This is one of the best antique shops Ive ever been to. Everything seems carefully curated, every item looks like its had special attention to make it look its best, and the prices are very reasonable. I think this is because its not a booth-based setup like most shops - its just one store/owner (not sure about this but I think thats the case!). Before we moved to San Angelo in 2019 we checked out the local antique shops to see if wed be making weekend trips elsewhere or if we would be able to find great stuff here. This is the shop that made us confident wed be able to find great stuff here, and we just keep coming back. We just bought two desks and had them delivered - great experience, and looking forward to buying more. 👍

Grossly Overpriced Used/Scratched LPs - Most are not worth more than $2-$5

I love this store, it’s got so much quirky and fun vintage items that are well-curated. The decorations and atmosphere are welcoming and stylish too. It’s not just a fuddy duddy antique store, it’s really quite beautiful and fun to look around for special art. My friend Helen finds a lot of her vintage cat statues here, and there’s always something new and different. The staff are super helpful and I can tell they genuinely care about customers. It’s a great place, love it!

Incredible store! Such great finds, I hate to share but must.

The guy in charge was in the living room trying to make a sale so I didn’t bother him to get a price of a knife that was marked $25 so the two people sitting down on the couch I hold up the knife and I say $25 really. They say oh no it’s $.25 OK fine I go to check out the lady starts adding everything. Then the guy from the living room thrusts a phone in front of her face saying that so-and-so is going to take the pillowcase. The lady goes well I’m gonna have to start all over again yeah I go yeah you were interrupted weren’t you. Anyhow she says she’ll throw in the knife and as I’m bagging everything she says oh no that knife is $25 and I’m like I asked she says who did you ask and the next thing I know I don’t have a knife anymore even though the transaction had concluded as I was bagging my things and had paid my money and received my change. That’s power not right.In reply to your statement that I threw a childish tantrum and that I tried to return an item, I find that people that utilize generalities because they cannot be specific.

Favorite place to shop around for one of a kind vintage home decor

My sister and I recently visited Madstyle’s store and it is HUGE/AMAZING! I love that every corner you turn there is something amazing to be seen. It is very well organized and such a fun local store for San Angelo. I also just went to an estate sale they did recently and I really appreciated everything clearly marked, neatly put out and organized. They accepted cards which was super convenient and I found the most amazing aprons/cookware for a DEAL! Love it!

Every time I go here I end up buying something beautiful! The people running the place are great and the music that’s playing is always awesome too lol! I run a store and estate sale business as well and can definitely say the prices are accurate. Definitely recommended!

San Angelo benefits greatly from having MadStyle Vintage in our midst. The location is ideal, downtown in the historically rich district, but with much better parking! The store is beautiful, arranged so that every piece available for sale, is showcased in such a way that you can picture how it would look in your own home. The selection of vintage furniture, electronics, art, and even music is superb. The customer service is fantastic, they are helpful, and friendly, without hoovering over you, or being high pressure with their sale. It was one of my favorite stores to frequent, and I recommend it to my friends often!

This is probably the most interesting antique store I’ve been to! The displays were put together so perfectly. I just wanted to stay there for hours and walk down memory lane. Awesome, awesome store. You owe it to yourself to check it out :)

I was visiting town and kept passing by the awesome display window thinking I HAD to visit. I was not disappointed with the awesome selection of uniquely curated items in this shop. It really was like stepping back in time! Very well done, not a piece of junk in the place. Lots of vintage kitchen items and furniture also.

This place overcharges for items that they dont even know if it works... the conveniently dont have pricetag on items and then get offended when you offer them a ballpark price

MadStyle Vintage is a fabulous vintage store I first stumbled into with my grandmother two years ago and since then, I visit every few weeks to see what new mid century modern pieces they have gotten in. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable which is a plus when trying to furnish your house with all authentic items. I have spoke with one of the owners, Tyler, on multiple occasions about different items I am looking for and when he goes to an auction or estate sale, he will let me know if he locates something that would be of interest to me.I am so glad San Angelo has a store like this.

If you are looking for a store that sells overpriced records,(to the magnitude of three times what it should be), used pipes with ashy tobacco still inside, and an employee who asks to see in your bag because they think you are a thief or something, then this is the store for you. they DO sell dust for very cheap. You can actually just take free samples from the various countertops.

What an awful Company, The House that the estate sale was at was purchased by myself. Mad-style left the place trashed with a literal mountain of garbage in the back...When we called to ask if they were going to pick up after themselves they were extremely rude. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
