I had had contacted Latham pool company to get a list of pool contractors that installed fiberglass pools. Pool Tech in Salisbury Maryland was recommended. I wanted to have a 10x16 fiberglass pool I gave the information to the person that answered the phone and they were very quick to tell me that it would be 60(Thousand Dollars) just to start for the 10x16 pool. Electric and decking would all be extra cost, I had to laugh when they said 60 thousand and then I called Latham pool manufacturer and told them the price and they laughed also. I think they should stick with selling pool supplies and pool maintenance and not in the business of installing pools. I’m still laughing and the potato truck has already past my house.

My husband and I bought a house with a pool that was installed and designed by Pooltech. We love it and Bridget was very friendly and helpful when we needed help after we first moved in. There tech came out and did a walk through with me, he was very knowledgeable and polite.I was very disappointed to find they aren’t taking on any new clients when I recently called to schedule service for our pool. We really wanted them for our summer pool maintenance and also thought we’d use them to install a spa. Total bummer, I guess that’s what makes them so good. They don’t stretch themselves too thin.

I have used this business for 20 years... not always the best prices, but always there. When I walk in I feel like they dont remember my 20 year dedication and loyalty. Maybe this will change!

They DO NOT back their work. I bought a brand new pool filter last year and the dial is leaking. They refuse to come and look at it free of charge even though it is still under warranty. I would NEVER purchase another expensive pool part from this company. I would rate 0 stars but, this app makes you give them 1!!

They are very knowledgeable in their field. They use a computer analysis for the pool water so they know exactly what is going on with the water. There is never any high pressure sales tactics, just good service.

We bought a new pool and needed help getting the chemicals straight. The worker was very rude and kept implying I wasted money on a pool not bought from them. She was very condescending until i finally blew up. Wish I never spent 1 dime there! When checking out she suddenly became very friendly with my husband instead of speaking to me!!!! Guess who makes the purchases? Not my husband I can tell you that. I do not recommend this place to anyone!!!

Will never do business with them again. They sold me a poorly designed Sundance spa with no external drain!! The instruction manual described an incorrect procedure for removing a door to access a drain hose, when in reality one must remove the entire spa side, 17 screws in all, and about an hours time off/on. And do this 4x per year? Over the life of the spa? Really?? I never would have purchased had I known. Pool Techs response: 1) I should have read the owners manual prior to purchase to understand the draining process (even though it was wrong), and 2) offered to sell me a $65 sump pump as a work-around. I also required a subsequent service call, guy was here 40 minutes and gouged me $105. Pool Techs response: thats their standard rate, so too bad for me, the customer. Despite this not having been explained in advance.

PLEASE, DONT USE THIS PLACE ! We have been trying since MARCH to open our pool . Paid them $800 to have them open, they were here for 25 min. did everything they told us to do The water is still not right. Then paid another $300 for chemicals. did what they told us to do, AND STILL CANT USE THE POOL !!!!! AGAIN, DONT USE THIS PLACE !!!!!!!!!!!
