I have used this company on my houses I build for 15 years. Used them on my personal home on every project. Harry and Tim and great to work with.
We are a luxury home builder and require a high level of quality, and I can tell you these guys are the best fabrication shop in the state. We have used them for multiple projects and they always provide a beautiful product, on time and at a fair price.
I wish I could give this place a 0 star review. I spent 3 months going to their place of business to pick out a remnant slab, getting a quote, coming to my house to measure the area, to multiple follow ups asking for updates on timelines. After 3 months of me trying to do business with them they simply said they couldn’t do the job. Why have a remnant yard if you won’t/can’t do smaller jobs? Instead of giving me a build date in the future he simply said they couldn’t even do it. Are you booked out 5 years? If you have a small job stay away from this group. They will waste your time and mess up your build plans, who knows if that is the case for large builds as well, it wouldn’t surprise me at all.
We used Distinctive Marble and Granite for countertops in our main floor remodel. Tim was awesome to work with. He was always easy to reach and the most fairly priced out of three fabricators-$5,000-7,000 cheaper than the other two. Tim even met me at the place where I got my slabs to look at the slabs before they were delivered and go over some concerns we had about them. His guys did a beautiful job fabricating and installing. In one of our bathrooms they accidentally used the wrong material. No problem. Tim made it right immediately, no arguing, no blaming, which, unfortunately, has been my experience with other subs and vendors on my remodel. He has a lot of nice remnants to choose from also for a bathroom and pantry, which was helpful in bringing the overall cost down. Highly recommend.
I called this place for a remnant and they said to come take a look. Little did they mention I would have to use their services or they wouldnt sell. I wasted my time and gas only to be told by Tim that he wouldnt sell to me unless I paid $250 for a tiny 25 x 19 piece. I only paid $150 at Oasys for a 40 x 7ft dining table slab. This is unfortune because he has an entire yard full of remnants. There is no way he is going to use that up with just his clients that only use his services. This place is overpriced and Tim was very unpleasant. I would stay away from here.
