Bassett was stellar in our new purchase of a leather sectional. From sales service on the floor to the coordination of the delivery. Gentlemen that delivered were actually a bit early to my surprise but most pleasant to talk to and assist me with the final installation of the sectional. Well Done Bassett Team!

I’ve had my custom sofa from here for a few years now. I’m very happy with how it’s held up.Good product for the price.It’s a creamy color and still looks perfect.Sometimes I use an electric lint remover on it since it’s fabric but that’s it!Very happy.

Merilee was great. She came out and measured my space and then did a diagram for me with 2 different configurations. I was concerned on couch size so the different diagrams helped. The material options are good. I cant wait for my furniture to be delivered.

Our 2nd time purchasing from Bassett. The 1st time was 2018 when we ordered a table and couch (both exceptional quality) while in Texas and the SLC store was wonderful with coordinating the delivery to our new house in Mountain Green...the most recent time was this summer when we needed new dining chairs. The staff at the SLC store (particularly Merrilee) was so friendly and helpful (and patient!) while I tried to figure out what I wanted and pick out the perfect fabric and chair design. It took a little longer than expected to deliver because of COVID but we have received them and they are absolutely perfect. Couldnt be happier with all aspects of Bassett.

Experience went from good to terrible. They have you leave a google review to get free delivery. I called to report that I left a review and Maylene White answered the phone and the very second that I would say hello shed hang up on me. It took me about 10 phone calls before she waited 2 seconds to hear me say hello. I tried to call from 3 different phone number just to get through. Her excuse to me was, well I thought you were a robo call. Lady, you thought all 3 of my phones were robo callers?! Even still, give me more than 2 seconds to prove that Im not. It was very frustrating! Get this woman off your phones! I could not believe her unprofessional behavior and how extremely rude she was. What a way to end a sale. It was pretty good up to the end.

Higher end than RC Willey, custom furniture options. Had a pleasant experience here interacting with the sales staff. They answered all my questions and let me be enough to spend as much time as I wanted testing all the chairs.

We were looking for trim lined recliners. Without fail, Bassett had them. George is awesome and seamless experience!

Theyre snobs. They didnt greet us even after I made direct eye contact and waved. Then an associate chased my sister and daughter down (they had gone farther into the store) to make sure the riff raff did touch anything. So instantly offputting that we didnt bother to stay. Pity bc theyre furniture is lovely.

The staff is exceptional. My designer Victor was wonderful and knew what I needed even when I didn’t know and made wrong choices. He kept working with me and never gave up. I ended up with the perfect chairs. They really want their customers to be satisfied and go out of their way to make sure they are. I have never had such a great experience buying furniture. I highly recommend this store and Bassett furniture.

George helped us with designing, and updating the furniture in our business. We enjoyed being able to choose the fabrics, feel them and enjoy them in the store as George helped to advise us on color and style. He was patient and kind, printed out examples of our Choices in the fabrics we were considering so that we could have a better visual of the finished design. We think it is valuable to be able to sit on the furniture and know that the finished product will be quality and sturdy.Thanks to George for his time, talent and patience. We now consider him a friend, and will be back for any of our furniture needs.

My wife and I decided it was time to upgrade to new furniture for the living room. We needed two chairs and one couch. We started to check the usual stores but did not find anything that we felt would be “just right.” You know the frustration of not being satisfied with what the usual furniture stores offer. During our shopping adventures we stopped at Bassett Furniture thinking it would be just another store with a lot of things on show that other people might like. What we found was some very comfortable and high quality furniture. The styles of the furniture was not bizarre; they were simple but aesthetic. We had an idea of the colors we wanted but we didn’t see any colors we felt would complement the existing pieces in the living room. But when Kenna, a design coordinator at the store, told us that we could choose any fabric, any pattern, and any color for the furniture we were really excited. After selecting the type of chairs and sofa, Kenna walked us through the process of choosing the right fabric and we were allowed to take some samples home. The first batch didn’t work; our original ideas were no good. So we tried again. Our second choice was better but it didn’t have the “look” we were after. With Kenna’s help we finally found the colors and patterns that looked fantastic. This purchase of furniture will be great for years and years to come. Not your typical furniture store. They have a large showroom, but most items you customize and order. I liked that they have all styles of furniture. My wife and I were looking for a modern kitchen table. We had been to 5 other stores in the area. Only one had modern styles, but the prices were the same as a new car. This was not the case here! The prices were very reasonable and the quality outstanding! The lady that helped us was super helpful and friendly as well. She helped us pick out everything for our custom table and offered great advice. It was a very great experience. I highly recommend to anyone looking for something specific to fit in their home!

I spent a whole day driving to other stores to find a couch and couldnt find anything I wanted. I came to Bassett Furniture and was so pleased! There was no pressure but such great service. George spent so much time with me laying my room configuration out on their computer program and showing me exactly how furniture would look in my space. he then showed my all the options and pricing and let me pick what worked best for me. I am thrilled to be able to order exactly what I was looking for and at a great price. Would highly recommended. George was awesome!

Had a great time shopping at Bassett. You can easily lose time playing with all the available options. Kenna was especially helpful and informative (and patient) while we were exploring all our options. She even encouraged us to take color samples home to make sure we had come to a correct decision. The BenchMade table itself is beautiful! Sold wood with lots of character. Im very happy with the craftsmanship and the knowledge that I have a dining set that will last more than a lifetime.

My wife and I have been shopping at EVERY furniture store in Salt Lake and Davis Counties for a few months to furnish a family room. We have found a few pieces here and there but nothing was working as far as a whole room concept goes. My wife finally ventured into Bassett in Salt Lake and found a sofa that she liked, but more importantly she found George. George actually came to our house to see the space we were trying to furnish. Two years ago Bobbie Roberts helped me with the purchase of a sofa and now that Im in a new home I went back to her to purchase a new dining table and chairs and a chair and a half and Ottoman. She is so helpful in choosing colors and fabrics. Always friendly and professional. You can tell she loves working with people and helping them to choose the furniture for their homes. I highly recommend Bobbie and Bassett furniture. The furniture is quality furniture, so many options to choose from and they have wonderful customer service.

We visited the store tonight looking for living room chairs. We were greeted by friendly staff but we were told to browse on our own. I found the perfect chair. It was comfortable and very stylish. Bassett SLC has a great showroom and the best customer service! After trying out several sofas, we were a little confused about what to order. Bassett has SO many options for customizing the fabric, cushioning, legs and arm styles it was slightly overwhelming! Our sales person, Kris was amazing! So helpful and patient! She spent a lot of time with me helping to pick out just the right combination of styles and fabrics for my home. She has wonderful design skills. We ended up ordering more pieces than we intended on ordering because it all came together so beautifully! She was also quick to respond via text the next day when I decided I needed a few tweaks to my order. I ordered a sectional here, and was provided great service. Merrilee took the time to explain the sofas to me, helped me pick out fabrics, and even did custom space planning. The one-on-one, knowledgeable, and friendly service the sales people here provide (without being pushy) is the best! Not to mention the high quality and custom furniture experience. We have been shopping for awhile and I wanted something original and unique to me and my home. I was leaning towards a couch in Park City I had seen the day before but it was a floor model and I wanted something custom. Walking into Basset we had no intention to buy but the no pressure approach and the beautiful displays kept us there for awhile. George walked us through the design center and made the experience enjoyable. We look forward to the custom couch we picked. We had a great experience working with Merrilee. She always offered to find coloring pages or something to entertain our kids. She was very patient with us while we were trying to make up our mind. She really listened to what we wanted. With her help we were able to choose a beautiful sofa and two chairs. I ordered an amazing couch that is custom fabrics for my home and exactly what Ive been looking for. Bobbi Roberts was a huge help with the selection of sofa style and comfort as well as in the design center. She helped me piece together pillow fabrics that I wouldnt have been able to put together myself, but I love! She was very patient and educated me on the pieces I was buying. The show room had beautiful pieces and I would recommend visiting the store before you purchase anything online.

We have remodeled our family room and because of a color change needed to replace the Bassett sofa and love seat we purchased a few years ago. We have been more than happy with our previous purchase and the expertise of designer Kenna Ellis and so we went back to Bassett for the new sofa and love seat. As before Kenna was helpful and understanding of our needs. And now our married kids are happy also - they get the sofa and love seat we are replacing as they are still in great shape.

Every time I go into Bassett Furniture, I fall in love all over again. The pieces are beautiful and so comfortable. High quality is important to them (you wont have to replace this furniture every couple of years), and the sales people are super helpful. Kenna was great, helping me to find what will be most comfortable for my body instead of trying to sell me on something more expensive. She wasnt pushy (nor has any sales person ever been pushy when Ive gone in), because she (and all their sales people) know(s) that with their great quality, I will get a piece of furniture for my home that I absolutely love. I went in to browse the sofa selection after going to a few other high quality furniture stores. I was approached by a friendly associate named Merrilee (sp). She took the time to greet me and then let me browse around the store - without the awkward experience of having a salesperson follow me around. I recently went into Bassett with my mom to find a couch for her Living Room. Right upon arrival into the store, we found just the couch she was looking for. We sat in the couch and it was so very comfortable! We quickly found other furniture pieces that we also liked. There was plenty of fabric to choose from and the toughest decision was deciding which fabric to eliminate it down to. Our sales rep was, George. He was very friendly and helpful. He was knowledgeable with the different furniture options and styles that Bassett has to offer. He didnt pressure us and gave us plenty of time to go over our options and help us to decide which furniture was the most suitable for what we were looking for. I was very pleased with the ease of ordering and purchasing the couch and the location of the Bassett store also makes it an easy buying process. I first bought furniture from Bassett 9 years ago, have been very pleased with that furniture and plan to buy more furniture from Bassett in the future!

Way over priced items!!!! Not friendly at all we got the sofa set same brand for the fraction of the price somewhere else its a joke!!!!!

Furniture is nice, but when there is s problem customer service doesn’t want to be bothered! We bought a leather sofa and there was a loose staple that made a hole in the cushion. The technician came and pulled the staple out, but we are still left with a hole . At first customer service assured us that it would be fixed, they needed to order the fabric. It’s been months since the problem and they haven’t fixed or return our phone calls. Not impressed! Won’t purchase from Bassett again. Update... they finally got the couch fixed! Thank you!

They have a new modern line and we found a new dining room table at a smoking price on sale with beautiful chairs and a sideboard to complement. George was very helpful, and patient with us working through the final selections at the best price possible. Even the delivery staff was great!

I just bought a love seat from Bassett. I worked with Bobbi and she was so helpful answering my questions and giving me the information I needed to make an informed decision. I was looking for a something that was well made on the inside not just good looking on the outside. I have had couches fall apart and lose support after a handful of months because of the lack in quality. I am very excited for the love seat to arrive.

I had such a wonderful experience dealing with George. I have purchased furniture in the past at other stores and this by far was the best experience Ive had. George helped me pick out a beautiful couch and pillows for my new condo, and also made a trip up to my place to give me tips on decorating. I have purchased bedroom furniture, a dining room set, and a sectional from Bassett. The design team has been fabulous - very professional and reliable. I am very please with the quality and design of the furniture. I plan to keep it for a very long time.On my most recent in store visit, one of the associates even took my young children aside for a little walk around the store so my husband and I could shop. The service is so fabulous.I am also a huge fan of the huge fabric selection. I have also been very pleased with the delivery service. They are totally professional and have done a great job setting up my furniture exactly where I want it.

I had stressed for over a year about updating my living room. Merilee helped me with the design and colors and created a beautiful colleague to help me visualize what it would look like before I purchased it! Super helpful! She came to my house, took measurements, included the pieces I wanted to stay and incorporated them in with the new look, she even showed up when they delivered the furniture, just to make sure everything went smooth. I felt like a VIP and more importantly she helped me design furniture and colors in my living room that I and my family absolutely love. This was all accomplished for a reasonable and fair price. I purchased rugs. couches, coffee table, after a recommendation from my daughter who had purchased from them several years previously. I have to say it was and exceptional experience. I had a large room and was wondering how to fill the space. Merrilee come out measured the space, designed the room with the needed pieces. The recommendations were perfect for the space, after picking out and ordering our items they were delivered, and setup on the time promised. I was so pleased, I recommended Bassett to my Son who also purchased furniture. Excellent customer service, sales staff, and warranty claim process if you need it. I purchased a bedroom set and swivel chair. I customized everything and was able to get good input from Merrilee. I would definitely shop here again. This is my third shopping experience at Bassett. Bassett is worth the small extra price! You do get what you pay for at Bassett.

We had looked at several other stores, but werent finding what we wanted. We walked into Bassett, and I could quickly tell that this store is a bit different. Kris took the time to listen to what we wanted and then showed us several options, explaining the advantages that Bassett offers along the way. With her help, we found and purchased the sofa we wanted. If youre looking for high quality furniture at very reasonable prices, give this store a try.

My wife and I had the wonderful experience of dealing with Kenna Ellis. We have purchased furniture a several different stores over the years in the Salt Lake area and this was by far the best experience we have ever had. Kenna helped us select the perfect pieces of furniture and she explained to us the myriad of fabric selections and styles we could choose from. I would strongly recommend going by the store and seeing what they have to offer before putting down money somewhere else. So many places pounce on you as soon as you enter the door and you almost get the feeling you are buying a used car. At Bassett you don’t get that feeling at all. We are furnishing our second home with Bassett. The first home looked so incredible everyone that looked through it during selling thought it was staged. Merrilee has helped us both times and does such a great job. She is so good at listening and applying what you’re wanting for design, but keeping it practical for daily needs. We have had such a great experience with the fabrics holding up to everything. I was so worried about our first design meeting thinking I’d hurt her feelings and it would be awkward if I didn’t like a design pick. Once we started going through everything though I never felt more comfortable, if I didn’t like something she would just start grabbing new options...which there are tons of. It is obvious that she loves designing beautiful rooms and pours her heart into each one. Merrilee, the quality and unlimited design options are why we will always stick with Bassett! ...But seriously, Merrilee ;)

Our visit to Bassett Furniture was very pleasant and the designer Merilee was very professional, friendly and most helpful! she was very sincere in her desire to help us find the right furnishings for our home.After our visit to the store, Merilee had helped us furnish our family room, kitchen and master bedroom. after choosing the furniture she came to our home and measured everything to make sure it would fit just right, she also helped with paint colors,rugs,pillows etc. we could not be more happy with choosing Bassett Furniture and Merilee to help us furnish our home!

After running all over the valley shopping for the perfect kitchen set for our newly remodeled kitchen we met with Kris at Bassett Furniture. She was very patient with us as we were very undecided on what the perfect set would be for us. We were able to take a couple of different chairs home with us and she made a visit to our home to help us with our decision. We were in and out of the store many times for probably two weeks and each time Kris was very helpful in answering our questions and concerns and guiding us to what we know will be the perfect kitchen set when it is delivered. We had been shopping around for a couch for some time and it felt like we stopped at every furniture store in Salt Lake. Most of the stores and sale people didnt seem to care much about anything but seeing that we left with something (and it didnt matter what), at Bassett there was more of an emphasis on what it was that we wanted. Merrilee was great in helping us to understand our options and we are very excited about the couch we just purchased! Bobbi was great to help us customize a sectional we needed in our home. My wife has wanted a sectional for a couple of years now, but we couldnt find something that would fit well in our basement until we spoke to Bobbi at Bassett Furniture in Salt Lake. I went into Bassett looking for a new couch. Bobbi Roberts helped me, and really gave me good, honest advice in finding the best shape and fabric for our new sectional. She drew up a floor plan for me, and was very good about walking me through the whole process. This was not my first sofa purchase, but it was certainly my most pleasant. So excited for our new sectional to arrive!!!! Bobbi is wonderful to work with, and I would recommend her to anyone!!

If you are in the market for any type of home furnishing, you need to check out Bassett Furniture in Salt Lake. The quality you get for the prices you pay is second to none. My husband and I recently stopped in and were immediately greeted by Kris, who couldnt have been a bigger help to us in making some pretty tough decisions. She even had the patience to help entertain our 18 month old. We have more furniture needs and we will definitely be going back to work with Kris and the Bassett Team.

Went shopping mid week with our 2 toddlers, George was there to help. He spent a lot of time with us answering my questions on 3 different sectionals. The furniture inside Bassett is really beautiful—I went in looking for a sleeper couch for an apartment. Kris ended up being a great help finding the perfect sofa! She could distinguish between couches according to the depth of the seat, the width of the sofa, the various mattress options available, etc. Despite the store being under remodel, she knew exactly where everything was located and quickly presented several options. She even moved things out of the way to get to the furniture we needed to see. And with the purchase of the couch, we got to select two custom pillows from several hundred fabric swatches, to be delivered with the couch, which was a nice surprise.

We bought a beautiful solid wood table from their store thats made to order in North Carolina. They have very nice selections and custom finishes. Merrilee was very helpful as an informative and patient sales rep. We couldnt be happier!

I have wanted a specific round, white table for about 10 years. I finally found what I was looking for, at reasonable price (considering what I was asking for was really hard to find somewhere else). George the designer, at Basset in Salt Lake was great. Really helpful and encouraging, but stopped way short of pressuring me to buy. I came back to the store three different times and they never acted annoyed about my being indecisive. George gave my kids candy and my husband Pepsi while I hemmed and hawed about the details of picking out new furniture. I highly recommend Basset for anyone looking for fine, specific furniture.

I had a awesome experience working with Bassett Furniture. Bobbi Roberts helped me with my purchase. I first met Bobbi in early March, I came in with my sister, Jamie and looked at sectionals. I stopped in several times after that and Bobbi helped me with any questions I had and helped me pick out fabric selections. It is now May and I am finally ready to pick up my sectional! We got a great deal on a new mattress set. The design consultant, Maylene White, was knowledgeable, insightful, and a pleasure to work with in picking out the mattress and foundation that was right for us. Very pleasurable shopping experience, thanks to Bobbi. No pressure sales. She offered and provided great detail and provided ample privacy so we could make decisions. She was attentive, helpful, and informative and did not try to up-sell. She went out of her way to make sure our needs were met and we were happy with our decisions and offered creative ideas.

We just bought a new home and after visiting several furniture stores, we read about Bassett on the internet. We gave it a try, and as soon as we entered the store, we understood the quality was very high compared to other stores. Also, the style was much more contemporary than other stores. My wife felt in love immediately with a table and a bench. I was a little skeptical at the beginning, but Kris helped us out and we came out with a great deal! Why do I appreciate Bassett furnishings? Great quality and the price is accessible, but what made the difference is the style of the furnishings. It is really updated and closer the current European tastes. Overall, it has been a great experience and we will surely buy other pieces for our home!

George helped us find the perfect dining set. He was great to work with and wasnt pushy. I loved the ability to chose just want we want. Weve been shopping at Bassett for more than 10 years and prefer the qualify over the big box furniture stores. Well be back!

This is a very clean, well run store, with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The fabrics are beautiful and you can tell the furniture is high quality. We purchased a custom sectional here, and are anxiously awaiting its delivery. The reason im rating this 4/5 stars is because our sales person forgot to mention which types of arms our couch has. We pointed at a couch and said we like those arms, but that was never solidified in the plans, so I had to call in and make sure the sales person took down the right type of arms. Other than that oversight, this is a lovely store with friendly, helpful staff.

My girlfriend and I were impressed by the customer service. George was very helpful and had answers to all of our questions. We had previously been to other Furniture stores but were not helped at all, the quality and customer service presented at other stores was subpar in comparison. We will definitely be coming back for more! As a post note, we are very impressed by the quick delivery schedule!

We went to Bassett to do some comparative shopping. Kris was most helpful in helping us define our need, select the furniture options, send us home with fabric samples to help us finalize colors, and upon our return, help us complete the purchase. Trust in the sale was very important, for both us and Bassett. Kris was not high pressure but very helpful. We returned because we wanted to buy, not because we had been sold. We feel she was confident that shed given us enough compelling reasons that we would return and not go elsewhere. Kris, it was a pleasant shopping experience.

We visited Bassett at the recommendation of Summit Vista. We were looking for a small scale sectional couch for my parents Independent Living apartment. I looked at a lot of couches before coming to Bassett and the vast majority were oversized and uncomfortable. The couch needed to be comfortable and scaled to fit the space as well as my petite parents. George Venturino was very helpful and accommodating and showed us the perfect couch!

We went on Labor Day to get a good deal and it was a pleasant experience. I HATE when you are bombarded with sales people and that didn’t happen here. Just some friendly elderly sales women who let us browse and answered our questions when we needed. Bassett is for sure more expensive than RC Wiley or Ashley’s but they had the tastes we were going for and it seems like great quality so we went for it.

I am a picky individual and she gave me plenty of space and time to play with fabrics and coordinating pillow fabrics to make sure I had chosen options I was absolutely certain about.
