The little chain store that triesSmack dab in the middle of SBY is this AcmeEnsconced by strip malls and drug stores it seems unlikely to have anything exciting to offer but the produce is decent compared to other stores of its ilk and especially if you can’t make the farmers market nearby that week you’ll at least be able to feed yourselfThe selection runs the gamut but they have a wide variety and even some specialties like fancier cheeses like “Cathedral City”Which is mass market, traveled all the way from the UK so its carbon footprint raises my hackles a little bit but when in Rome and craving cheese this at least tasted greatOne could do a lot worse or would have to travel far but since I’m carless and bicycle bound I have to find the gems where they lieI spend a lot of time in strange cities and Salisbury is delightful however these chain stores are all looking the same which is at once convenient and also a bit sadAt least I can feed myself and hope for a better world as I think about ways of making my shopping experience a little different

This is the place to go for seafood.. great specials on snow crabs & shrimp & the guy in the bakery makes the most beautiful unicorn cakes...cakes & cupcaks period!! & Caught the fresh perch..omg ❤️

My issue here is cleanliness. It started when I got my cart from outside. Trash everywhere and in the cart. Then inside the store it was the floors. Just dirty.... needs swept and mopped!!!! The shelves were stocked full! If I had the desire to SHOP Im sure I would have found everything I would want. But I got two things and left.

I always love going to this store. They did just remodel the produce department. Prices are higher then some other stores but they can have some great deals.

I got a bad bag of frozen potatoes and John not only went above and beyond to make it right, I found out he’d been off the clock for over an hour when he helped me. He had a smile the whole time. All that service for just a mismarked bag of $2.50 Potaoes O’Brien. Highly recommend acme- the people are great

Acme carries the Lancaster brand meats which is of high quality & good value and sale prices on today. Even their customers are of higher caliber than of the major box stores!!! They have clean restrooms, that has soap to wash your hands properly. The people that I encountered at this store seem very friendly, nice and kind. I would most certainly visit & shop this Acme Market in the future!

I love this store. The staff goes above and beyond (Katie over in the lottery area came to floral to help me and did an amazing job). They have a well stocked store. Organic foods, specialty foods and more. Super clean and did I mention the staff is great? This is worth the trip to that end of town.

Store has loads of free parking. Beautiful produce. Every items I wanted Acme had. Wish the store was closer to where I live

Very nice. Ive been to acme in Salisbury twice. Each time it was a great experience. The staff in all departments that served me were very helpful and polite. Stocked shelves and all. Even staff on the floor were just great. Salisbury Acme is a great example of how hospitality should be shown to its customers at its finest. Even when I went to put my groceries in my car. from curbside. The attendant jumped right in, and helped me with my groceries without me saying a word. Great job Acme! I will return. An I live in laurel Delaware.

Worst service at acme ever. I asked the lady in the deli for imported ham and she masks me whats it look like?. Instead of asking the deli manager she asks me what else do I want. I didnt get anything from deli. When I checked out, the register wouldnt accept my cash so I walked out and left the whole mess right where it sat in checkout. Hope its better next time I go.

This is a terrible grocery store. Not only are the prices higher than their competitors, but they have gradually phased out brands of products we relied on. Many of these products were natural or organic, but also some things such as chips. Or, more annoyingly, they replaced quality products/brands with the inferior O Organics brand. I will continue to shop at this store however, as they do carry some of the products we need (otherwise, it would be one star).

Prices a little higher than I can afford for meats,soda,paper goods and fresh produce, but I will definitely shop there for canned goods, etc.( well stocked, good variety) and things that are unavailable in other stores.

Felt I was over charged for food when rung up as Im in eligible for State Food benefits and have to pay cash for my items. But even then the price was double the amount it would have cost if I had EBT benefits.

Four stars only because if you dont find the deals it can be a little pricy, having said that. As far as quality chain markets they are in my opinion the best quality, but Food 🦁 in my personal opinion is the best of both worlds. I just picked up a fresh T-bone for 7 bucks originally 10! Careful of the managers specials at food lion...😊

Love this Acme, lots of lactose free products, dairy department manager is helpful along with staff in general, clean parking lot and store, and the bakery department always smells divine.

Great store but the deli employees talk ALOT and socialize ALOT. I feel they can be more consistent and at the same time cordial. Ive been there with at least 5-6 people in line and the ladies just talking and talking while we wait up to 20 minutes. One time I actually called the store and spoke with a manager while waiting in line. She talked to me on the phone and still made it back to the deli to see what was going on. The manager told them to try to clear out the customers as fast as they could.

Its clean and always have what Im looking for. I have had some trouble with ordering deli trays. But I believe that has more to do with the online/backend of the biz then this store itself.

ACME has been my store of choice until recently when they reduced the variety of so many products. Specifically, Jiff Extra crunchy peanut butter, Celestial Seasonings herbal teas and unsweetened soy milk. All things they have carried in the past but have slowly disappeared. Ive complained several times now, but to no avail. As a result we now order our teas online, and will be doing the same with peanut butter. I dont like to use online services for these products, because it takes money out of the local economy, but feel I have no other options.

Store is well stocked & well organized with a good variety of products & brands.

I had the most wonderful experience here. The Bakery manager ( Monica or Vermonica I think) knew exactly how many rainbow sprinkles to put on my funfetti cake. I ❤her so much

Love still shopping at the store but this guy does not make a good part of your team. Think ill have all my prescriptions transferred to CVS.
