Its a cute little shop in Downtown Salisbury, with a variety of cupcakes on display. They make cakes and other artful desserts. $10 minimum for debit card purchases, a bit expensive, but tasty. I enjoyed the 4 cupcakes I bought.

My husband and I wanted a small one tier cake to cut for ourselves at our wedding. We wanted an almond cake, and Cake Art suggested we add a filling. I was hesitant, but I am so glad we listened to her advice. The cake was amazing, my husband still talks about it to this day. We cant wait for our one year anniversary to be able to enjoy more of the delicious cake!

Well the young lady that I interacted or Lack there of wasnt friendly or welcoming at all I inquired about one specific item and my feedback from this young lady was we only make those when we feel Like. I got the feeling she didnt want service me being Im African American so that was my first and Last time going to this shop.

On the left is what I asked for.......on the the right is what I got 😒😒. I put in my order Aug 13 for event for Aug 29th. TWO WEEKS A HEAD OF TIME!!! Even though they took some money off my bill. My cake shouldnt looked rushed with soooooo many mistakes. And got the nerve to say you can come back in 15 mins. What!!! 15 mins I dont live in salisbury and i have other things to do at home. If yall couldnt take my order I wouldve got somebody else to do it. Not recommended this place to nobody. Im very disappointed

Cake Art is the best! All of their flavors tasted great which made it hard to choose. They helped me design this beautiful cupcake/cake creation that fed almost 200 people. I had lots of people comment that these were the best cupcakes they ever had.

The cake I ordered looks pretty much identical to the picture I sent. I’d post a picture but can’t figure out how to do that. It tasted great and the cake was moist. I used them 3 years ago and got the same quality. Thank you all so much!!

Cake Art made a fun and delicious cake for my dogs birthday party! I gave them some colors and ideas, and what they designed was just perfect. The process of ordering and picking up was very simple. They are a little gem in downtown Salisbury. I will definitely order from them again! Thank you Cake Art!

Susan at Cake Art did such an amazing job on our wedding cake! Our wedding was on 04/20/2019 and our colors were rose gold and gray. With it being Easter weekend, that was a very busy time of year for bakeries. Cake Art was one of the few bakeries available for our wedding day and thankfully so! We were really unsure of what flavors or design we wanted and Susan was very patient with us. She put together a beautiful 4 layer cake (each layer a different flavor and design) and we could not have asked for anything more! We HIGHLY recommend Cake Art and will definitely be returning for future events!!!!

If youve never had a cake from Cake Art you are truly missing out. I ordered a 3 tier cake for my mothers 80th Birthday party and this cake was Phenomenal inside and out. Strawberry champagne on top, pineapple in the middle and Oreo cookie on the bottom. This was the most moist, delicious cake Ive ever tasted. Susan the owner was very patient and kind and she helped me make the best decision for my affair. This was a great experience and I am so thankful.Tracey Hinton

I ordered a smash cake for our daughters first birthday pictures. We arrived to pick up the cake and we were 10 minutes early. My husband ran in because the sign on the door was turned to “open”. The person that wrapped the cake up was very rude to my husband and was upset that we arrived 10 minutes early. She said that the cake didn’t have enough time to “set up” and would slide. As we drove to our picture appt I held the cake carefully as per instructions. We didn’t open the box until it was time to take the picture with the cake. I opened the box to find that it was not the cake that I had ordered. We used the cake for the picture because it was all we had. The cake was cute but it wasn’t what I had ordered or paid for. When we were finished I emailed Cake Art and the response I received was “ oh I’m so sorry, would you like to bring it back?”

Absolutely best cake I’ve ever had and the staff is always so pleasant! I’ve used Cake Art for every event of mine for the last 6 years from my wedding cake to the cupcakes at my kids birthday party and I would never go anywhere else. Love my Cake Art family!! ❤️❤️

Cake Art did our wedding cake, we wanted something fun and not too beachy but more just our wedding colors as the theme. They did above and beyond our expectations! It came out beautiful and tasted amazing (and fresh). They sat with us and diagramed the look of the cake and flavors. It came out perfect! We froze the top tier, but will still be back next year for an anniversary cake. We live 4 hours away and always stop by for cupcakes whenever we go that direction.

Their products are high quality and priced accordingly. However if youre looking for service with a smile forget it. As I walked in for a dozen cupcakes ($35.00), the owner watched as the robotic assistant took my money but couldnt be bothered to say hello, good morning, or thank you for that matter. Did I mention I was the only customer in the building? I dont mind paying for quality, but attitude does matter..I wont be back.

The worst . Today, August 30th, ran into a customer with the same problem . Owner augumentive and baligerante. If youre not white dont go to cake art, you will be disappointed 😒, waist of time and money .

Weve tried this cupcake shop numerous times over the last year and a half, each time hoping it would be good. Sadly, it...just never gets past okay. Cupcakes are always some level of too dry, sometimes with decent flavor but not every time, and they have unfortunate consistency issues. The last time we stopped in, a couple weeks ago, the buttercream frosting on the cupcakes we got tasted and felt like it was almost entirely butter. It was terribly unpleasant and just another in a string of disappointments.Im a bit of a cupcake hound and am always up for trying a shop wherever I travel, so Im very familiar with the commonalities and pitfalls of the business. I was excited by the idea of finally finding a good cupcake shop close to home. Unfortunately, this one just falls short, again and again, and I dont think I can justify industry-standard prices for non-industry-standard quality.
