Over the course of 10 years I have moved 24 times. This is the worst UHAUL location we have EVER dealt with. First we are told that they dont have 10ft trucks available so they gave us a complimentary 15ft truck. We reserved on the 24hr self-service and when we got here yesterday we were given the run around as the instructions indicated that we had to pick it up at SNG Satellite. We go there and no luck. On hold with customer service for minimum of 30 minutes and then get told to come back to UHAUL location. Still having problems and had to call again. They proceed to tell us that the reservation was not setup correctly. Came back to UHAUL this morning to tell them what happened and they gave us a $50 credit. I reminded them that we would most likely be arriving after hours and I wanted to be sure the keys would be in the box and we would be able to collect them. Show up and the truck in the pick up lane was a 12ft. Now we are on hold again, because the app is not registering/accepting his drivers license. And the option to pick up the truck is no longer showing on the app. Very inconvenient and an after hours service should be local!

Was charged for miles that I did not use, then when I voiced my concern I was treated like somebody who is lying. I was finally given a $50 credit and made to feel as if I should be grateful. This isnt finished yet I know I might not get any of the money back but the corporate office is going to hear about this. And I have proof positive that I didnt drive that van 192 miles

The employees inside the store were nice enough but I was charged for extra insurance that I did not want on my rental. I tried giving them a second chance and did an after hours rental and they gave me the wrong pass code to the lock box so I was unable to retrieve my keys. Customer service was unresponsive and extremely unhelpful.

Very bad place to rent from. Needed truck for one more day and they say they cant let us keep the truck they are fully booked and the lot is full of trucks. Will never come back to this place. And had to wait in lobby a long time just fro someome to acknowledge people where in there. Very horrible service

We went to get propane - they advertise propane 7 days a week -we saw at least 3 workers, but none could pump propane only the manager who was not there was able to pump propane - they told us to go to tractor supply

This is the best place to rent from. The staff is very helpful and nice. The equipment that is rented here is very nice, clean and very well maintained. The prices are reasonable. I would rent from here again if needed. The staff makes the process very fast and smooth.

We have had a terrible experience with this Uhaul! We had a hitch installation scheduled weeks prior, but when we arrived for our appointment, they told us they didnt even have the hitch in yet! So we tried to find somewhere in San Angelo that had it, but we had to postpone our move because we had to order it. We called Uhaul yesterday and asked if we could come in today at 3pm once we picked it up from OReillys. They told us it was no problem! But we got there and no one had any recollection of this, and they said they couldnt do it today! If someone had called us a few days before our original appointment to let us know they didnt have it, we could have figured it out ahead of time and been able to still leave when we planned. Instead, they showed how little they care for their customers. One of my worst customer service experiences with any company ever.

I was overcharged for a moving truck. I picked up the truck on 5/30 at 7:15am and returned it the same day at 1:00pm. The next day I get a bill in an email stating that I had kept it for over 24 hours and charged me two times the price.Update. I finally was able to speak to a representative, the money as refunded. S_it happens, but it was taken care of effortlessly. I will rent again.

Good luck trying to get propane I have no idea why they even sell propane it seems like they never wanna fill your tanks and this place is unreliable I wish they would do something about this I’ve been to this place multiple times during business hours and have been told they can’t fill my tanks. They are brand new and there is no reason why they should be turning down business.

This location is not run well. The customer service is not good. We had a long term storage unit and the climate control was a joke (we have photos of the temp reaching over 95*). Unfortunately its one of the only uhaul places with trailers in stock when we need them. Service is slow, rude, and the guy acts like he is annoyed by every person that walks in. Find another job if you dont like it! Sad thing is he manages the place so there is no one above him to complain to. My husband reserved the trailer online and still had to wait 30 min because he just didnt care to do anything timely. Always frustrating to work with.

I called simply to ask the question, what is the smallest box truck you have available. The person on the phone, Monica then asked for my phone number, I explained I just need the information on the smallest box truck. She said she would need my phone number in order to look that information up. I obliged. She then asked me for several other pieces of information that were unneeded. Followed by asking me if I was interested in any climate controlled self storage. I said no, I just need the box truck information. She finally told me that there was a nine foot box truck available and asked if I would like to reserve it. I told her no, I just called for information. Then without giving me time to breathe said that box trucks were limited and I should reserve one. I said, thats fine and not needed at this time I just needed the information. I then asked her one other question about the rental time period and she answered. Again before I could say anything else, Monica once again asked if I was interested in any self storage. I promptly hung up the phone. If I had the choice in this town to use another company, I would. It is insane that a phone call that couldve taken 5 seconds took over two minutes and had more sales pitches than a used car lot. Thanks Monica, youre a treat.

Horrible wait times usually. Sometimes rude staff, sometimes nice. It is a very good idea to plan a couple of hours extra when trying to pick up or rent a truck as it can a very long time. Also this location screws up reservations sometimes so it helps to double check and keep all paperwork.

This U-Haul is the best location Ive ever worked with. The main U-Haul website is not completely reliable, and so I highly suggest calling to make your reservations. The owner of this location is a respectable gentleman who is also a veteran. He helped me when things didnt turn out according to what Id planned and Im so glad that I trusted his suggestions and explanations because my move went fantastic. Thank you, Quentin!!!! Made reservation a month in advance. I went to pick up truck and they said they didnt have my truck. Instead of them tracking a truck down and helping us out (since this was all their fault) they gave us a number to call (which no one would answer) and told us thats all they can do since others are waiting. Will never rent from there again.

This has been the worst experience. A huge waste of my time and money. Not only was the guy behind the counter the rudest person Ive ever spoken to,  I am now driving an hour and a half back (after driving an hour and a half out) without the hith that I reserved on May 22nd. I was assured that this would be taken care of today, and when I dropped my car off the guy asked if I was going to wait, and I said yes. When I returned more than an hour later, they hadnt even started, and I was informed that the installation tech wasnt even there, nor were they aware I was even coming in today.You have cost me time and more money than I can begin to count. Im hugely disappointed in the customer service. And Ive been on hold waiting to talk to your customer service department for 30 minutes.Ill be leaving reviews everywhere.Oh, and your customer service line just hung up on me.

The general manager Quinton was absolutely great. I spoke with a call center and was lied to, that I was speaking with a store. Quinton ensured that my concerns were addressed, rectified, and I was able to keep on schedule. I had a hitch installed, the work was completed over an hour ahead of time.

Lydia was beyond helpful and after a problem at an authorized retailer, she was quick to make it right and get me into a truck for my move out of town. If youre going to rent, make sure you come to this location, dont go anywhere else or youll be disappointed

Amazing service. The wonderful people that work here are as friendly as they are efficient. They made picking up my U-Haul U-Box a breeze. Then when I needed to pick up my second container... Forget about it! Heather was so on top of things I dont think I was there 10 mins!

We have always used u-haul for our moving needs. We are more familiar with your Utah locations where we have always received excellent care, unfortunately we have not received the same courteous customer service at the Koenigheim address in San Angelo. We will no longer be using u-haul now or in the future. As you know there are several other moving companies in this area.

Severely under staffed, however extremely friendly staff. Scheduling was terrible. First day we dropped off uhaul truck and had to wait about 45 min to an hour to do so. Three days later dropped off trailer and again had to wait about an hour. Then we were scheduled to pick up a different trailer same day and they didnt have the right trailer for us but then told us to come back the next day and they would have it. My husband went back next morning to get the trailer and had to pick up from different location.

Uhaul customer service training needs to be the same for employees both in store and on the ph. Ive been told 3 different stories on policies regarding holds placed on my card used for my second rental. On my third and final rental, the system REFUSED to work so that I couldnt access anything to pick up the truck I reserved. The guy in store said, Id have to figure out how to login correctly to complete my pick up, blamed me as if it was my incompetence, then after 30-40 mins of me trying to complete my rental on HIS computer and showing him step by step how the online system would NOT proceed past the verification step, he finally decided to just do the order himself. There was another customer in the store having the same issue, as well. (check the cameras) Ive rented trucks before and had always been told that it is ok to keep for more time, as long as I accept the extra charges associated w the extra time. I waited 25 mins to speak to someone on the ph to request another day just to be hung up on. your online system would not let me finalize my login and kept asking for a verification code that it NEVER sent me, (u can ask your in store representative about that as well, because even he couldnt figure out why it wouldnt let me create an account). I wasted HOURS trying to get your online system to just work for me, but not even 10 mins after my contract expired, (it expired at 6:30pm) the lady from the store called to tell me I needed to bring the truck back in because they had someone else who needed the truck. I tried to explain that Id need it for an extra day, but she very rudely told me I had twenty minutes to bring it into the store. So after rushing to get there, I made it about 7:15, theyd already closed, and she tells me they charged me for the extra day, ANYWAY!!! She never once apologized for her rudeness, nor for the system issues. Just said she had to go by the contract and I was supposed to bring the truck back. 1. Not my fault your systems wont work. 2. Not my fault u booked a truck for another customer when it wasnt even in your lot. 3. Learn some proper customer service etiquette. I wasnt rude when I was frustrated because my money wasnt released 3 weeks after uhaul said they would release it. I wasnt rude when ur systems didnt wanna work Monday morning. So i dont think I deserved your in store representatives attitude.

This was the second time renting from this location. My first experience was just as unprofessional. They make moving even more stressful. I showed up at 3:45 to pick up a truck that we were scheduled to pick up at 4. Id only seen one employee outside while waiting inside 30 minutes. No employees were inside, and there was a line of 5 people in front of me. There was no manager onsite. This is a very poorly managed location, and very understaffed. I look forward to never doing business with uhaul in San Angelo ever again.

Twice in three weeks they didnt have the truck I reserved. The 2nd time I was notified of the problem the night before, even after receiving a confirmation text earlier in the week. The guy working at that location was horrible with customer service. They blamed the other renters for not having a truck. The $50 off they offer is not even close to covering the fact that my entire trip was ruined.

It was fast you can schedule your pick up and do all the paper work online if you do not decide to do it online you COULD have a good wait time in store and cry about the wait or do it yourself online and pick it up once you get there and its way cheaper then any other truck rental place in town.
