I would recommend Carr Clinic Complete Auto Repair to anyone who is looking for a repair shop. Very professional and reliable. The best customer service and reasonable prices. They took time to explain the problem and a plan to get back on the road.

I have used Carr Clinic several times. As a women finding a good shop can be hard. I went by the reviews and went with Carr Clinic. I was not disappointed. The prices are more reasonable compared to other shops and the service is good. This is the only place I ever recommend or take my car to.

!!!WARNING!!! DO NOT USE! unprofessional, will not care about you or your vehicle!!!!! O.K let me jog your memory 79 white corvette??? sat there outside for 5 weeks. Refused to bring it in the open bay and work on it, kept making excuses. My car was vandalized outside and had things thrown on it. I had new tires there were screws thrown about everywhere around the car. I tried to start the car and it would not start and it started up just fine when I brought it in. I spent money towing the car there and towing the car away from there. so.....I am out of money. I am sure you remember me now????

It’s always hard to find a trustworthy mechanic when your new to an area. Been stationed here for six months and I would not take my vehicle to anyone else in the San Angelo area. These guys are honest and do great work. Thank you for fixing my vehicle so quickly, highly recommend these guys.

Broke down on the highway and called Tony. He took the time to come to me and fixed the problem, allowing me to get my vehicle home. Then, did follow up, and did a complete repair of the issue. I have used Carr Clinic before, had a good experience, and that is why I called them. I will definitely trust them to take care of any future mechanical needs!

When my son called me to tell me he was having mechanical issues with his vehicle, I panicked. He is two hours away from home attending Angelo State. After researching and reading reviews on local mechanic shops, I had my son’s vehicle repaired at Carr Clinic, and I couldn’t be happier! We thought it was the alternator, but John assisted me in explaining what was wrong with the vehicle and because of his honesty and outstanding customer service, all the vehicle needed was some belts replaced. Because of the exceptional work and customer service, we will make Carr Clinic our shop for all my sons services. They also give a 10% discount for Angelo State Students!! Sheldon did an absolutely amazing job diagnosing my vehicles problem CORRECTLY after I had a mechanic shop in Midland, TX quoting me for an engine replacement due to 2 cylinders being hurt due to their compression test. Almost being scammed for an engine replacement, I was referred to Sheldon. After he did his diagnostics, he reported to me that 2 injectors had failed and was dumping fuel into the cylinders. Causing the car to misfire and smoke. This was something that the previous shop did not test or even gave the option that this was the cause of the vehicles problem. Once Sheldon replaced the needed parts, the car was back and better than ever! Id like to thank Sheldon and everyone at Carr Clinic for their honest and speedy repair on my vehicle! Thank you so much!

Took vehicle in for check engine light. Needed a tune up and had a vacuum leak. Truck is running great. They did a great job.

My wife’s Car was making a ticking noise last July, the owner told her to swing by that day so he could take a look, he immediately told her he thought it was her gaskets.he said one had to be replaced immediately and the other was “recommended “to be replaced. He replaced one of them and last week the other eventually broke down due to her not taking his advice last July and replacing it....Fast forward today, she has her car back fromThem once again and not only did they let her know they would fix her air conditioner that went out, they gave her an oil change and now her car runs like new!

I brought my 2005 VW here. i called beforehand to make sure they could do an ac check on this type. when i went to the front room, it was a group of 3 men, joking and laughing, and they didnt acknowledge me for awhile, then just told me to leave it there. so i did. they kept my car the entire day until i called arouns 3pm, when i dropped it off at 8am, to tell me there was an issue with the computer/electrical component of my car and there was nothing they could do, and to take it to a dealership. the nearest one was 2 hours away, so i tried a second opinion at another shop. they found the issue within an hour, and it was the master cylinder that was broken. nothing electrical at all. now the ac works perfectly. i honestly do not believe they looked at my car. i think they looked at it and thought it was some junk that i wouldnt bother paying to actually fix. how could they have done an ac check and just not notice a basic part of the system wasnt functioning?

Worked with them long distance for my son. Total cost was $60 less then original quote. Original quote was less than average to start with. Clutch kit was put in quickly to get him on the road. Shelton is Honest and trustworthy, a true southern gentleman. Lisa was very kind. So glad I chose Carr Clinic. Great people! Great price! Highly recommend!

New to town and I took my car here after the ford house was going to charge me $400 to fix a purge valve... Had a freak lightning strike at my house arc to my truck about a month ago. Roasted a bunch of the electronics in it.Tony, John, and Todd got to it quickly, and after initially thinking it could be really bad, they were able to replace and repair back to pre-strike condition!Communication with them was excellent, even when my insurance was being difficult. Would recommend to anyone needing vehicle work done, simple or complex.

We brought my daughters sick car to the Carr Clinic. It was not starting, and when we got it tested, it showed that it was not the battery. We dropped it off on a Sunday, and left the keys in the drop box. Late Monday morning, they called to give us the news... There were multiple things wrong with the car, and even if they fixed all those things, they could not guarantee the underlying problem would be solved. Without saying so, he basically said the car was not worth fixing.As a mom, it was extremely conforting to know that the Carr Clinic is someplace safe for my daughter to bring her car, where they would not try to get us to fix a car not worth fixing.We have brought other vehicles here in the past, and have always been happy with the service we received. I would highly recommend this place to bring your sick vehicles. They will fix them and make them better at a reasonable price, or advise against doing so, if it gets to that point.

I recently brought my truck to Carr Clinic to have some relatively extensive engine work completed. The manager, Rory, was incredibly helpful. He took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done and why and patiently answered all my questions. The work was completed even faster than promised. When I picked the truck up, another problem completely unrelated to the work I had done surfaced. Even though Carr Clinic wasnt responsible for that issue, they went out of their way to get it resolved ASAP. These guys are great. They provide excellent service at a fair price. I highly recommend them.

Did not honor their commitment; called over a week in advance to schedule an appointment for Saturday morning. I arrive at opening and have to call them to be told they have no appointment for me. When I told them I called over a week ago for that time, I was basically told they didnt have it and it was my problem. I will not be back.

Simply put, I trust Tony Carr (was a mechanic ever named more aptly?) to take care of all of my cars. My first trip to the business was 14 years ago, and I have never been disappointed. If something is going sprocky, sprocky, they will diagnose the problem and fix it. Every step of the way, Tony will keep you informed, even if its not what you want to hear. Its a great small business.

I brought my Chevy Equinox in because the a/c had completely failed. Shelton talked me through the necessary work and how they would make the repairs. It turned out to be a stubborn problem, but he continued to work it until it was resolved. Very friendly and helpful staff and Im very satisfied with the results of their work.

Had A/C issues on 2012 Ram 2500 Hemi first of Junethey took time to diagnosis the system, while the out come wasnt pleasant because the whole system needed to be replaced a very expensive repair, I am sure the dealership would have been very very expensive. Trust was a factor in my decision for them to do the job. They had to remove the dash to get to some of the parts to replace, when I got the truck back you couldnt tell it had been taken out. So the out come I have cold A/C again I am sure if I have any issues with the parts they replaced they would standby their warranty.

Tony and his team are wonderful! They are informative about issues and make sure that my family and I are safe when he hit the road.

I will not do business with this company again. They got my truck in the shop told me it would be ready in a day, now im going on to my third day. And the funny thing is they have the part and just decided to close early and not even call me to give me any notice. Very bad business ethics.
