I have no reason to give anything less than five stars so far. George at the front desk was friendly and accommodative. If I ever need a last minute oil change again, will certainly consider here.

The entire bottom panel of our car was unsecured and dropped to the ground for 60 miles until we got home. The panel is ruined and needs replaced. I was able to secure it in place long enough to wait and order a new panel and rivets.

Brought my friend Forest here since they did such a great job on my car! As always, they were kind, professional and did excellent work in an amazing time frame! Its so nice to find good, honest mechanics and nice people in the world...we are so grateful for Jorge and Antony🙂you guys made our day!!

In contrast to what this customer (Jared Jarrett) is saying and leaving a bad review I want to say that I was there the same day at Meineke for A/C service and I had the best experience ever! Even though they were short handed of people as everywhere else…they were able to get my car fixed the same day at the right price!, but here is one thing that caught my attention that day and I want to let to Meineke’s manager/owner know that while I was seated waiting for my car to be serviced I overheard this customer (Jarrett) saying to his wife he’ll call to corporate to complain about the horrible service they got at this location, ….then the wife added saying to him if he complains big time saying “they” left a couple of loose bolts they would get their money back and 10 free oil changes !! …… well, the truth of that claim is they were arguing with the service writer about the oil change price for their car, when the guy at front desk told them that their car has a Diesel engine and takes a different kind of oil which it is more expensive and the coupon they had for $21 doesn’t apply for their car, they were not happy at all…..however they told him to go ahead with the service ……….so Meineke owners be aware of this kind of people out there trying to take advantage of businesses like yours.

Jorge and his team were very professional and did very good work. They suggested a few things I may need done in the future but never pressured me at all.. They are good trustworthy people and I will be bringing my car back when I need more work done!! Thank you guys!!!

Called them after another Car repair shop quoted me a high price to fix my A/c. They saved me money and Jorge got it done in just a couple of hours! Very impressed by their friendly service and super quick repair time. Going to switch to them for my other repairs now as well. Highly recommend them.

I am a truck driver and dont have much time for getting things done in the time I have off, before returning to work for 7 full weeks. I had a problem taking my truck into a Chevy dealer to get work done. And I ran across this Meineke shop on Google search. I call them and talked to Jorge personally, and asked If I could bring my truck in for a tune up and oil change. He said no problem, we can get you in Tuesday. So I made an appointment, and he had my truck ready 2 hours later. And I was very satisfied with the work being done when he said it would. I highly recommend this shop, for their professionalism. They do what they say, and dont use progressive sales tactics to boost their profits. Five stars are given for five star service and values. Thank you Jorge for taking care of the things I needed done.

The work was done in a timely manner and the guys there were very professional and friendly. We needed our muffler to be fixed so we could get back home to another state. They helped us out in a big way! I would use them again if I am ever in the area! thank you! This should have been a five star! I updated!

Made appointment on line for same day oil change. Attendant knew I needed full synthetic, started when I arrived, was professional and courteous, and had it done when promised. Cost less and was quicker than Jiffy Lube and without all the hype to buy a lot of extra add-one. I’ll go here again.

It was AWFUL! They told us our AC would be fixed in 2 hours. After 4 hours and me calling twice, they quoted us an outrageous price to pay for it to be fixed. Of course we said no and when we went to pick it back up, the AC blows hot air when it wasnt doing it before! THEY MADE OUR CAR WORSE!!!!!

I was looking for a place to weld my car support bar and needed someone to do it ASAP as I don’t have any other time to do this. Called few other places and all of them either can’t do it immediately or they don’t even do it. Finally found Meineke and they can do it without having to make an appointment or wait for long. When I arrived, they fixed it in a very short time span in a matter of 10-15 mins and I don’t have to wait hours for the job to be done.They were very friendly and helpful as well and I felt comfortable almost immediately with them. I then left my other car for transmission and oil change and they finished the job on the same day without any hassle. I will definitely go to Meineke again for all of my cars services in the future. Really glad I have found them.

I have been going to this shop since my first car they were awesome had fair prices and actually called and gave you updates. But now are ten years of going here my last visit was not great the new crew charge so much for simple exhaust work. I would not recommend going here your going to get ripped off I would suggest simply performance they are great and do not over charge.

So I took my car in for a Free Diagnosis test and he came back n told me its going to be $1285 not included taxes...for my crusie control to be working again...I really needed it don....but that price was just out of my league...they are too pricey and the length of time was too long to wait for it...I will never go there again... especially now that I have found a real mechanic that is honest in his dealings if you ever need a estimate on something lmk and Ill check for you...my new mechanic came to my home n was in n out within a hr...for $340...now Vegas here we come

Jorge and the guys at this location are absolutely fantastic. Their prices are very reasonable their work is excellent and how fast they get things done is amazing. I take all my cars to them after having bad experiences with other mechanics. I have yet to have a bad experience with this location. I highly recommend them for all your mechanical needs.

Meineke in Salt Lake did a great job replacing the worn-out muffler on my old Suburban. The service was done in a couple of hours and the cost was exactly as estimated.

They do not do anything they say they will do. They promised the van would be done in a half a day it is going on 3 days, one lie after another. The only service I received was lip service.

I went to Meineke for an oil change and had the guys look at a leak. After 4 hours they told me that leak would cost me about $500.00 in labor. Took it to another shop....got it done for $300.00 less. Be careful with this place. Theyre nice but theyre outrageous in price.

Amazing team! My regulator for window was broken and they took care of it and worked hard to get my car back in good standing. Definitely would recommend and will go back for future services.

This is my first & last time using this company, I got my serpentine belt fixed by them, although they did fix it. After being told to wait to speak to someone 20 minutes went by, they were busy so it was understandable.Then the guy at the front helped me for a split second to then be asked to wait, 20 more minutes and I am looking for someone to speak to as there is only one other customer in the store. I show up to get my car & was told my transmission was out & it needed to be replaced. I was not told this information before hand, I asked the man at the front why the information wasn’t transmitted to me. He sat there & blamed me while yelling at my mother in law & I. I paid the man for the service of the serpentine belt, to then go out to my car & attempted to turn it on. The battery was completely dead, I went back inside & asked why I was not informed that my battery was dead. he then stated “the battery isn’t a big deal, so we neglected to tell you”i’m sorry if the battery is turning the car on it isn’t a big deal but from his words of “we have had to jump it multiple times” sounds like it’s a big deal. Side note they left my car in neutral, which causes the battery to die when not being left on, a second side note if the battery is dead there is no way of knowing the transmission needs service, there was no service lights on. I jumped my car & brought it over to a transmission special which they stated “nothing is wrong with your transmission, everything is running perfectly”Besides all of this my car was brought to them on Saturday when I received a call letting me know it would be done before they closed, to then get a call that they ordered the wrong part for my vehicle, which is fine, stuff happens. It remained at the shop until Tuesday, where there were more issues with my vehicle that I was not informed about, I did call on Monday & the man at the front desk said it was ready to be brought home. Sadly I was working so it had to wait until Tuesday, I did receive a voicemail asking for me to call a company called “mikey muffler & brake” which this is not what this shop is called. I didn’t call back due to my vehicle not being at a shop under that name, thinking it was a spam call.I am beyond frustrated, after three hours of talking & being yelled at by each technician (total of five that the guy at the front had come out) after calling many shops asking about the battery etc. my theory was correct, they drained my battery & had kept it in neutral for over 24 hours. I asked for paperwork on what was done to my car & a report of the condition of my car upon arrival since they had stated “the battery was dead when it arrived, we jumped it to even get in into the shop”, he stated “we don’t have paperwork for your vehicle, i have only what we charged you for”After realizing they were being extremely rude he said you can leave it here & we will fix your transmission with half off, he would have not been giving me a discount if he knew himself & his crew had done nothing wrong in the past four days of having my vehicle & the three hours of yelling directly at me & my mother in law.Each technician had a separate story about when my vehicle got there the damage it had the condition of my vehicle when it arrived etc. not one person had a straight answer on why my car was leaving with a broken transmission & a dead battery. I would like the manager & corporate of the company to reach out to me. So I am able to let them know what is happening at the shop when no one is round.

I have brought my car here over the last three weeks to still have an ongoing issue. First week i needed to get a new radiator and hoses as i was having a pretty bad leak. they fixed it new hoses and everything. get my car back drive it for about 2 days before it starts leaking coolant again. take it back and they say one of the clamps on the hose came loose easy fix and i thought it was just a odd issue. get my car back two more days go by and a new leak happens. this time not coolant but transmission fluid from the feeder line going into the radiator. take it in again they say i need a new line. i agree to have it done as i need my car. they fix it and i picked it up today and guess what its still leaking. I am not coming back to this location. I wanted to trust the work and be good about it but if things keep breaking after something gets fixed something is not being done right.*****Update: so 8 months later my car is having coolant leak issues again, take it to my new mechanic and the hose that was replaced here was put on improperly and started to balloon. Also at the time I was told I needed a new water pump and was pushed to get it done here. I declined as I couldnt afford all the work right then. Come to find out my water pump is in great shape. So not only did the work get done improperly but was pushed to doing something that was not needing to be fixed so dishonest as well.****

This place is horrible,! Replaced my fuel pump and now leaking gas from top of tank and shop will not address the issue. Contacted Meineke headquarters it took them over a month to finally return my call to discuss. Well Meineke don care either. Stay away from this shop and any other Meineke as their warranty is worthless. Paid for work to be done, it is not completed, vehicle not safe to be driven because it is leaking fuel....hmmm, I guess they are good with that. Filed complaint with BBB, but that is all you can do is submit a complaint. Still seeking out other consumer resources to hold these shops accountable. For now I will just advise anybody I know that this shop & Meineke are not a good source for service or repair. By the way I would not give this shop any stars but unfortunately you have to gieve at least a star in order to submit. -0- Stars*Follow up* I did exactly as requested, reached out to number provided and was routed through Meineke and spoke with representative that was very nice. She contacted to shop directly to route me to them to discuss situation. Representative spoke with somebody at shop stated that George is the owner and he will be back shortly and to call back. George is the shop contact that I spoke with originally and based on the BBB information for this business, he is not the owner. George is the person that I spoke with originally and do not wish to speak with him again, he is very unprofessional and unpleasant. I left my number with Meineke requesting owners to call me back (not George) and we could discuss a correct. I will keep you all informed as everybody possible needs to know about businesses that are not looking out for best interest of customers. If they can take the monies, they can complete the work properly and stand behind what they are preaching.

Well I called them two hours before arriving asking for the price to do tramssion filter and flush on a 2002 Pontiac atez . I was first told over the phone it was going be $100 plus taxes . Well when I got there the guy behind the Conner didn’t seem what he was doing or talking about . Literally was standing for about 15 minutes until he got everything taking care of then the price went up to $235 plus taxes . So I was little upset by that and let them do the work then I come back they charged me $278 for labor and taxes like that’s so much more than the Original price that they gave me. So either they need hire experience people who knows what they are talking about or train the people they have the right way ! So I won’t be doing business with these guys agian .

The absolute worst. There are countless dozens of mechanics in the city, go to any one of them. I was a first time customer and they held my car hostage for nearly 2 hours because their system was buggy. I begged them to let me pay cash and leave because I was extremely late to work and they couldnt have cared less. Truly terrible service.

I was a little skeptical at first because I know nothing about cars, but I needed a Cadillac converter for my car and took it to these guys. I did find a place that was cheaper to do it after looking around, but I told them and they matched the price and threw in a free service, got me a battery for my key, they got it done quick, great customer service. Then a couple days later I got a thank you card in the mail for my business along with these really delicious brownies, that was the topping on the cake. I would recommend these guys they are great!!

Service was fine at this place, but a couple months later when i went to get my emissions done for the year, i was told by the servicer that my oil filler cap was missing. it had been since my oil change. my fault for not checking, but maybe check all the parts yourself before leaving this place.

I spent 900$ at this shop and they didn’t fix the problem. They had my truck for the better part of the week and my truck is still not fixed.. I’ve never had a worse experience EVER!! I would never bring a vehicle here ever...

I’m pretty impressed with this place. I was able to get my truck in for an oil and filter change with tire rotation on a walk-in for $65. They also told me that my rear brake pads should be replaced soon (which I was aware of), but they left it at that. No high-pressure sales tactics or anything. Friendly staff and timely service. I usually do my own oil changes, but at this price? I’ll be back.

Ouch!!! I called Saturday to get a price on front brakes. I supplied the brake pads and brake rotors for the front of my 2002 ford escape. The gentleman told me they could slap em on for me for 150.00. Out the door. 250.00 ??? So to replace just my front brakes and rotors, cost 400.00. They so ripped me off for 45 min of work.

Not good under new management. Needed a new muffler. The mechanic took off two hangers and only replaced one of them. Had to go back the next day and ask him to put the second one back on.

Worst experience ever! Do not waste your time here! They will rip you off. I was not even able to get a receipt. These kind of people deserve to be in jail and the worst ever! They have no shame whatsoever of what they do to others.

Had an appointment scheduled for an oil change. Car wasn’t seen until about 30 minutes after appointment time. Expected to be in and out fairly quickly, as other Meineke locations have finished my oil change within an hour. Other locations are much kinder and informative than this one.Came here for the convenience and because the Murray location is closed, but it’s worthwhile to just set the time apart and see an honest and caring local auto mechanic than to come back to a place like this again. The whole experience ended up taking almost 2 1/2 hours. If one person had at least apologized about the wait or explained what the delay was, this review would be very different. It seems like they take the extra effort to let you know how little they care about your time.

Made an online appointment for an oil change.When I arrived, I was told that my coupon was not valid for the salt lake location.I showed the owner my coupon that clearly showed his address and he still refused to honor the coupon. I was baited on a $17.99 deal that switched to $39.99.I took my business elsewhere.This place is shady.

Very disappointed they were very nice over the phone and gave me a price for the work I needed done, they were cheaper than a place right by my house so i made the drive to save on money. I also stated I had a coupon and if I could use it they said yes so price that was quoted would be cheaper. When I went in and the work was done they said they already included coupon with what they gave over the phone, they charged me more than what they said over the phone. What they ended up charging me was exactly what the place right by my house charges, if they were more honest about their prices I wouldnt have taken the drive all the way over there! I even told him that they were cheaper than places I called and a place right by my house and I made the drive just for that. Also as I was waiting there for over 2 and a half hours 2 previous customers were already coming back because something wasnt right with what they did. So Im just hoping whatever they did to my car was good and I wont be needing to go back there again.

Horrible experience. Owner has no clue what customer service is. I went in on Saturday to get warranty brake work. Said I would have to pay for pads and submit reimbursement to corporate. I left, called corporate on Monday. They transferred the warranty from Idaho to Utah. I went back Tuesday when they opened at 8. Technician took wheels off to do work then called the owner who wasnt there. Owner told him not to do any more work, that hed be there by 930 (it was 9). Later said 1030. I waited. Didnt come until 2. Claimed had a meeting (right!). Said he had told technician not to work on my car because he thought I was someone else. They did the work and I left at 450. ALL DAY - 9 HOURS!!!! SO RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE. No sincere apology. No adjustment to cost or any offer to make it right. Plus owner told me I needed all four brakes done on Saturday but technician told me on Tuesday I had 60% left on the rear. Trying to make an extra buck! Go somewhere else!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. They charge premium prices for horrible work. After given a quote on a Monday morning, I dropped off my truck to get an exhaust system installed and was told it would be done by the end of the day. After multiple updates of my trucks progress; and three days later, my truck was finished. The tips coming out from under my cab were jagged and looked like it was cut from a shark biting it off, no effort was given to clean up ends at all. Upon further investigation, I looked at all the welds, and they were horrible. Im pretty sure my 5 year old would produce the same quality welds if I put the mig welder in his hands.Next time I need exhaust work, I will not be coming here.

They changed my front axles and charged me 829.00 and online they have a coupon for 10.00 off a 100.00 and 20 off 200.00 and 50.00 off 500.00 and they wouldnt give me the discount and they also charged me 87.50 for 1 quart of transmission oil. And they wouldnt work with me at all even the manager and tried to talk to the manager and he said I will give you a discount on the next service but I cant give you a discount at all on this service!! Terrible customer service!!Why wont you use the coupons that your company publishes online!!

I had an appointment for an oil change. When I arrived there were 3 other people in the lobby. The man at the counter helped all 3 and then walked out leaving me alone in the lobby. Didnt even acknowledge me. Waited 5 more minutes for ANY kind of greeting and got none. Left and went to Jiffy Lube around the corner where they got 5 stars.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!Brought my car in to get my AC checked because it was not working. They told me it would take 2-4 hours and that they would call me. 24 hours later they still hadn’t called so I went in and it still wasn’t done!Again they told me they would call in an hour when they were finished so I waited...no call. I called them and they said that I needed to replace my compressor.I waited over 24 hours and they charged me $177 to tell me that I needed a new compressor.Horrible service. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Service was horrible! The man working was rude and did not listen. I made an appointment and said I wanted to wait for the diagnosis. He told me I didn’t have an appointment and I would have to leave my car and come back on Monday. I drove 40 miles to get a diagnostic on my car it’s a 30 minute max service I will never go back here. I went somewhere else and was treated like gold!!!!!

Great customer service

The service was fine but i dropped my car off at 1pm and i finally received a call at 4pm to find out they were only just starting the oil change. Then they called back at 4:30pm and told me it was done and they closed at 5pm so i had to come get it now. I expected the service to only last an hour at most and i would have appreciated a head up that they planned to use up the whole day because i had things to do and i was stranded without a car.

The crew working here was very nice. However, I ended up waiting about an hour even though I went in for just an oil change and there were no other customers waiting. They said it was taking longer because my car took a special kind of oil filter that they didn’t have in stock and they had to wait for one to be delivered/picked up? But I drive a Chevrolet, so I don’t know how special my oil filter really is. They did inform me that the previous shop I had taken it to (Jiffy Lube) didn’t even bother replacing the oil filter. Also, when I got back in my car there were dirty footprints all over the mat on the driver’s side. I suppose it’s better that they skimped on the paper floor covers rather than the oil filters, but it was still disappointing. Overall, they seem like a trustworthy shop that just needs to brush up on the finer details of customer service.

I went in to Meineke this morning for a break job and I got to deal with the best and most honest and knowledgeable people! I was told in 2 other mechanic shops I went in that I would spend around $1400 replacing 4 rotors and break pads for my van but when I called Meineke George was so helpful and got me in within 30 minutes without having an actual appointment with them and the best of all they told me that my rear breaks were fine and I just could wait for at least 4 to 5 months so I ended up replacing my front break pads and rotor only, I was able to save a lot of money thanks to them. I would highly recommend this place to anyone for you car repairs.

This location is an absolute JokeThe guy that was going to change my oil could not evan open the hood .... and i had a strange feeling, so I just canceled the oil change and left .... i looked online ... called in to the specific location.... asked about the price and asked if they will take the 30% off coupon.. yes of coarse... when I get there they dont accept coupons because corporate something....I ended up going to Ford Larry H Miller it was cheaper ... i got a professional mechanic and they washed my carI m not saying go to Ford.... i m saying : dont evan think about going to the meineke ( that location)

I came in for an ac issue. Wasn’t staying cold in city traffic. 2 hours and 15 minutes later was told they had done an ac charge and that I was 2 ounces low on coolant. Went to pay and they tried charging me more than i was told. The ac was still working as it was when i brought the car in. Three weeks later I brought my Volvo into my regular mechanic. He did a flush on my coolant and added dye. No leaks were detected and he added 2 ounces of coolant. AC is working wonderfully. I do not recommend this Meineke auto shop. This was my first and last visit here. I learned my lesson and it cost me $140 and a little over 2 hours of my time. In my opinion, they are running a scam on people with ac issues. My regular mechanic charged me for a half hour of labor and with the added coolant, the bill came to $61.

KC was awesome. My husband passed away Saturday. The Thursday before my back brakes started growling. I had his family coming in town and they don’t drive. I called and he got me right in and back on the road. I highly recommend going to KC on State and 30th south.

They are the most honest and most knowledgeable when it comes to Auto repair. I went in for a brake check and they told me my brakes were perfectly fine. I honestly think they deserved to be paid for their honesty.

This was my first time trip to a Meineke other than the one Ive been to for 6 years and I will definitely be back. I believe his name started with a D but the man who helped me was incredibly nice and helpful. He was also getting used to working with the office/processing equipment (as he primarily worked only on the cars before) and though he was very timely he apologized profusely for taking too long.While I was there the street had a power outage as well but the team managed to get things running and get me out the door in a time I was still pleased with.Will be returning for my next oil change

The staff was professional and personable. Great service for a decent price. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the waiting area wasnt kid friendly, but I guess most car shops arent.

They advertise a $24.95 oil change at this location on their website and on Google Maps. I made an appointment through their website and they sent me a coupon for $17.95. When I arrived at the appointment they said they dont honor those prices and it would be $39.95! If you arent honoring the franchise prices work things out with corporate so its not advertised at your location. I was going to inquire about getting my struts replaced too.. Next time you order a Little Caesars hot-and-ready I hope they charge you $11.25.

Went in for a walk in for a catalytic converter. Left almost in 90min, was able to finish a movie on my Netflix. Nice, smooth and easy.

He gave me a very fair estimate and took my car in on short notice, performed the necessary repairs and had me out the door later that same day, at a very fair price.I will absolutely be coming back for all my basic auto repair and maintenance needs. Its hard to find honest folks like this in a small local shop.The Mlmanager (Mark if I remember correctly) has earned my repeat business.//original review.Sam(owner) and Fritz(tech) are incredibly fair and kind people. They wont ever try to sell you on something you dont need. I was shocked to see the prices on the estimate they gave me for some work I am needing to have done. Its almost half the price I was quoted by Burt Brothers. definitely give these folks a shot. You wont be disappointed.

Really helpful! We had to drop off our car on a Saturday and didnt get it until Monday evening, but the mechanic was great at communicating with us and he waited for us to pick it up after hours on Monday. It was a bit pricey for a fix (our clutch was out), but all is well now!

The current staff is completely inept. They called and said car was ready then the next day said it needed more repairs, took another 4 days and cost more than twice what was expected.

The people were very nice and fast service! The only reason I rated 1 is becuse the part I needed only cost 112 at Auto Zone where they bought the part but charged me 199. Called them and asked why and they couldnt tell me. The 199 was just parts not labor. I will not use them again for that reason.

Great customer service. Helpful explaining the problems with affordable pricing. Ill be taking my car there next month for new parts.

Not happy. They didnt resolve the problem. They didnt listen to me and they didnt offer the kind of service you would expect from Meineke. Ill go somewhere else next time.

I love that they had emailed me a coupon for 30% off. The only bad thing is that the guy working with customers did not wear a mask.

Pros: got me in and out in ~3 hours for a 2 axle brake job, charged just above going rate for this work.Cons: tried to sell me $125 brakes (i had to ask specifically how much these pads would be, they tried to not mention cost until the end), also STRONGLY recommended a rotor replacement which I happen to know was not necessary in the slightest.All in all, just another shop trying to overcharge people who dont ask enough questions, but they did the work (seemingly) correctly and in a reasonable amount of time.

Meineke was the faster and most affordable place I have gotten my truck serviced at yet. And the guy who helped me was the most friendliest service agent yet. I suggest that anyone who needs to have their car serviced to go to meineke on 2900 south state street.

Came here for an emissions test. They gave me a list of things to fix, I get so tired of mechanics thinking they can scam customers because they can talk the mechanic techno babble. Took my car to another place and they passed it. Shocker.

The guys were awesome. They gave me a price before the work was started and didnt exceed it. Quality work installing my aftermarket muffler. Thanks

Went here to get front brake pads replaced on my Ford Windstar. I called about an hour before to see if they could fit me in as everyone else was 2 days out, and they could. They were able to get me in within about 40 minutes after arriving, but since I didnt actually set an appt, it was to be expected. The only downside I felt was, it seemed to take too long to do the brake pad repair. They pulled my van in at 1:15pm and finished about 2:50pm. From what I could tell, it appeared they only had 1 or 2 techs working on multiple vehicles at the same time, so theyd go back and forth between them. Not sure why they couldnt just work on it until finished and be done with it, but Im not a mechanic, so I dont understand the methodology behind it. Other than that, their customer service was fantastic. The guy that helped me (George?) was very helpful and patient, and explained everything.

They quoted me price than changed it. They told me they could not weld the catalyst converter on the exhaust while it was on my blazer. I could do it... I would not recommend this shop to anyone....

Have been there for various repairs several times. Excellent friendly service at very reasonable pricing. They go out of their way to do a good job and make you happy.
