Came into this store on our vacation and was simply ahhhhhmazed! This store is a gem! We met the owner Bob and he could not be any nicer!!...He gave my son quarters to ride the horse that welcomes you at the entrance of the shop, and had a fantastic conversation with him. The shop has been in business for over 35 years! and I sure can see why. After being a retail buyer for 20 years I know an owner who puts their heart into their store and their customers when I see one. There is an amazing selection of gifts, and the minute you walk in you can feel the love with how everything is displayed. There are even complimentary Hersheys kisses at the counter. We left with so many goodies and a warm memory of a beautiful owner. As we left my son says I wish there was a store like this in San Diego!...And so do I. North Carolina has a rare gem! Next time we are in town, first stop Critters!!

I LOVE Critters! They always have what Im looking for in the matter of cards. And always cards you dont find in other stores. Also a great place to find a gag gift or a gift for the hard to get person.

Our favorite store in Salisbury. Fun and creative novelty gifts. And the owner has a coin operated horse Champion out front, that we come and visit. Thank you for creating such a fun store.

This store is AMAZING. Although it seems like a small store from the outside, I go in and have to stay for over an hour and still have to drag myself and my son out. Bob, the owner is personality ++. He always has a smile and has excellent taste. They are not overpriced like many of the specialty shops I go in today. This is an excellent store for buying gifts or for treating yourself nad thy always have good sales as well.

Always the right place for gifts and cards. Window shop often to be prepared for that party or guest on short notice. Best owners and sales staff, familiar with the stock. They will even run to the back for something for you.
