Pretty laid back and only interested in doing the bare minimum. The truck we looked at was really dirty, with garbage in the back seat and stuff in the bed of the truck. The test drive revealed some engine issues which were waived away as no big deal. If you buy a car here be very careful to inspect everything. All of the cars are salvage titles.

Pretty good overall. Apparently they dont fill the tank for you when you buy a vehicle. Also had to wait an hour for detailing even though the car was purchased and signed 4 days earlier. Still, overall a good experience.

Our sales rep wasnt overly aggressive but at the same time wasnt overly helpful. After reading other reviews sounds like theres a high chance of getting a real lemon of a repair job and they get cheaply repaired totalled vehicles. You can see it in the paint jobs. It gets worse from there. Dont buy on visit one and have the vehicle checked elsewhere. They are a sales shop are are not completely forth coming without being asked the right questions. I think you can get a great deal here just keep in mind you are buying what the insurance companies did call trash. Also registration and insurance is problematic on these cars. They are also not rated by the BBB. Theres a reason for that Im sure. Dont get distracted by the shiny paint.

It was actually a pretty poor experience. I purchased a vehicle pressman only a few months back. First time I brought it in the were awesome! I was having a couple issues with the lights not being adjusted and the alignment being off. When I talked to them on the phone, the guy was super helpful and told me it would be around 30 bucks. I was stoked and brought my car in. When I got there a different guy told me that it would be a max of 70 ish. I dropped off the vehicle got a ride to work thinking all was well. After a couple of hours (for what I was told was a simple fix) I had to call back in to track down my car because I needed to go home from work. I tracked the guy down, he told me my car was done and the amount was a little different then we had talked. I had to find my own ride over their, and when I got there they ended up charging me over 100 bucks, including charges for work that the first person I talked with told me was no big deal and they would take care of it.In the end I just feel like I kept getting up charged, on work I shouldn’t have had to have done after owning a car only a few months,I rAm really bummed because I have had good experiences in the past and really expected more. I have referred quite a few people to prestman, but I won’t keep doing that, I think I have had my last experience with them as well. Bummer.

Prestman service in SLC is the best! Professional, honest & quick! I trust them to repair my Lexus! They have taken excellent care of me from basic tune up needs to unexpected repairs. I recently had an experience where the sunroof stopped working & wouldnt close. The Lexus dealership near my house after an all day assessment and $135 fee said it would be $5,000 to repair it! Wow!!! No way would I pay that much! I was shocked so I brought it to Prestman in SLC where I purchased the car. They took less than an hr & the cost to repair it was $75. Not only did they get the job done quickly but also correctly!! Prestman auto service goal was to take care of me as a repeat customer! I appreciate them not taking advantage & charging a ridiculous amount to fix something that wasnt even needed! I strongly recommend Prestman auto for all your car needs! They are the best!! First may I start out by saying that their word of mouth and systems aren’t the best. Let me explain. About a year and a half ago, when we bought our car, there were some costmetic things that we wanted fixed but they needed the parts for. We waited a week and still no call backs. So we called them back several times and they didn’t get the ball rolling and kept saying they would call us back. After so long we gave up because they wouldn’t do anything. They wouldn’t do our costmetic repairs for free because it had been such a long time even though they said they would fix it for free when we first bought it. They eventually found an email with proof that we did in fact mention it and only then would they do the service for free. Beware of time, and word of mouth. It come back to bit you. We got lucky.

I was getting several frustrating service error messages on my 2012 Ford Fusion over the past several months, so I took it into Prestman Service last week. The service manager was amazing (I cant remember his name! but he came from Sales over to Service fairly recently) and took great care of me. He gave me updates while I waited, and later explained the service departments diagnosis. Prestman Service took care of me and helped me avoid a $2,000 repair bill that the Ford dealership told me I needed before the problem could even be properly diagnosed!Each time I go to Prestman, they take care of me 100% without exception, and each visit is a treat rather than a hassle. Management and staff here are among the best in the business, and hopefully they are recognized for being such. Kudos to you all, and I will definitely return to Prestman for my future automotive sales and/or service needs!Thanks for everything!

Prestman Auto is a great place to purchase a vehicle for a good price and Id recommend them to purchase a car. Dont bother with the warrenty service. Dont let them sell you on a warrenty.The service staff is friendly enough but the service is terrible.I needed a new windshield wiper motor for my vehicle and my lights adjusted. At first they said they might be able to check the lights under warrenty. Then suggested I put after market lights on the vehicle when they were the ones purchased with the vehicle. They removed the light so its now completely out and said they cant do anything about the light. Now I have to go somewhere for the light.Fine lights usually arent under warrenty anyway and was willing to pay to get them repaired.Its been almost 2 months now and still nothing on my wiper motor. I called they said it would be less than then the deductible and I said yes please just order the part and do the repair.Still nothing. We had the same experience with our second vehicle we purchased from them. Ask for a repair and you will never hear from them. Take my advice and dont buy their warrenty. Go somewhere else for that if you feel the need to get one.Im dont dealing with the service department. They never call back or follow up.

I wish there was an option for 0 stars. Worst car buying experience Ive ever had. Lied to on multiple items by sales team: Well throw in floor matts, well fix your leaky axle seals no problem, we can get you a 2nd key for about $50.OK, its the car game I get it.But then after I paid them $250 for floor mats, cant get a call back for 2 months to find out if they came in. Sales manager, service department, parts department - good luck getting call back after you bought.Then it took them 3 days having my truck to lead me on about the axle seals - a $300 job by the way - to say theyre not going to do it after all. But well sell you a 2nd key for another $250. But that will be another 2 days to get programmed. You dont really need that truck for a week right?Unbelievable. How are they still in business?I hope the extra money they milked out of me was worth it. I wont be back and you shouldt do business with them either.
