Andrew and his team at Solar Window and Door were wonderful to work with! Andrew takes pride in the workmanship and reputation of his company. He even wanted to come out to our house and measure for our shower door himself so he made sure it was done right. The guys always came on time and were knowledgeable and efficient. The European glass installation was done beautifully and I love my new shower! I have already referred Solar Window and Door to others, and will continue to do so.

Andrew J. Bamford (President) is the kind of guy you can feel good about leaving in your home alone. He was honest, fair, heard my concerns, and addressed all issues with out trying to gouge the price. Now days its nice to call someone and get the best most fair cost without all the hassle of wondering if someone is trying to finagle you. I would use them in a heartbeat for any of my windows or doors! My experience was a breath of fresh air from what Ive experienced with other companies.

Called in to get a quote for 2 screens. They are priced very good, but just asking literally only a few questions on how to measure my window for a screen the lady raised her voice, told me to contact another company and hung up.

Awesome work!!! Was able to find, diagnose, and provide a salutation by me just sending him pictures (via text). Sent me the part, and voila, the problem was solved. Note: this whole process saved me several hundred dollars as he did not have to drive all the way put to Ogden to determine which part to get.I would also like to add, that I am SSDI, and cannot drive. This was NO problem for Solar Windows and Glass. They simply mailed the part to me and everything worked perfectly. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!!!

I have had all my windows and exterior doors replaced by Solar Windows and had an excellent experience every time. Andrew has given me great suggestions to maximize functionality as well as create a terrific aesthetic. The people who do the installation do beautiful work. I love the fact that I can give them the key to my house and when I come home the work will be done and it will be right. Any time I have a need for glass I will always go to Solar Windows.

Andrew was great to work with our schedule and the pricing was quite a bit lower than other estimates we had received. The installation team did great and left the area spotless after installation. I would easily recommend them to anyone!

We called Andrew for a quote to replace our south-facing casement windows, since we had condensation in several of them, and we were looking to improve energy efficiency. He said our windows were fine, and suggested we just replace the glass. We didnt know this was even an option, and it resulted in saving a ton of money. They were back at the house in about 1 wk to install the glass, which they did in a very professional manner. Andrew later called us to make sure we were happy before we made the final payment. The glass looks beautiful!

He came to my home to look at a patio door that the track had broken. It was a milgard door. He couldnt say enough bad things about Milgard. He talked about how hard the company is to work with and how he currently had a customer that was mad at him and it was because of Milgard. He told me he would do some research and get back to me on fixing my patio door. He did not. I called him to follow up, no return call. I even went as far as to research the part I needed from Milgard and called him again and told him I had the part number and would he come and fix it. I was paying it wasnt even warranty work. No call back. I felt it very unprofessional. However, Home Star Windows & Doors happily came and fixed it and fixed it for free.

Andrew installed a dog door in our sliding glass door, it looks great and works great (this is the design where the door is actually cut into the glass part of the existing door). Very professional and great service.
