Had to go to this location twice last week. The first time was a great experience. Friendly, helpful gentleman got me exactly what I needed. The second, the lady seemed to be annoyed that I was in the store looking for something and she was being forced to help me.Also, the sign on the door says everyone should wear a mask.. really. I do not need home depot telling me whats what when it comes to my health. Unless youre also willing to hang a sign next to it that says eat right and exercise because that has a heck of a lot more to do with health than masks do. Stick to tools and lumber.

Great location as it’s minutes away from where I live. Parking is ample The product selection is great and the store seems well stocked. The staff are knowledgeable for the most part and friendly as well. I appreciate their measures taken to ensure public safety with the current covid 19 pandemic.

This is a nice store but staff is friendly but not always very knowledgeable. I often need help but staff cant help.

Went in looking for sheetrock, finally found the ones we needed. There were 2 older men waiting for help and they said they were waiting there a while and no one would help them. Luckily we came and helped them load up their sheetrock. Home Depot is good for supplies. Just need to work on better customer service. This is not the first time at this location I have seen people waiting for help.

I felt discriminated at this store. when i asked for help at electrical, the associate ignored me. i stood there and watched as he helped other customers. i asked several times and he would only say...ill help u out in a minute sir. when there was no more customers he left. not even turning to acknowledge me. i have never felt this way at any other store. based on what i seen i say he profiled me. i will be seeking legal advice to see if i was legally discriminated upon.

New Store for me but they stock everything the way I am familiar with easy find for what I needed staff was very helpful

Called on Wednesday to ask if an item was in stock. They said theyd have them in on Saturday and to get here upon opening as they sell out quick. My husband drove 2 counties over, was the first person in the store and told they were out of stock. Come to find out they had the items in stock when we called and sold out hours after they talked to us on the phone. Spoke to a manager who had nothing to offer except Im sorry. Why the employee on the phone lied Ill never know.

Dropped by Home Depot today to have some keys made. One of the things I love about Home Depot is that they always have a lot of team members working on the sales floor, so if youre in a hurry, you can ask for directions instead of searching around. A team member escorted me to the key-making station and a super personable young guy made four duplicate keys for me in less than five minutes. Tested them all when I got home and they all worked. Home Depot is definitely my go-to destination for all things hardware or home improvement.

Dont waste your time with their curbside pickup service, every time Ive used it, it takes at least 15 minutes to get items. This most recent visit after waiting 25 minutes we just went inside to do a pickup.Store is fine otherwise but curbside service needs help if theyre going to offer it.

Whats more to say than big box store has it all!! Not always the cheapest but for the convenience of having it all under one roof you have to ask yourself...how much is my time worth?

Buyers beware!!! When you purchase a countertop from Home Depot, understand that they subcontract to a third party. The third party becomes their representative. This means that, if you have any problem with the product, Home Depot will not back you up.Let me explain. I recently purchased a quartzite countertop from Home Depot. Their third party in Salt Lake City is Accent Countertops. The installers broke the countertop at the level of the sink. The break is irreparable because it is full thickness. I was concerned about the integrity of the countertop. I asked for an independent assessment by a licensed stone contractor. His assessment was that the stone needed to be replaced. When I tried to negotiate with Accent countertop, they claimed that it was Home Depots decision. When I called Home Depot, they said that they have nothing to do with it because Accent countertop represents them.Do not go with Home Depot, or for that matter Accent countertop. You will be disappointed.

It can be hard to receive help at Home Depot - particularly when you want a consultation. However, once you actually get connected with the right person, they are helpful. Im getting ready to demolish and redo my bathrooms and upgrade my kitchen counter to granite, so well see how this journey goes!

I had to stare down the cashier to get his attention even though it was dead inside, he didn’t say one word besides asked if my water gallon was a refill.Terrible customer service

There were 10 people in line at the self checkout and only one regular register open at the far end with 2 giant orders. They need to be more reactive to the flow of traffic at the front end. There were 5 or 6 employees by the return desk so they werent under staffed. I usually get better service when I go to other Home Depots.

Had half of what I needed. Was missing PVC electrical conduit in many sizes. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I was racial profiled by the garden manager. I was approached by 2 home depot employees and was accused of stealing. I hope they train their managers better. Will no longer shop at this location.

I live here so I might as well give it a review. If I have issues they take care of me and things I need are usually in stock. I took off one star as there is never anyone in the tile section and some of the floor staff have given me poor advice. However just ask my wife, I love the Home Depot.

We love bringing our puppers here, and he loves it too! The staff, as well as many costumers are friendly, especially with our dog James. It has become one of his favorite places to visit. While we could go to other stores for our home needs, we prefer visiting here.Another plus for Home Depot, is they sell certain exclusive items, like Ego battery powered products. We have purchased several Ego products here (snow blower, week whacker, pole saw, chain saw, lawn mower, and leave blower) and have really loved them! Unfortunately the leaf blower died after just a few week use. We returned it to the store and got a replacement on the spot. The return was easy, and the staff understanding and helpful. I personally hate having to return things, but was very pleased with how well it went, and how well I was treated by the staff.

Always a good experience. The only downside is they don’t have reserved parking spots for veterans like Lowe’s.

Terrible selection of hardware. I try and give Home Depot the benefit of the doubt and keep coming back but always end up at Lowes to actually find the hardware I need. Lowes has a much better selection.

Bought appliances 3 months ago. Delivery has been horrific. Ive taken 3 days off to meet them and they never show up. The customer service cannot answer questions without putting you on hold for 45 minutes at a time. Then the usual answer is that they cant reach the delivery company to come up with an excuse for why its not coming. You can always call back tho, but they arent allowed to make any outgoing calls to help you. Go to Lowes delivery and service much better.

This has become my home store, my go to store for all my construction needs. Definitely where I buy all my power tools and hand tools.

It took some time and questioning to find the part I needed but in the end, got the correct part.

Decent lumber selection - but lots of junk to sift through. Good selection on other building supplies. Mostly helpful staff, but as with any large business theres some staff who just dont care.With the pandemic, theyve been careful to monitor the number of patrons in the store, and their curbside pickup has been reliable when I was using it, but lately, Ive been going inside and been very careful about wearing my mask - but the store isnt enforcing health department legal requirements of mask wearing among customers or staff - at least not consistently.This would be a 4-star review if the store were enforcing mask wearing.

Hate the line to get out through the self pay checkout they need more way more or put back the CSR lines.

When I asked a sales associate about a certain item and they literally pointed to where it might be if there were any left. The store was not busy I was hoping they would have card enough to walk me to the area. The item was in stock. The young man sanitizing the check out areas was friendly and helpful.

I have only had positive experiences at this location. The staff had always gone above and beyond to answer any question fOr find the best price. Especially their pro services they are exceptional! Great location and always seem to be in stock of everything regardless of how busy!

This is your standard Home Depot! They have everything your standard Home Depot has. Much better than Lowes and they are more friendly! I would recommend this place over any other building supply company. They are located next to a Target as well for your home goods shopping too!

Editing my review. I needed L-shape metal sheet. Found it on my own. Waited 5 min for a clerk to stop by but no one was there. Walked to the corner just to find the employee talking with someone about guns. Stand there for a while before the other person, not the employee noticed I need assistance and walked away. Then I asked the employee for help explaining I need this product but because it can not fit in my car I need it cut in half. The answer was What L-shape- don`t you know your products, specially if you are standing right next to it :) And it was not what he said, but how he said it, with a condescending tone. Then he said he can not cut the product, not possible. Really, you do not have the tools for it, in a tool store, OK :) So I walked out. So am thinking- I drove a few extra miles to get here, even though there is Lowes and Ace in my neighbourhood, but I choose Home Depot, just to find out that they would not go the EXTRA MILE for me. My own opinion. Take away what you like! :)

Never Buy Appliances from this store. They will take your money and not deliver the product. They claim that there is nothing that they can do to get their supplier to deliver product.......They need to be accountable for their promised delivery dates.It took Home depot greater than 4 months to deliver 4 appliances. They still take no responsibility for themselves being able to fulfill the order.HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT ORDERING APPLIANCE THROUGH HOME DEPOT

It was a pretty good location. No complaints. Two employees were readily available to help me one in the plumbing and one at the checkouts.

The employees have been good usually but the shipping company they use for appliances is awful. We paid for our refrigerator over three weeks ago. It has been scheduled for delivery now three times. It has never arrived, no communication at all. I know it isnt Home Depot (HD) employees but HD insists on continuing to use company when they have terrible reviews. The HD call center in another state knew we were in SLC, UT because there are so many issues with this company. When we asked what the HD employee would do in our shoes they said, get a refund and go to RC Willey. Really? Could have told me not to use them in the first place.

Easy in & out. I like this store because staff are helpful & I can find what I need quickly. Sometimes customers are not wearing masks, dispite signs at the entrance stating you must wear a mask.

Hard to find people who know where things actually are and of course there’s no cell service in the building.

Had the perfect size furnace filter but the washer I was looking for was a little higher priced than other stores so no sale on the washer.

Just went in for a furnace filter, because the ones sold here are better quality than Walmarts.Am also planning on adding a backsplash in my kitchen, so I looked at the options for that as well.

I love their clearance items! The staff is friendly yet not pushy or invisible. Store is organized Well, and checkout is great whether you go through a cashier our the self checkout!

I had a difficult time getting someone to help me make a key and when they finally did help me— I took the new key home and it didn’t even fit in my lock, let alone unlock my door. I’ve had multiple bad experiences at this store and this was the last time I’ll try it.

I love their pro desk people. They are always so nice and love giving my dog treats. Im their at least a couple times a week. Riverdale location is my favorite.

I have found lots of useful things there, from gardening tools and plants to the best and safest weed killer that is safe to use as well as the best lawn nutrition, Weed and Feed and trellis fencing. They even cut your wood pieces for you! I appreciate that I can rent one of their trucks from them to get large to get large items home if they are too large for my car.They are very helpful and friendly there.

Itd be a shame if you trained your employees how to search for a tool that shows in stock but is not in on the shelf. Shouldnt take 45 min to track down something. Not the first time Ive had this happen.

We were in and out pretty quickly and that is impressive! Partly due to us knowing exactly what we needed and because the HD had the items we needed in stock.The associates were helpful and friendly.

Lots of stuff that you can buy if you have some money. I even bought a Christmas tree and a stand because I had some money. I saw other people buy stuff. I saw a guy buy a tie on the fly then he sighed and said bye. I wonder why. I think he was high.

I am first time home buyer and with the desire and dream to see my new place fully equipped I purchase all the appliance in Home Depot trusting in one of the biggest retails in the nation and my experience instead to be a dream is a nightmare. When I purchase everything was month before the move in date and Home Depot staff told me they have inventory in stock. The day before the move in we didn’t receive a call from Home Depot as we suppose to receive and we call to follow up and they told us: “We don’t have stock until a month later” (which means 2 month after the purchase).- Trust in the big one makes my first time home buyer experiences the worst... thanks Home Depot!

The staff member I talked to wasnt terribly happy to help me. But overall the store was clean and organized, and it was easy to find what I needed.

Best place to go for dyi home repairs

Im a DIYer and whenever I dont know how to do something I can almost always find someone who will talk me through my projects. In the last 25 years I have nearly totally remodeled my home (hardwood and tile flooring, bathrooms with showers, wiring, plumbing, up and downstairs kitchens); and relandscaped my yard (to include a new elevated deck; extensive hardscape and a firepit). I love this mans toy store.

Friendly associates. Clean store. Great outdoor selection as well. Ive shopped here multiple times in the last couple months and had no issues. Their COVID requirements are solid and offer sanitizer at different spots in the store. Never had too much of an issue finding help when I need it, although sometimes I have to seek it out.

BUYER BEWARE do not use the online app. I made a online purchase through the Home Depot App. When I received the email saying part of my order was ready to pick up at the Murray location the other part is ready to be picked up at the West Valley City location and the rest will be shipped to you. I called to cancel the order. Nope can only cancel the part that’s not being delivered. I can return the items back to the store after they have been delivered. What a mess. So now I will be going to Lowe’s to pick up what I need to winterize the house today.

A decent enough home depot. Good selection of items and very convenient. My main complaint is that the past few times I have been in (I manage a business nearby) it has been like pulling teeth to get decent customer service and employees act like youve inconvenienced their entire day when you have a question.
