The worst experience with any retailer in any industry. The salesman was not helpful or informative about the vehicle. Spent no time explaining the features of the car. Apparently has no clue as far as the inventory on the lot.Kept trying to sell me a vehicle of which I had no interest.The first day after the purchase the key fob did not function. Could not even start the car half the time. I called the salesman thinking that since I just spent thousands of dollars at your dealership he would be willing to help. Not so much. Seemed quite annoyed and said there is nothing he can do and told me to call the service department.So I actually went there thinking someone would help me. Not so much.I was told there would a charge to put a battery that works in the key fob.Remember that I bought the car the day before. I told the person with whom I was speaking that charge was unacceptable and asked to speak to her supervisor. She said she was the supervisor and told me she was not willing to do anything unless I pay the key fob battery replacement fee. I did get upset.She told me to leave and never come back or she would call the police.She then proceeded to call my place of employment and attempted to get me fired.All I can say about your customer service is....Wow!

Stopped in to trade in my Santa Fe for a new one a few weeks ago. My sales man Tim took great care of me and made the process as smooth are possible. Stanley and Kim assisted in their perspective roles to complete the process. The dealership was clean and well stocked (I had multiple vehicles to choose from that fit my needs). This is the 4th Huyundai I have purchased, all from different dealerships. I have had a great experience each time. I recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy in the Salisbury area.

Dropped by regarding a light on driving dash. After much discussion and analysis, Zack thought best to schedule a thorough analysis by the service area to resolve. They are doing this before a long drive planned in fall. Provided a loaner for my appointment.

Service has always been great. Cost not the greatest. Few recent issues that are having me give the middle of road review. One after an oil change an tire rotation I had a tire blow. When I got my tires replaced I was informed my tires where over inflated an couldve caused the blow out since my tires where starting to show signs of wear. Second issue I had was I had front shock replaced under warranty cause it was leaking. Same shock is doing it again. I purchased the extended warranty an this time its not covered cause the mileage of truck its at recommended shock change. Despite being changed once. Cost of the shocks $575 just for front. Mind you I had on fail twice. I just ordered a better quality shock, Bilstein all four for $320 and my mechanic who works on my wives car is going to install them for $50 when I have an oil change done with him. Thirdly I have had an on going issue with my driver side washer sprayer not working properly. They tried a few times to I guess flush line with no success if anything made it worse over time. So they ordered a replacement set of sprayers. Never called me to tell me they where in. I followed up three later and they had arrived the day after my last oil change there. Anyways I went in to have them replace them assuming it was covered under warranty. And yet again it was not covered. Its an external part. The $85 for the job isnt the issue the lack of customer support given to me by this dealership an Nissan at this point. Im definitely walking away from the brand once done with this truck. And Im not going to let my wife look at a Pathfinder now as well... That maybe petty but thats how I feel. No longer will I return for service for here.

Came back with little down and a newer Vehicle no issues! No wonder the dealerships across the bridge always ask if they still sitting on cars over here.

Swore I would never visit this place again, but stopped in due to some road noise with tires. I had an arrogant worker comment on the face mask I was wearing, he then advised of a $140 diagnosis fee (my mother has purchased 2 cars there and I have purchased 1 from there, always used their service) and NEVER been charged such an exorbitant fee. On top of that, he advised of a 3 hour wait. I grabbed my keys, thanked him and seeked services elsewhere. Lots of people like this place, Im not sure why, but I have nothing positive, have experienced nothing positive the last few times I went here. My last visit prior to this was 3 years ago, now I know why.

This had to be about the best car buying experience we have ever been through. Huge kudos to Faith (service dept) for suggesting Ed & I contact car salesman, Taylor Bounds. Taylor went above and beyond going over details and getting more money for our trade ins. If it couldnt get any better we finished with Pax Howard in finance. He handled the 2 car purchase with great ease, as if he had been doing the job for years. Thanks again to everyone at Pohanka involved in our 2021 CR-V (times 2) purchases, it was a pleasure to work with you. We are so happy to be back in a Honda.

They started as very courteous. Apologetic due to the part for our vehicle on backorder. Once the part arrive that is when things went badly. The fuel pump was not put in correctly which caused fuel to leak onto the fuel pump housing where the electrical connector sits. So the connector was sitting in fuel which could have resulted in a fire/explosion when the vehicle was operating. My son operates the vehicle and he takes it to school. I am at a loss for words on how poorly we were treated we this dealership trying to make things right. which they never did. They offered a free tank of gas. Ironic.7/2/20 So the dealership replied to my review to email them and i sent them my letter to MBUSA. I also disputed the charges with my bank. This was their reply:I made some calls and found that this matter was investigated thru your credit card company as well as Mercedes- Benz and has been officially closed. Have a great day! - i actually laughed out loud with the lack of courtesy!Clearly i am still upset that they returned a vehicle to my son that could have caught fire or exploded due to their workmanship. The funny part is Carlos said they had their best tech on the vehicle. id hate to see what their worst tech would do.

Horrible experience! I worked with a man named Ryan, who was rude, unprofessional and lacked any type of interpersonal skills! I was supposed to purchase the vehicle I wanted on 4 different occasions, but unfortunately Ryan nor the financial department contacted me back! Being as livid as I was I reached out to the sales manager which was a guy named William, and he wasn’t much better. He didn’t apologize for any of the inconveniences on their part, running my credit multiple times without my authorization, nor for the behavior of the salesman Id been dealing with. He instead responded with “well Ryan is new” and just focused on getting me to purchase the vehicle right then and there and choose not to address any of the previous issues! As you can imagine I went elsewhere, which was a shame because I really wanted the vehicle, but there was no way I was giving them a dime after the way I was treated! Please don’t ignore the the poor reviews!

I had an issue with my 2012 Odyssey, this was May 2020 and I was traveling with my family from NJ so I called nearby Honda @0930. Pohanka Honda of Salisbury scheduled an appointment for diagnosis @1130. I arrived @1120 and SA told me no record of my 1130 appt so I waited until 1pm before vehicle moved into bay from parking lot. SA told me she wanted the best to look over which is why it took so long. Approx 1345, SA with best mechanic standing by, explained the issues (codes P0300 and P0301) are severe and required replacement of rings and other major work at cost of $2500 to guarantee results or $800 (replace all plugs and coils etc) but that had no guarantee of resolving the issue. I told them I needed a few minutes to call my wife to discuss. I then researched these codes online and it stated $2500 repair but also mentioned it could be a bad coil. I asked SA/mechanic if issue could be with a bad coil (assumed that was part of the diagnosis that Im paying for). I was told no its not the coil and its known issue with Odyssey. I told the SA/mechanic to put the vehicle back together because I wasnt ready to spend that kind of money. He put the vehicle back together in less than 10 mins (awfully fast for that level of diagnosis). Once I returned to NJ, I had a honda certified mechanic address the issue, he moved the coil to another cylinder and noticed the error code moved with the bad coil. He replaced the bad coil and installed a new plug (another sign it was coil issue becauseplug was pretty black compsred to the others) and now 6 months later, no issue. The repair took less time than the Pohanka Honda diagnosis. What a disappointment and waste of money for diagnosis by the best mechanic @ Pohanka Honda.

I urge you to look and not ignore the low rating reviews on this place and if possible avoid working with this place. Specially with JR and the general manager. They are grimy people with ill and malicious intentions.My brother whos a healthcare frontline worker during this pandemic and has good credit had a car emergency and went here because he needs to be at work . It was his first big purchase buy as the salesman called it and got a terrible deal because they told him he has what they called a fake number credit score. They sold him a 12yr old car with little to no service done to it, 100k+ miles and possibly the highest apr % rate Ive ever seen or experienced even as a first time buyer with low/no credit.My brother is young and on his own and instead of getting help he got taken advantage of by a what I thought was a reputable business place.Please dont listen to the lies these people are selling.

Horrible experience! I had my rear brakes worked on, at their suggestion. We left for vacation and while on the Cross Bronx Expressway my driver side rear brake essentially fell apart. I was pulling a camper, had 3 children in the back and I lost brakes! We were stranded on the Expressway for several hours until help finally arrived. We came to find out latee that Pohanka didnt secure the caliper correctly so it came off and ripped my brake line apart! No brake fluid, no brakes! Luckily we werent killed and didnt kill anyone else!

After working all day. I was tired,a little dirty and probably smelled the same way. I had money to burn and was ready for a new car. I walked in and this place was shiny..lit up like Las Vegas. I new I was in the right place. Unfortunately the salesperson did not think the same way.I was treated like a second class citizen. There was zero effort in making a sale . I was walked out in less than twenty minutes without even being shown a single vehicle. But they did give me a bottle of water for my time. I did get the brand spanking new car the following day...just not from this establishment.

Phylicia did a great job following up and setting up cars I was interested in buying. The salesperson, John, showed me some models I hadnt considered. A few car sales person tactics were tried to push me to decide, but not too obnoxious. A few times I was concerned about how carefully they were following guidelines for keeping customers and themselves safe. Pulling down facemask to talk, rubbing nose with gloved hand, pulling mask back up and reaching into car with that hand and a few other subconscious actions were disconcerting. Sticky substance on steering wheel and dust that indicated the car had not been thoroughly cleaned. Overall a good experience. Several cars I would consider buying if the price is right.

Wow they really don’t care about your car once you buy it from them. No support for the new Nissan Leaf charging as they sell as a feature of buying from them but they always have the charging spots blocked by workers cars. Support shop open on Sunday is actually a Hyundai employee. Great business guys, not going to buy any other cars from you!

Just recently paid off my 2016 Honda Pilot. Woo! David Carpenter was a huge help on assisting with the purchase.I had a non licensed driver t-bone my Ridgeline ( that I also purchased from this location, and with David Carpenter’s help) I was in desperate need of a vehicle but could not make it out.So David sent photos, and videos explaining the features as if I was there with him,and he going over the vehicle and what it had to offer.He called me numerous of times to make sure it was exactly what I wanted . Purchasing the vehicle only took minutes and went so smoothly.It was even delivered to my door without me stepping foot into the dealership.I have bought three vehicles through this location with David Carpenter and always excellent Honda’s and they last a lifetime!Always a pleasure to come in, call or speak about the next new vehicle. Slowest service ever! I was there almost 6 hours. After 5 hours, they said my car was ready. I saw on the service ticket recall hadnt been done. That was the whole purpose of going. They had to pull it back in the bay. Interior light that they said, they fixed. NOT! It was a big waste of time for me. I could of gotten alignment and oil change done somewhere else faster.

The best car buying experience. The entire staff treated us to 5 star treatment and cared about our individuals needs and exceeded our expectations in the finance department. We will never shop at another dealership, Megan and Dan were so helpful with their expertise and George was honest, knowledgeable and patient with us to meet our needs in the right car. Mariah was so thoughtful while finalizing for our daughter and went well beyond with George to make our experience one our daughter will never forget. Very nice people! Went in for an oil change, said it could be an hour but we were out in 40 minutes. Bill was exactly what we were told on the phone, no surprises. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is they didnt apply our coupon we gave when we first strived and we didnt catch it before leaving. So paid full price. But service and staff were great! Good waiting room with hot chocolate for the kids.
