I wasnt planning on making any decisions today. However, the atmosphere was great and Stephen made it very easy to want to spend money there. He is very personable and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him if you ever come here.You guys have a new life time customer due to his amazing customer service . Give him a raise or a management position. Outten brothers are the best I been with them for 35 years and service has always been an Aplus because they can back up their furniture and lord knows it lasted for yrs also the price is right ✅and they make it possible to franchises ur purchase u wont walk out of outten brothers disappointed.

Great Selection of furniture after that it all goes down hill. The wall unit I wanted was not in stock, so I asked if I could purchase the damaged floor model at a discount? Short answer was no. I asked if there was going to be a Veterans Day sale and he said “yes, but the prices will increase by then”. Ended up purchasing another unit that would likely take eight weeks to receive. Mike told me that delivery and installation are free, and “that all of their products that are delivered are installed”. Today was delivery day. Someone began assembling the unit but was told to stop cause this was a “do not assemble”. The opened hardware bag was then taped to the outside of another box. I also noticed the sales receipt was changed on the delivery receipt to “do not assemble”. I called Mike to resolve the situation and he said first his manager told him that they do not assemble this unit. When I asked to speak to the manager. The manager was on vacation and that it was the owner that told him this and that they would pick up the unit and refund my money, but they were not assembling it. I said I would assemble but there is one cam bolt missing. Mike then said I would have to wait until the warehouse manager could check for it. I then asked to speak to the owner and was told he did not want to speak to me. Very poor sales and management. Also beware Veterans if you choose to shop there for increases in the price, not very Veteran friendly.UPDATE: After nearly one month since delivery and this post. Not one person, from the Owner to the Salesman has reached out to me about the missing hardware. No member of the management team or the owner himself has called to personally address the issue. Let this be a indicator of the service you can expect after the sale has been completed.

WOULD DEFINITELY LIKE TO DO LESS BUT I LIKE MY FURNITURE. THIS PLACE HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE FIRST I WAITED MORE THAN 6 MONTHS FOR ONE PIECE OF FURNITURE. NO ONE WOULD CALL TO GIVE UPDATES. CALL FOR SALESPERSON AND THEY ALWAYS SAID HE WAS WITH A CUSTOMER AND NO ONE COULD GIVE AN UPDATE ON WHEN THE LAST PIECE OF FURNITURE WOULD ARRIVE. NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THE OTHER DOES. FINALLY RECEIVED THE LAST PIECE OF FURNITURE(6+MTHS LATER), THEY SENT THE ENTIRE AMOUNT THAT WAS PRETTY MUCH ALL PAID FOR OVER TO A FINANCE COMPANY FOR THE ENTIRE AMOUNT OF MY WHOLE LIVING ROOM FURNITURE. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. I RECOMMEND CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING FOR EVERYONE THERE.

I was a customer of Outten Brothers in Dover. I was heartbroken when they left the area. I had more than one account for furniture with them. The furniture was great. The customer service was awesome. I actually plan to travel a distance to see if they have a new bedroom set I like. I had the insurance that was offered and was glad I did. For regular folks, they are the longest-running furniture business in the Delmarva area. They are the best quality furniture with highest taste. No one can beat that.

Nice store with friendly staff. I recently relocated to Salisbury and was very impressed with how patient Keith was with me (many changes). Also he ensured I would not be sleeping on the floor so he arranged to have my delivery the next day which was appreciated. If you need furniture this is a good place to shop!!!

Nice and good furniture

So i bought sleigh beds for my daughters. One headboard was scared up and other one was cracked. I didnt receive a frame w my full size bed. So i had to go to Salisbury and pick the frame up myself. This is worst experience i ever had in my life purchasing new furniture. Customer service dont take in the satisfaction of customers happiness. I was in the process of purchasing other things major turn off.

My wife ordered a bureau that was delivered scratched. Unfortunately, it wasn’t picked up by us until the evening of the delivery after we turned on the bedroom light and we took a straight on view of the piece. We promptly notified the folks at Outten, and they agreed “hassle free” to replace the piece. We live in a very remote part of the eastern shore... and we often get hassled about home delivery. Outten came out TWICE!! And never gave our location a second thought...At a time when the economy seems to be creating retailers and service people who don’t feel the need to follow through “after the sale “Outten bros. Appears to be one of the few who plans to maintain customer relationships no matter how good the NOW is..Because of this outten bros has made a first time buyer.... a definite future buyer!!

Always helpful, no pressure...the building is a bit dated, but they have been around forever. Free delivery for military ID card holders.

Place and the employee environment is awesome. If you want top of the line with great financing, this is the place. Also a wide selection of cash and carry.

I do I.T. support for a lot of companies that I dont leave reviews for.I am in and out of Outten Brothers several times a month and recently Ive been finding it more and more difficult to leave. The selection lately is such that I have trouble walking through the showroom without seeing something that I love. The only problem is that I already purchased an incredible living room set from them two years ago.When I am actively shopping for furniture and not just passing through, I know I can trust one of their salespeople to help me find exactly what I need. There is one that stands above the rest and if you get them, youll know who Im talking about.If youre in the market for furniture and you havent been to Outten Brothers recently, you owe it to yourself to pay them a visit.

Furniture is junk. I bought a recliner and didnt realize til later that the foot rest is nothing more than a piece of fabric over the board. The foot rest keeps coming loose. They came out and placed another screw in it but it crooked. More for me

Delivery and setup came 6 hours late on Friday evening and the guys were in a rush to get off work (seemed that way) they rushed the bedroom in the house and scratched the walls and chipped of small pieces from the wall. totally careless. very unhappy.. It was brand new house and fked up the walls .
