All the good reviews are written by the owner or others affiliated to him.. he or his assistant (sylvia) in fact made a fake account with out consent through one of their employees to put in a good name, since they cannot obtain actual good reviews. 😂

I remember back in 2009 I had a Camry Toyota 1999 my brother in law gave me a jump switch the cables on my car I thought it was a gone and mr. Vu cao picked up my car and fixed it I know he is honest about his work and good person.

This mechanic shop only cares about making the they have a bad habit of over charging the customers and recommended repairs that dont need to be made. do not go to the shop at all costs. If you care about your vehicle or wallet.

They told me AC recharge was $260, are you serious??? In California is $100, so I looked around and I got it done for $80, it’s ridiculous expensive there!

Honestly speaking I have never been to such a cleanliness auto repair company before this place gets my 5 stars there are the best! for the longest other locations of auto repair could not find out the problem with my vehicle and withing a matter of minutes the solved my crisis! The staff is very friendly and nice in all aspects of customer service they made me feel like a very much wanted client! Very quick and efficient! Definitely recommend!

Ive been taking our vehicles to Vu at V&L Auto Service for any mechanical repairs for more than 5 years. I lived in Ogden but have to drove all the way to Salt Lake City for all my vehicles mechanical issues or repairs. His the only person i trusted for my vehicles repairs. If you think he rips you off thats totally wrong you just cant afford their service. You pay for what you get. If you needed a good, reliable and trusted mechanic Vus the one to go with.

You can price check his parts and labour and you will see this is the place to go. I will not go anywhere else.

Trust me Ive looked elsewhere and gone to a few places other that Vus and I always come back cause his prices cant be beat and they will warranty their work and work with you to keep you a happy camper! For the most part i am pretty satisfied with the service but sometimes i feel they can over price. But other than that i am satisfied. They do really good work on my old truck.

Honest, affordable and reliable are how I would describe V and L Auto. I get pretty much all my repairs done here because they do it for a reasonable price, and they do it right. Ive had everything from an oil change to having an engine rebuild done here. In every case, Vu is always available to answer questions and help you understand the work being done and why its important. Most other mechanics do not give you that level of service.

My car got in a accident back in June I called a lot of body shop to get a quote every one I call the price it cost more than my 2002 Honda Civic worth I called V&l auto where all my family come for repair they are great they only fix what it need to be fix the price it great I am happy my car now it new like it was and cheap,quality repair.these guy are great.

I had a clutch replaced here which they completed in a timely fashion. They forgot to properly tighten the fill plug in my transmission and after a while the plug fell out, I lost all my trany fluid, and had to buy a new transmission... I also asked them to bleed the brakes and put in brand new brake fluid during the original repair. They did not do this but still charged me for the work. I will never go here again and recommend anyone else to find a different mechanic.

I dont usually do reviews, but this one has to be written. This is the worst mechanic i have ever had work on my vehicle. They use dishonest practices to milk you for your money. They returned my car with grease stains, broke the air conditioning while trying to work on something else, charged me $300 for work that didnt need to be done and couldnt fix the issue. BUYER BEWARE! If there was an option to give them fewer stars than 1, I would. Id like to give them -5. They appear to be able to do basic stuff like change oil, but beyond that Id run from these guys. VERY VERY VERY BAD.

I recently took my honda civic here for a restoration and i never have been so impressed with not only the prices but the owner Mr Vu and his manager Crystal. With my recent brake services on credit at their magna shop they gave me excellent quotes on my Honda in a price range i could afford. My 1998 Ford F150 V8 Triton with 236,000 miles on it, had a lot of problems, that no one else seem be able to fix properly, including oil leaks, electrical problems, heating and cooling, suspension, check engine light, power and exhaust. He was able to diagnose these problems in a timely manner and fix them quickly and properly. I was very impressed with there knowledge and attention to detail. Now my truck runs like new! The repairs are reasonably priced. Recently they did a water pump and belt replacement on my car. It was hands down the best price in n town. After a couple of months my car started to squeal again. Vu looked at it tightened the belt at no cost to me. They stand behind their work.I live next door and I see them there from sun up to sun down. They work hard. Anytime Ive had a repair it is back to me in no time. Crystal is also great. She communicates quickly and is very friendly.I only have one concern. Im sometimes quoted a price and it is higher in the end. Sometimes its better. I dont think this is Crystals fault. It usually is more because of unanticipated labor. Vu estimations seem to be accurate, but the other mechanics misqoute me everytime.

He helped me tighten my battery that’s been bothering me for months, VERY HELPFULLY he also put air in my tire and told me so much helpful things that I can get done here for cheap instead of other places! Very good place I recommend you come here!!

Horrible place. Wish I wouldve read the reviews first. They tack on nonexistent charges or charge you for services they actually didnt do. They messed up the paint on a company truck and then when asked to take off paint splatter they decided that painting over their sloppiness with a different color and shine would be sufficient. Crooks. They were paid to weld some floorboards and instead they siliconed them and painted over it. Stay far away

Great service, Ive been coming here for years because these people are easy to work with and are negotiable. they are fast very fast and thats the truth. Im picking up my car now for an alternator repair and I dropped it off an hour ago, so im happy.

My car was in an accident and they fixed it, it runs good and the front doesnt look like it ever got in an accident. Overall satisfied with the work done here.

Im one happy dude today. One of Vus excellent mechanic spent the time needed to pull the codes that pin pointed the real problem for my BMW X3 when others quoted alternator and fuel pump problems that would have cost me over $900 in repairs. What a relief. His honest practice saved me money and as of today - now a month later the car is still trouble free. I ended up paying $245 for the necessary service at V&L auto - this shop located on the west side of town did a great job fixing my bimmer problem and with professional honesty.Thanks Vu and staff. To dyani johnson i usually don`t rely with negative post about v&l auto repair i am a mechanic for vandl at the time that your husband brought us a rusted,ruin dump truck with all floor board rusted every where i am very sure that you guy saving atleast $2000-$4000.00 dollars replaced your work truck floor to pass the safety inspection,your husband aproved the repair the floor board came to check the vehicle ask us to do more work without paying any extra we have spent well more than 6 hours of extra work on your truck with charge you a single penny, you and yourhusband did not say a thanks to us all you want is free work we did the best work on your truck floor you know that .it really no fair for us with all our hard work put in your truck,and extra work not even on the work order than get a negative review no fair Dyani-johnson.

I took my blazer for a fuel pump, took my own part the owner quoted me $75.00 to put it in but was charged $260.00 from Rosa. Was over charged and they wont give me my money back. If that Rosa lady works there they will lose a lot of business.

PLEASE READ: When going to visit V&L Auto be really careful because they overcharge for their work. I got a $1,000 diagnostic fee and had to lose my car because they gave me 2 options: A. Fix my car for $2,000 or B. Pay them $1,000 for the diagnostic or they wouldnt give me my car back. I LOST MY CAR. I have come to find out that the Owner LIN (asian owner) uses certain tricks to make the cars repairs sooooo expensive and people cant pay for it so he can keep the car and request a title from the DMV. Several people lost their cars over there and no wonder they always sell cars there without the MVED approval.

I came here to do emission and inspection they did great job in few minutes

My semi batteries went dead and I knew if I call those typical truck stops will charge an arm and leg. So I called V & L auto and they charged me 50% less than those truck stops.John came out and jumped started the semi in minutes.Thank you John and V & L auto.
