Swirl Woodcraft fabricated a corner entertainment cabinet to my design. The end product was top notch....quality, finish, function. They were so easy to work with. And the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

One of their vans tailgated me as I was going 15 miles over the speed limit. I found this to be very saddening, and frightening. Even when I was able to move over to the next lane, the van moved on from terrorizing me to bully the next cars in that lane--as if nothing but driving 20 miles over the speed limit would satisfy their rage-filled heart. Now, Ive been late to meetings before, so I understand the sheer panic of trying to get there on time. Perhaps, though, if youre driving a van emblazoned with a company name, this may not be the smartest move? I guess if the driver had a woman giving birth in the back, Id be able to understand. Maybe they just really had to use the bathroom--weve all been there. To allow for these possibilities, I have made my review two stars instead of one. I cant speak for the quality of their cabinets, having never purchased a cabinet, so perhaps if thats what youre looking for, dont read my review.

Had a good experience with the installer. Nate was awesome and did a great job! Thanks so much Nate for being willing to make my cabinets work with some issues that were out of your control. I hope he gets a lot of thanks from this company.I had a small job and appreciate them doing it when others wouldn’t. The communication wasn’t great at times, but when all was said and done it turned out.

Best cabinet maker in Utah

I went in with a picture of what I wanted they came out and measured and gave great recommendations. When Jay came to measure he noticed our closet had great potential..we had no idea what that meant until we met with him in his showroom. We now have a gorgeous bathroom and the most functional closet I could ever imagine. So thankful to the Swirl Woodcraft team for making our master bath and closet a dream come true!

We recently hired Swirl for our kitchen remodel. After the install we noticed that the wrong drawers were made and installed. We had ordered and paid for solid wood drawers and we accidentally given melamine. We called the sales person, Kerry, and he offered to give us a small refund or to replace the drawers. The refund was not worth not having solid wood drawers, so we chose to have new drawers made and installed. At this point we were still understanding and ok with the mistake because Swirl was willing to right the wrong. When the installers and Kerry came to replace the drawers Kerry never once apologized for the inconvenience and they left a gigantic mess and made no attempt to clean up after themselves. My wife had to empty all of the old drawers (29 of them), then I had to clean up after the installers, and after that we had to put everything back in the drawers. A simple “sorry for the mistake and inconvenience” would have gone a long way. In the end I feel that we weren’t valued as customers because we were a smaller job. I wouldn’t recommend.

Had Swirlwood build my Kitchen for a new home. The cabinets look great until the drawers started coming loose. When I took a close look I noticed each rail had only one screw holding the back in place. Putting anything heavy in the drawer would pull out the screw. The Kitchen trash drawer fell completely out and I had to re drill and put additional screws in place. Before I noticed the issue with the Kitchen, I ordered a master closet as well. Still waiting on that and it’s been over 5 month since I made a deposit.Check for quality and make sure to get a firm install date.

I had a custom cabinet made for my bathroom. The cabinet doors started delaminating almost immediately. I have had other cabinets in other bathrooms and never had a delamination problem. I let it go for several years hoping it would stop but they got worse. When I called Swirl Woodcraft he was difficult to get in touch with never returning my calls. It took me many tries to get through and he wasnt willing to work with me saying it was a problem in my bathroom. (We always run the fan when showering.) He finally decided to try to work with me after seeing pictures. What a mistake. His guy came and ripped the doors off the cabinet and took them to be re-finished. I had to call many times to find out what was going on with the doors. Finally he said call Swirl Woodcraft. Eventually I had to go to Swirl Woodcraft and just pick up the doors which were not refinished and his estimate to replace the doors was exorbitant. I ended up having some made at a mill shop for 1/5 the price. Go elsewhere. There are many cabinet shops in SLC avoid this one.

Just got a quote for 15 Cabinet doors... They said it would be 6 months till I could have them AND they wanted over $3000.00 !!! For 15 raw Alder doors.... RIDICULOUS!
