If you want to shop at a completely sexist store visit Marshall’s. I was told that I can’t bring my purse in the store and therefore had to wait in the car while my husband shopped for what we needed. But men wearing cargo pants with multiple easy access pockets for shop lifting is totally fine??? These people need to re-examine their policies. I will never go back.

When do you argue with a customer, when you work for Marshalls.I called and talk to a guy and asked for a specific screw that I needed. He said they had them in that size. When I arrived I was help by someone else who was very helpful but couldnt find the exact size I ask for...When he asked the coworker about them, he stated I didnt ask for any size. I said yes I did and he was no you didnt. This went on for a few more times before he finally backed off. Why would someone drive all the way to Marshalls for something that may or may be there without checking first..DUH

BTW, I spent 5 minutes looking for a pipe fitting in your horribly organized bin.Sorry if its an inconvenience for me to shop there. I can fix that for you. I will also no longer be recommending you to anyone and will recommend that our company cancel our ~30 year old account.McMaster Carr is more convenient, Fastener Engineering and Ferguson are way better priced.

Great store! Has everything for your personal, home, electrical, machine, or industrial project. Amazing customer service, very helpful, super friendly. Great prices, fair pricing, and cheap price.

My first visit. Cool store and great selection. There are many items that are not returnable so make sure you get the right item or youll be stuck with an expensive paper weight. (This is all spelled out on a little sign above the exit door - not cool!)

Its like Disneyland for repairmen! They have EVERYTHING in every size! And, the folks that work there actually know what they are talking about!! AMAZING!!!!

This is the place to go to find the bits and pieces that you just cant find anywhere else, other than maybe online.The prices are a tad on the high side but then again whats your time worth?Either make it your first stop or your last.Good coverage of both domestic and metric sizes.Just go in and wander around some and be amazed that this resource is in Salt Lake.

Went to this store in search of chains and binders. The staff was very helpful and was sure to inform me of potential qty discounts. Will be using this store in the future.

I went in to purchase a regulator for my air compressor. My compressor goes to 175 psi so I bought the 200 max psi. The brand was coil hose pneumatics, which I have had a lot of positive experience with. The first one cracked at 160 psi so I exchanged it. The next one leaked out of the top at 20 psi. The guy told me that he won’t sell to me anymore because It was my fault they were failing. I ordered one off Amazon that was supposedly the same model as theirs. The Amazon one was far superior quality and hasn’t failed. Didn’t know Marshall’s sold fake knock offs.

THE absolute best hardware store in the Salt Lake area, and quite possibly the entire state. Ive been here quite a few times, most recently when I needed a particular fastener for a refrigerator. I checked the appliance parts stores in the area; most did not have it. The few that did wanted $6.00 or more. For ONE screw. I called Marshalls Industrial Hardware almost as a last resort, and the VERY knowledgeable rep was able to confirm that they had what I needed, and for only 21 cents!The staff is well informed when it comes to fasteners, material, and hardware in general, and they are always friendly and courteous even during this crazy time were living in. Their prices are very fair, especially for a small business with quality products.Theyre not a home improvement store, but theyre great for industrial, commercial and even personal projects that might require specialty hardware And if they dont have what you need in stock they can probably order it for you, or tell you where you might find it. Much better customer service than the bigger stores with dozens of employees.Make this place your FIRST stop, and save yourself a lot of time and frustration.

I dont often give a 5 star rating. This is THE place to go for odds and ends, hard to find tool pieces, we have searched and searched for a 2.5 hex driver bit for specialty screws we use at work. Visiting Marshalls for the first first time, they have not only these tips, but in a variety of hand tools for different applications. Ill definitely be coming back here.

My go to store, especially if I only need just one of a kind, I dont want buy a blister package of 20, when I only need 2 or 3. . The staff are extremely friendly and willingness to serve.

Staff was a bit surley but inventory is very varied, location is super easy to get to with great parking.Just dont mention their awesome Facebook reviews or youll get a lecture about how the owner hates the internet.Solid store with a bit of.... Amazes me that CHEAP people will give a poor star rating because they have absolutely NO Fng clue what it costs to have odd things SIT on a shelf in CASE you MIGHT need one. Amazon buys in trainloads at once dipsticks. These guys are the B O M B when I need some thing NOW and price is not my concern. Maybe instead of crying about a buck go make one or TWO and let this company do the same. Lastly a refund is just a charge back away.

Has lots of fun stuff... well i think its fun. Every time i get something from a hardware store i end up saying to myself it would have been better quality if i had gotten it from marshalls. Or something like that. If you like to build things, you should know this store.

Short review: great customer service, professional and good local selection.Longer Review: You know how you go to Home depot looking for that thing you need and end up having to take apart some widget to get the actual hardware? Skip that next time and just go to Marshalls. They are a real hardware store that caters to building/fabricating something from scratch rather than home improvement.Add in great customer service and they cant be beat (unless you actual need a heated toilet seat out something like that).

Today was the last time I’ll be shopping at Marshalls. They wanted $14 for 1 bolt. I purchased the same bolt at Nut and Bolt for $4. Ripoffs

This place is the worst. I would not recommend it at all. You are better off just going to lowes or home depot. They dont treat their staff very good and that should speak more than anything!!

First time there and this place has everything youll ever need as a hardware plus provider. I want to go there again since I know I want to look at everything they have at that location. Plus the store is very organized and clean.

Great service and awesome selection on bolts. You can find all the weird stuff you are looking for here. From metric to standard, they got it. Close to the freeway and lots of parking available too. Service is outstanding, came here a couple of times and always got what I needed.

If I ever need some kind of hardware for work or home I will usually stop here. The employees are very helpful to identify what I need for the task. Whether its a tool or the hardware necessary its usually in stock. If they dont have it in stock they will find and order it. I have been surprised by the variety of products kept in stock.

A tinkerers paradise. Tools for just about everything, as well as some of those hard to get hardware items.I like to just walk around and see what they have.The prices seem reasonable and they surprise me with their selection.

If you need a handtool, this is the place! They sell everything from the relatively cheap tools to the premium ones. Amazing selection, and the people are great to work with. Careful though, there is a lot of awesome stuff, so you may spend more than you want ;-)

This place has fasteners of just about any type. I love going here to find the hard stuff. Their pricing is far less expensive than local hardware stores to boot. I did not give 5 stars for two reasons. 1. They declined to offer advise and said we are not engineers. They fear that someone will sue them if they offer an opinion and something goes wrong. What ever happened to good old fashioned brain storming? 2. Their tool pricing is about 15-20% higher than the competition.Despite this I still love having this resource.

They have things nobody else will in stock. Their fastener selection is the best in utah. Need a tool in a pinch they probably have it. They definatly are not a discount store but they dont have anything of low quality. This place has helped me complete more technical projects than I can count. You should walk through it and see what they have. They have everything out so you can see what might help you complete your project. They have a friendly and knowledable staff as well. Total hidden gem for industrial or technical trades.

Car overheating and pulled in to parking lot. Went in originally to just ask for water, but ended up browsing and buying a few things. Place is actually a type of spot Ive been looking to find for all my DIY type projects. Tool were a lot on the high price side. But thats ok. Employees were ok. Think they had eyes on me like yo Im not a punk kid I got that paper. And finally whos the cop looking dude waiting in the parking at 530. You got a problem bruh? Chill...lol jk

Most everything you can think of for a hardware store...most. Prices are a little high, but theyve got it and its hard to find, so...not bad. Very helpful staff and a good shopping experience. Stars for selection and service!

Service and selection are really really great. Ive never needed to go anywhere else for any of my basic hardware needs. Ive gotten anything from screws to shower-caddies, bamboo poles to new doorknobs. The prices are really comparable.

I had a very strange experience with a senior staff person on the phone. I called looking for an extension cord for my table saw. The cord needs to have a NEMA 6-15 plug, which is fairly common. When I asked if they have one, the person told me that he didnt know if they had one and couldnt check for me. He said I would just have to come in and find out or look myself online. Not quite the 5 star service advertised.
