This was our first visit to this store and I can say we will definitely go back when we are back down here on vacation! They have everything and we found something for everyone in one store. I love my new bag and wallet I had gotten, my kids love their toys/ stuffed animals, my mom found some really cute holiday decor for her home. Very nice, friendly staff that works there also. Great store!

Large variety of items..very quaint rustic place

I ordered a pair of valances online two days ago, and was prepared to wait a while for their arrival. I was very pleasantly surprised when they arrived today!They are beautifully made and in every way just perfect!Thank you for great items, and such speedy service!I will be ordering again from The Country House!! :)

I found this store while searching for some rustic themed stores and I was not disappointed! This store is packed to the brim with nic-nacks and essentials to make any home feel cozy! It has a large selection of themed wall decor to choose from and tons of place setting essentials for any dinning room. But also has great little treasures to give rooms a nice personal touch. I myself bought a cute rustic looking lantern and old style window frame that I hope to turn into a multi-picture frame! Great service too! They have baskets or they can store things behind the counter in named bins for you so you dont have to walk around with arms full of all the stuff you find. 😁 Bathrooms and fitting rooms are on site. Google says masks are required right now, but the most current sign on the door (my visit was Aug 17, 2021) said masks optional, your choice. 😁💜

My breath was taken away as soon as I pulled up. There is a beautiful garden out front. Make sure you have plenty of time to shop around because their inventory is massive. They have everything from t-shirts and socks to candles and lamps. The store was well organized which made it easier to browse the available items. Their products are a little more on the expensive side, but they are quality items. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would describe this store as magical.

Upon entering the store I was a little skeptical. I was overwhelmed with many racks and shelves that had scented candles, which isnt good for an asthmatic like myself, and I couldnt see past that area making me feel a bit clostraphobic. However, I decided to continue into the store and I am glad I did. They have an incredibly large store that is literally packed from one end to the other, floor to ceiling, with everything you can imagine to decorate and accent your home. You can get exquisite furniture and then outfit it with accessories all the way down to your place mat and coffee mug or tea set. You can cover your windows with curtains or drapes and accent that with stained glass window dressings. I ended up purchasing a few things and would recommend all to check out this store as Im sure you wont regret it. When you do go, be sure to check out their outlet as well because there are some really GREAT deals for some odd pieces they have.I did give them only four stars because of two things. I never lost that feeling of being closed in and they are a bit overpriced. But, keep in mind that you get what you pay for and they do have QUALITY items many of them handcrafted. So, all in all a great store that I highly recommend you visit a couple times because you wont be able to see everything in one visit.

I stop there on my way back home every time we go to the beach. It’s the best country store that has all types of old time goodies and you won’t be disappointed! It’s worth the visit!

I am from Severna Park, MD, and the Country House has always been my favorite place to go. For years, it was like Christmas day whenever I would make the trip over the bridge to Salisbury. I love everything about this place and have spent a great deal of money (happily) there over the years. I am getting ready to retire from my government job in Tampa, FL and will be living back in Maryland by 6/21. I have already announced to friends and family that one of the first things I plan to do is go to the Country House. I am SO excited and look forward to seeing you all soon.

I always enjoy going to country house very friendly, beautiful collectible, decorations and clothing and jerlery. I can always find something I want. If you go on Saturday there is a discount store that you can find things you wanted at a cheaper price. The prices are reasonable. They have open house always 2nd Saturday in Nov. win prizes and freshmen’s.

Frist time going there my wife and I always past the store but never stopped in until today they have so many neat gifts there we were amazed on all the decorations and lights and candles and furniture and Christmas stuff it is a truly a hidden gem of a store the staff is very helpful and pleasant so glad we stopped in

Absolutely so disappointed! My husband and I both took a personal day off from work. Its better than a 3hour ride from our home. I called to see about hours this day. Told they close at 5pm. Only to find the place closed due to winter hours. The week of Easter!Several other customers where stopping by to find the same results. It happens, but I spoke to a person who gave me the information. Lost my business, I wil not travel back. I also need to mention that I knocked on a joining building to find several young woman working. They were polite offered to let us in. Registers not up place dark not the ideal situation. But they did. To survive in business you have to count on a number of things. Easter doesnt always fall in April and rarely in March. When ordering merchandise you want to sell you need be open!

We used to like coming here when passing through the area but it’s gone downhill. The village next door is now closed. The store is overwhelmingly cluttered and they have the same items I saw there 4 years ago. There is a string across the couch making sure you don’t sit down- really? I think to stay afloat in today’s e-commerce world they will need to up their game to stick around. They should add a restaurant where the village was, organize the store, be more welcoming to families and those who want to sit while their family browses. Sadly-We won’t return.

Used to love the store but not anymore since you have stocked less Country stuff and put in more non Country stuff (Vera Bradley, Scarves, Jewelry and clothes). You are supposed to be a Country store.

We had a horrible experience! We had to wait 3 hours for our room to be ready. We finally got into our room and there were little flying bugs everywhere, on the walls and window. The lady said we can switch rooms. So we went and looked at the other room and the same thing happened Bugs EVERYWHERE. We will never stay here again. But the view was nice ! We also went on the 4th floor yo park and the hallway by the elevator reeked of Marijuana. What a disgrace
