The owner of this shop is a straight shooter. He does what he says and charges the price he quoted even if it takes a little more effort than he anticipated. Additionally, he gets it done when he tells you it will be done. I’ll be returning here when I need shock, suspension or axel work. By the looks of other reviewers, they will also be returning. You will have a hard time trying to find a better shop.

Wow. Walked in this morning with a screwed up cv joint. Three hours later Ive got an axle with rebuilt joints, a new boot, and a new carrier bearing. Totally reasonable pricing too. Fantastic little shop.Update: Ty just did another axle repair for me. I continue to be an extremely happy customer.

I had a bad carrier bearing on the CV axle of a Scion. The Scion dealer said the whole CV axle was bad, joints, carrier bearing and all. I knew it wasnt and instead of paying them the $850 to replace the axle I pulled it, took it in to CV Axle Express. They replaced the bearing and checked-out the CV joints, gave it a clean bill of health and called to tell me it was done before Id even made it home. The total job was under $100. I am very impressed with their service and honesty and have recommended them to others already.

Ive been using C/V axle express for the last 15 years great prices and reliable axles if they go bad you take them back and they all ways take care of the problem. Ive installed new axles from some auto parts stores and they dont last. C/V axle express is the way to go.

Worst customer service ever, Horrible business practices. dishonest, not to be trusted, and RUDE. let me explain...I am a busy college student who doesnt have much time to work on the repairs of my own vehicle. I asked the favor of my dad (a mechanic from out of town) to call a few places to find me a good price on getting my cv axle replaced they told him that the most it would be is $160. The other places around provo were $240+ so this sounded like my best bet. they explained that they were the cheapest because they specialize in cv axles.The day of the repair i called ahead before leaving and they said they were free if i came in before 10:30 and it would be done by the early afternoon.When i got to this hole in the wall place i soon realized why they were the cheapest but i thought hey im not picky just as long as it gets done im cool. when i walked in (dressed from an interview) i guess they took me as a rich boy and thought they could jack up their prices on me. i was told it would be pusing it to get it done before 5:00, and when i asked how much they needed up front they told me well, labor is $95 an hr and this is a 2.5 hr job. plus parts so well let you know how much when youre done. i then explained that my dad had called in and said it would only be $160 at the most. they then looked at each other surprised and said well $160 for the part. After much conversation, they told me it would be nearly $400 after taxes and that it was a special type of cv axle so nobody else carried it so i had no choice but to get it done with them.I ended up walking out on them, getting the cv axle from orielly auto parts for $59 and some transmition fluid so everything didnt even cost $100 and I ended up putting it on myself the next weekend. Nothing special to it.dont waste your time or gas going to these guys. they promised the lowest prices over the phone but honor them when I arrived.Good luck getting some business with those morals guys. 0 out of 5 stars if you ask me.
