We were in a pinch with our converted sprinter van and Rick & Co. at Schmidt saved the day. We needed the windshield frame rust removed to replace the windshield. They did both for a fair price. They even squeezed us in despite a tight schedule, and delivered the work on time. They were really easy to communicate with and friendly. The work was high-quality too.Well definitely be returning here for future body work. They were outstanding and Id highly recommend them!

Because Im a sceptic I didnt expect the quality of repair that I received at Schmidts. I needed a couple of deep scrapes refinished and I expected to be able to see where the repair was made and I just cant. It is undetectable! Excellent work at a reasonable price!

We have used these guys for a few years now and the paint quality and talent of the guys has been great. However I would never recommend anyone using them if you want good communication and service. Recently I reach out to Tracy to get quotes to paint 5 of our business trucks, anticipating that it would take some time. I gave them 3 months lead time asking for quotes and designs and they did not deliver. They notoriously say let me look into that and get back to you and I NEVER get a call back. It always has to be me reaching out to them again after many days or weeks of waiting. I understand being busy and having a lot going on as I am a business owner myself, but I always strive to have good communication, set good expectations, and under promise and over deliver. But Schmidt has done none of that for me.

We’ve used them a few times over the last 5 years and I must say their quality is good. If you don’t mind hounding them and having them miss schedule after schedule. Sad they cannot seem to get it together, but we’ll NEVER use them againI believe in setting a schedule and sticking to it if at all possible. Not here. They’ll put you off and not respond to their own promises.Sad day

I drive all the way from Ogden anytime I need body work done as Schmidt body and paint is the best from Bountiful to Provo and beyond. They took my vehicle in a car accident and did the paint, body work, and detailed the vehicle. They are always up front on pricing and did the work faster than I have ever seen. Gene was my technician and did amazing body work.

Schmidt Body & Paint did right by us! I was happy to be able to go to a local body shop to get some repairs done after my car was rear-ended, and I was not disappointed by these folks. Great work, fast turnaround, and clear communication. Ill definitely go back if I ever need more work done on my car!

I used these guys to get a back bumper redone on my 4runner. They were better than I could of imagined. Not only did they get everything done in a timely fashion but they did it at a reasonable price. They didn’t even try and up the quote which always happens. The paint work they did was great too. They even went above and beyond a fixed a couple small things on my truck which was a pleasant surprise. Highly suggest these guys, I won’t be going anywhere but Schmidt for any body work in the future, and I told my boss at work to start using them for our fleet of truck. Would give 10 stars if I could.

I was very pleased to work with everyone at Schmidts but a big thank you to Tracy and his team they are all great to work with. Schmidts went above and beyond to take care of the body work my car needed. I would and will recommend them to others. As well as use them in the future if and when needed. Work with local and small businesses.

Went in to have a windshield remounted and some rust spots below the windshield sealed while the glass was out. Despite specially discussing the intent to seal the rust, and reviewing the written estimate to ensure it included labor for said repair, the rust spots were left untouched! The estimator apologized saying that he misunderstood my request, fair enough. Mistakes happen.However the quality of the windshield replacement was sloppy, and it was ~$100 more than if I had just taken it to a glass shop which I would have done if I wasnt interested in having the rust fixed. As shown in the photos, the weatherstripping around the glass was super poorly done, gaps in the corners will allow moisture to collect in gutter over time.Now Im on the hook for future work without any discount offered.Try Rob Schmidtt or Budget Autobody. Had a much better first impression at both those shops, they just werent able to get me in while I was passing through town.

Still have what looks like exhaust pipes sticking out of my exhaust tips on my 2015 Ford Fusion. Street they repaired it from someone rear ending my car at a light. Not supposed to be that way. The Ford dealer in Salt Lake says its supposed to be that way. They lied. I bought the cat brand new. I know how it is supposed to be. They cheated me.Buyer beware.

This company has been around a long time. Because of things that have been shared with me in the past I had the opinion that they were probably a very high-priced establishment for body and paint services. I WAS SURPRISED it was JUST OPPOSITE! Their prices are very reasonable. The quality of their work is exceptional, they are willing to work with customers in any way that is practical, and the employees are the best Ive ever met in this type of business. Awesome staff. They do great body work for vehicles. They have an excellent design team to understand graphics for decals and signs. The install guys are great at vehicle decals or sign builds. If you can think of it, they can make it happen.

I got a quote and I feel its a fair price. the guy that I talked to was awesome to deal with as well. Im not sure if Ill have them do the work or not due to funds but if I can swing it Ill for sure have them do the work for me.

Brought a car over to them to look at for me as a pre puchase inspection type thing of a salvage title car. WOW do they know their stuff!! Within 30 seconds they told me what had happend, what was repaired, how well it was repaired and what was not repaired and still needed to be repaired. It was incredible! They then took me inside and gave me a print-out of what it would cost them to buy the part and put it in. I then took that info to the car dealership and they dropped the price a bit more for me...not near the cost of the repair, but every little bit helps!I really appreciated them taking their time to look at the car for me!! I would highly recommend them, especially if you are looking to buy a car and need peace of mind that it is structurally ok...or not.Thanks again Schmidt Body and Paint!!!

Karl seemed very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He inspected my vehicle thoroughly and promised hed send an estimate via email. I even initiated a reminder contact with him. He did absolutely nothing! Poor service. No follow through. YMMV so, good luck ..... but Id look elsewhere to begin with.P.S. He also feels compelled to share his unsolicited political opinions. Totally inappropriate.

I wouldnt trust anyone else with my vehicles. The best in Utah for automotive work or signage. Be sure to go to this store as they share a building with another Schmidt company with questionable ethics. Ask for Tracy and tell him I sent you!

I havent been here for work, but I will next time. They gave me a quote on a hood repair that I thought was too much. I ended up spending more on a discount shop, for a really bad job. Dont make my mistake, get it done right. Its worth it.

I had a fender bender and needed my car fixed fast and good pricing since I wasnt using auto insurance. I was disappointed with the quotes I had and they were out a week before they could even start. I was referred to Tracy Schmidt and was told they could start right on it. The pricing came back within my budget and the car is repaired and looks excellent!
