I recommend this place to anyone! Which is also a problem. They are very honest, trusting, and knowledgeable in what they do that they are generally very busy. They definitely work hard and I appreciate that they call me on any findings prior to continuing work. As a prior mechanic I can tell that they never try to inflate anything (except a flat tire).

We took our suburu to the dealership and was quoted over $6,000, but then we took it to KN Automotive for a second opinion and ended up paying less than 1/3 the price the dealership wanted! Over the weekend we starting have trouble with the steering on my husbands vehicle. It seemed serious so we wanted to get it in Monday morning to be fixed. We are new to the area and didnt have a trustworthy mechanic, so I spent Monday morning researching shops and calling around. KN agreed to squeeze me (what a relief.) They were friendly, gave me a fair quote and completed the work the same day. Ill definitely be back for any future repairs.

Im not sure why the other reviewer had an issue. I have used them for several years now and have found them to be honest and fair. They give me a quote up front, fix things on time, tell me when they cant fix it. I have never gotten charged when they couldnt fix it, although I did pay them some for their time because they have to make a living too right? Ive always been treated like family and I appreciate them.

The owner Keng is the best! Are you sick and tired like me trying to find that mechanic that can do a good job and an affordable job. A friend referred me to K&N almost 15 years ago, back when their location was off 3300 and redwood. I originally had them work on a 300Z, since then they have worked on all of our cars, including my wives ML350 and my 911.I have highly recommended this shop to many friends and family members, each time I get a follow up stating their experience was exceptional. My sister in law had a Mazda pick up she took to the dealer and they quoted her $1100 for the repair. She called me concerned and asking what to do, I recommended she leave the dealership and take it to Keng for a quote. His quote was significantly less than the dealer at $740. When she went to the shop to pick her vehicle up Keng informed her the repair was easier than originally thought and took less time. He only charged her $610 for the repair, saving her $490, she was amazed that her final bill was less than her quote.Its rare to find such high quality service, honest and reliable for a fair price. K & N Auto has continued to earn my business time and time again...

Ive always had a difficult time with auto mechanic and usually they try put in a bunch of extra stupid work just so they can make a few extra bucks. With K-N auto theyve treated me great, told me what the problem is, got whatever vehicle I bought into them up and running again. Theyre honest workers and will do the best job the can.

I wouldnt have them work on a bicycle. Paid them to replace an engine in my Honda Accord. It had problems from the start, rattles, gauges not working, and it used so much oil that I would pull in to the gas station to fill the oil and check the gas. After repeated attempts to get them to correct the problems and each time they said they had it solved and it wouldnt be, I took it to them for emission and inspection and they failed emission because it burned oil then they said sorry now the warranty is expired.

My entire family takes their Toyotas and Nissans here. Keng is very trustworthy and easy to work with, always saving me $$ compared to what the dealer quotes. Typically, they will show me what is wrong with my car, and give me options on how to fix it, depending on how much $ I want to spend. I completely trust them with my car, and would recommend them to anyone else. Also, their location is only a few blocks away from a Trax station, making it easy to drop your car off and still commute to work while your car is getting fixed. Highly recommend!
