isnt operational. They do not communicate to let me know what is going on well. I will say they are respsive when I have called for answers. I have also had 4 major leaks with damage to my home because they didnt properly vet their roofing partner. I can not recommend this company for solar or roofing to many avoidable issues. At this point we are considering legal action to have the panels removed and get our money back . My system was supposed to be operational the 1st of July I am reviewing the 1st of August and I still have no expected time frame for an operating solar system.

Very happy with Jacob and the team at Speir Innovations. They tailored the solar system to our needs. Not only are we doing something right for the environment, but we saw savings on our electric bill the first month in use.

Great value solar panels with low-cost payments. The panels basically produce more power than the lease costs. So you save money from day one. And after summertime, you start banking credits from the cool weather and sunny days. Solar is the way to go.

From Stephanie who had to work with my HOA, (and that was a hassle all of its own) to the crew that did my installation, everything was great.Stephanie kept me up to date with all the paperwork. She had to inform my HOA of all the legal stuff, and how the government wants homeowners to go Solar. She informed my HOA that they couldnt refuse us having solar on more than the back side of my house. Then worked with them to come up with a plan to get the optimum efficiency from the panels.The installation crew said our house was kind of a big job, because of the steepness of my roof. Speir made sure to send enough man power to get the job done in one day, and they did. The men were so very polite, professional, and knowledgeable, I loved spending time with them. Each man was just awesome in what they did. They worked very well as a team, and always knew just what the next step was in the process. We had a problem free installation of our solar panels and have been very happy with the results regarding my electric bill each month. The guys were very professional and kept me informed throughout the whole installation. Great job Speir Innovations! I had to call a few days ago concerning a leak on my roof near a bank of solar panels and Bobby Kaderka came out and evaluated the problem and found some flashing coming loose and holes in the exterior wall not involving the solar panel installation. But guess what...Bobby came back the next day and made the necessary repairs to cancel out the leak. I am impressed with this company and their personnel that want to make sure the customer is satisfied. Compliments to you all!!

I was their first ever residential solar customer. It took me some time to review because they installed my panels 2 years ago and didn’t have a Google page. Nicholas and team were very professional and courteous. It was done and designed so well and hidden from the angle and even other solar company salespeople knock on my door to ask me. The best thing about them is their customer service. If I can give them 10 Stars, I would. After a year the inverter stopped working and they replaced it free of charge. 2 years later (a few months ago) they contacted me to come to my house to inspect on something... a bit too technical for me to explain here. I was very surprised that they were continuously monitoring the systems they installed for their customers even after these years. It was free of course. All in all, I highly recommend them since they also install many commercial areas like HEB, etc. You won’t regret it when you see a much lower summer electricity bill and a $0 bill 6-7 months a year.

Nick Speir and his team stayed engaged with our project after it was installed to ensure that we were seeing the energy savings that we expected. They looked carefully at our electric bills and communicated on our behalf with the city, when appropriate. They also visited back at the site to make sure everything was working properly.

These guys were great. They installed a 5.13K system on my standing seam steel roof about 11 months ago. The system works great. I was picky about where I desired the monitor placed. It added some work to their effort, but they did it with a smile. Now Im thinking I need to add more capacity. I would recommend Speir Innovations to anybody who asked.

Dishonest sales tactics. I was told about a 30% tax refund if I purchased solar in 2019. Come tax season, my tax accountant tells me it’s a tax credit and not a refund. A huge reason for going solar was the refund. Make sure you get all promises in writing for your own records if you decide to go solar.

Process was easy from beginning to end! Michael answered all of my questions during the initial consult, and made himself readily available to provide additional info as needed. Speir took care of the coordination with HOA and CPS Electric, so I didnt have to stress about proper implementation. I really didnt believe it when Mike told us they would do our installation in one day, as we were installing an integrated wind-solar system that had wind power elements the team does not usually install. However, our team of 12 arrived on time, worked seamlessly together multi-tasking the entire system and, sure enough, by the end of the day we had our system installed and generating energy! Within a week the team leader and the electrician returned for the inspection with KPUB, our local utility, and we passed with flying colors.

The crew that did the installation was very efficient and polite. They did the entire system in one day. The office support staff took care of all permits and switch over after inspection. My only issue was with the salesperson who sold the system. Many details were omitted or misleading. Overall the system is working fine.
